Corrupt Beyond Belief

The United States Department of Justice (at this point, an oxymoron) is subject to the oversight of Congress (a coequal branch of government to the executive and the judiciary). Biden's DOJ will share certain information with the DemocRAT-controlled Senate but NOT the US House of Representatives that has fallen under GOP leadership to protect the head of the snake Joe Biden. Biden, of course, is merely the figurehead of a cabal that is against America's Founding values and working hard to overturn traditional morality (abortion to the moment of birth and perhaps a bit past that and the sexual mutilation of children labelled "transitioning" or "gender-affirming care"). The Biden family are self-interested only and not interested in the welfare of your family and all those who support their taking of the White House are against you. 

Seemed Like Rooting

Did it look to you that either some of the officials or someone with influence over them really wanted the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl? After the questionable intentional grounding call on Joe Burrow, Mahomes did exactly the same thing with no penalty being called. If I want to watch an event with a predetermined outcome, I will tune in pro wrestling. 

An Unusual Event

Does anyone find it strange that there are reports all over the world of chickens who have stopped laying eggs? There have been postings that when commercial chicken feed is discontinued, the hens start laying eggs again. I generally do not latch onto so-called "conspiracy theories", but when you have leaders of the World Economic Forum declaring the "sustainable population of earth" is less than one billion people, they might also be pushing to eliminate billions of us.

What are some examples of sports stars denouncing violence African-American commit against each other or on white folks? I see many are eager to shout and kneel when police are involved but dead silent when it is brother shooting brother. 

Just a Question

When was the last time LeBron James voiced concern about black on black violence when it did NOT involve police? It does not seem that the lives of African-Americans in and of themselves are significant to the basketball star, but only become important when a cop takes them. 

Brush Back Pitch

The State of California is now in the process of disbarring Donald Trump's election lawyer. John Eastman may lose his livelihood over representing the wrong client, who happened to be the President of the United States. I imagine if Trump somehow secures the nomination of the Republican Party or even runs as an independent or as the leader of some party of his own creation, he will be hard pressed to find any attorneys to assist him and his cause. Of course, what California is doing is obscene with this effort to deny half or more of America their voice and vote. 

Best Gun Law

The rare but tragic event of Asians slaughtering Asians in America (not uncommon in other places- see Cambodia) was used by power-mad opportunists to demand heretofore legally owned guns be taken from white people. Certain folks were blaming "racism" for the shootings before it was publicly announced the shooters and victims were all of the same race. Sadly, some folks even expressed relief that there was no racial component evident in the massacres. Dead is dead and the victims are gone no matter the skin tone of the assailants. We do not need more gun control. California is already one of the most restrictive states but that is where the killing sprees happened, showing gun control inevitably fails. There should not be "hate crime laws". Punish felons for their actions, not for what may have been in their heads when they acted. Every crime against a person is an offense to the human race and that is how it should be treated in law. 

The Global Nightmare

The West is not right about much, but Russia is an aggressor country the likes of which has not been seen in Europe since World War II. Iran is a trouble maker which enslaves its own populace and is the world's leading sponsor of terror. Red China exploits the slave labor of millions and has territorial designs (obviously) on Taiwan and neighbors beyond that. North America is trying to turn little girls into boys and vice versa. Mexico is a drug cartel haven where the government does not control the traffickers, but the traffickers are the hidden hand directing the elected leaders. Nations as seemingly innocuous as the Netherlands and New Zealand have planned the starvation of their own people or imposed almost endless lockdowns. There is little peace on earth and even that is in jeopardy. 

What We Need

America has plenty of unskilled and semiskilled native labor. Should we take refugees? Not economic ones, but yes, legitimate claims of persecution should be accepted, if some safe third country will not accept the claimants. Will we welcome skilled workers? Yes, if few Americans are similarly skilled, and we need the particular ability here and that new arrival is not taking work from us because the migrant will work cheaper. 

World Economic Coven

A bunch of wannabe dictators who want to control folks are holding their annual meeting in Davos. So far as I am concerned, they should just stay there. They can take their plans and pronouncements and shove them. 

Do Not Know

So far little is known about the gunman who carried out the massacre in California. What we are certain of is that unscrupulous politicians will use the evil event to try to strip law-abiding people of the means to protect themselves and their families. That they always use events like this as a lever against their own constituents shows they are as warped as the shooter himself and likely even more power-mad. 

Better for Them

I happen to really like raccoons. My relationship with them started decades back when their visits helped my mother make it through chemotherapy. I have not regularly interacted with the cute little mammals since then but still find them precious. I watch lots of raccoon videos, and it seems like they really want to be domesticated. I read that in the wild, raccoons only live one and a half to three years. In "captivity", the little fellas live up to the age of twenty. Maybe, we can convince our political class to permit folks to keep coons as pets more broadly and hopefully nationwide. I think they would like it and know many animal lovers would.

Stupidest Approach Ever

West Virginia DemocRAT Senator Joe Manchin says we have to lower United States debt but must raise the Debt Ceiling. How about we hold the line on the Debt Ceiling and actually start to curtail the out of control spending by the Federal government? You will never lower the debt by giving the government greater latitude to spend even more taxpayer money. 

The Biden Prosperity

With fading old Joe spending trillions of dollars and the printing presses of the US Treasury overheating, many Americans suddenly find themselves millionaires. Of course, with eggs at their highest prices ever, with baby formula costing a fortune, if a parent is even able to locate some, with gasoline still prohibitively expensive, your inflated dollars are flying out your purse or wallet faster than ever. If people think about it, they will realize they would have been better off with a hundred thousand dollars back in the 1950s when Eisenhower was making sure US currency held its value than with Biden's over-printed green toilet paper. The Zimbabweans were even wealthier on paper, all billionaires, but that paper was worthless! 

A Rat's Rump

If we do something to reduce the circumstances for ninety-five percent of the people now, we can cool the earth two-tenths of a degree by the end of the century. We will strip freedom of movement from all but the wealthiest and the political elite. We will starve millions to death if not more and compel everyone but the ruling class to eat bugs. We will deliberately inhibit economic growth and the creation of broad prosperity in service of a man-caused climate change myth and destroy the standard of living of the West in doing so. Those who are pushing these restrictions are true enemies of humanity. 

A Salient Point

If Biden sent lawyers to look for classified documents and they did not hold top secret clearances, was that in and of itself not a crime? Who vetted fading old Joe's legal team to make sure they were not working for some enemy of America or themselves compromised in some way? As much as I doubt the Federal Bureau of Investigation at the moment, I still would trust them doing the looking more than someone hired by Team Biden. 

Very Revealing Fact

With very few exceptions, the DemocRATS that were in high dudgeon about Donald Trump allegedly having classified documents are either silent about Biden having them from back when he was Vice President, or they are claiming the top secrets were somehow planted to discredit fading old Joe. What is sauce for the goose must be the same for the gander unless you are a total hypocrite. 

Types of Families

A well-adjusted normative family should declare "home is where the hearth is".  Too often today, families might be more aptly characterized as "home is where the HARM is". When a parent is a drunk or narcotics user, there is often abuse and almost invariably neglect. When a mother or father (or heaven-forbid, both) play along or even encourage the fad or mental illness of sexual transitioning for minors, perhaps the children would be better off as orphans. When Mom and/or Dad instill race grievance, they are creating anger and perhaps violence and incarceration for their wards (and that is not limited to a particular race). When a kid is catered to by privileged parents, a spoiled youth turns into an entitled adult, who likely never contributes to society. The ideal model is a family that acknowledges and is grateful for the blessings the Lord bestows, is abstemious and self-disciplined, see us all as members of the same race (the one and only human race), and shares the bounty they are granted with others. That home is surely where the hearth and heart is. 

The Primary Difference

Presidents of the United States enjoy the authority inherent in the highest office to declassify what would otherwise remain secret information. American Vice Presidents do NOT have that power. 

Easing Biden Out

The DemocRATS now have the lever they need to remove the senile usurper they installed in favor of the younger incompetent they placed as Vice President. The cabal can say Joe's lack of awareness about "classified documents" reflects rapid mental decline and that America now needs Harris to come save us. She is surely more vigorous than Joe is at his age but just as stupid as Biden, and even less eloquent, if that is even possible. The Bidens might go along with this because no blame or guilt would redound to anyone else in the family like son Hunter or Joe's brother. Then Kamala can run as the incumbent and claim how different and how much better the United States will be under a full-term Harris regime with new ideas and youthful (relative to Biden and Trump) energy in charge. 

Some Real Insurrectionists

On some websites, you have commenters openly calling for civil war or revolution in the United States. Are these people crazy? Do they want to share cells with the January 6ers? Do they want to end up in reeducation camps?   

Flash in Pan

I think that sports in the Southeastern Conference are highly overrated. How many hockey championships do those southern boys have? And curling- those kids down there don't curl worth a darn. There is not a cricket club at any of those universities that holds a candle to the fellows in Lahore. 

Focus on Brazil

When you have a criminal who steals an election become your nation's "leader", it is hard to know how to proceed. If you resist having your country taken over, you are giving the cabal all the excuse it needs to crack down on you and the entire opposition, but if you do not try to block the takeover, you are giving in to having your freedoms taken by a tyrant. Perhaps the only solution is a general strike, but even with this action, expect those seen as leaders of the action to be arrested by the illegitimate government. So unless such a shut down of commerce is spontaneous and from the street up, it might well fail as the organizers are detained. I hate to say it, but very few bloodless revolutions have ever overturned tyranny. I pray this is NOT the case, but maybe the horror of civil war must befall Brazil, so the the people can be free again. 

Erasing Our History

If you destroy your national heritage, it is likely your country will not long endure. If you denounce your own patrimony, you will soon be subjects to a foreign enemy or a domestic tyrant. When you destroy your monuments and rename your military bases, you do not make your future better but only tarnish whatever good went along with the bad in any place, as men are fallible and the institutions they create are by definition flawed. A polity composed of angels intent on doing altruism would not need police or borders or prisons or fences, but such a place will always and only be a fantasy. 

An Unlucky Seven

My hometown professional football team, the Tennessee Titans, just suffered an epic collapse, dropping seven games in a row and losing their way out of the playoffs. They had a lousy 0 and two start to the regular season and a disastrous finish. In midseason, the Titans seemed relatively good. They withstood a spate of injuries two seasons in succession. I think the coaching staff is adequate, but perhaps a different strength and conditioning program might reduce the number of hurt Titans. We have some great players but just can't seem to surmount that final hurdle and have a champion here in Nashville. 

All Hail McCarthy

America- we finally have a new Speaker of the United States House of Representatives- Kevin McCarthy. We have all witnessed him battle like a tiger for his new position of power. I have some doubt that McCarthy will wage similar fights for the benefit of the American people. Kevin may have all the redeeming qualities of his namesake, the late Wisconsin US Senator McCarthy (Republican). There is little question that many American politicians are for sale. The real concern should be who is buying them. Will Kevin McCarthy do us proud? I say it is about one hundred to one against Representative McCarthy doing working Americans any good. 

The Forked Tongues

The Republican politicians are so corrupt that they require written agreements within their own party because they can't be trusted to abide by the deals they make unless they are this formalized. A handshake or their word is not good enough. If they are so slippery with each other, imagine how they behave towards their constituents. And they are the more honest of the two major political parties, as the whole DemocRAT edifice is built on lies and cheating. As a nation, America is really messed up at the moment. 

State of Grace

Twenty twenty-three should be a good year for my home state. We have a Republican super-majority in the Tennessee legislature and a GOP governor, who is relatively conservative. We are growing at a pace few states can match. We are a free state with fair elections (save for the cheating the DemocRATS try in the major cities). We have no state income tax. If you want a sanctuary from government overreach, join us in Tennessee. 

A "Ruff" Day

Our seventeen year old four-legged miracle nearly left us today. Bru was in great and unprecedented distress today. We had to rush him to one of Nashville's emergency veterinary hospitals. They (with the good Lord's help) managed to pull him through. He has been a very good dog, and we would hate to have him leave us. 

The Forever War

There may be an end date to the Russian invasion, but there is no expiration of the war by totalitarians against the people of the nations they control. Do you see the despots in Red China or North Korea surrendering their power? Will the mad mullahs enslaving Iran ever relinquish their authority? There are more countries out there than you know where hidden hands are smothering freedom. 

Ukraine Over All

Ukrainian forces will never be able to conquer Russia. That, of course, will never be their objective. They only have to prevent the Russian military conquering them. These facts are a recipe for deadlock, continuing conflict, and carnage.  

Bad to Worse

Will you tell me all your reasons for optimism about 2023? . . . I thought so- I don't have any either. Well anyway, best of luck. I pray we make it into 2024.
