The Great Betrayal

We wake up today to a Republican victory. Very few of the Republicans that won last night are conservative firebrands. In spite of the victory, the powers that be in the GOP are not eager to confront Obama or attempt to overturn Obamacare. The vast majority of Republican winners last night do want to confront the TEA Party and drive authentic conservatives from their midst. They see Ted Cruz as a troublemaker. They are skeptical of Rand Paul and think much of what he says and does is mere posturing in a quest for the White House. Most of the GOPers that won hate real conservatives far more than they hate what the Democrats are doing to this country. If you think salad days are immediately ahead for a resurgent America, the moderate majority elected last night is bound to disappoint you.
