An Ice Age

Those who profit from the Global Warming Hoax do not have an answer for the historic cold snap America is experiencing. If salary and grant money is contingent on maintaining a lie, many keep lying.

The Future Holds , , ,

I can not say with any certainty anything in particular is going to happen in 2018. If I could foretell the future I would be richer than Croesus.

North Korea War

I predict a war with North Korea in the coming year.Would you rather see Pyongyang obliterated or maybe have more than one hundred million Americans die as a result of an electromagnetic pulse bomb (a nuclear weapon set off in the atmosphere over the US)? I would rather see neither, but I think the unstable and aggressive nature of the North Korean dictator means Trump can not wait and must preempt that sort of aggression.

No Freezer Required

It was so cold outside that even though the freezer was full, the ice cream held up fine in the garage. If it was any colder, the snowman would have come inside to warm up.

Had Hillary Won

If Clinton had defeated Trump, your gun rights would be under siege right now. If Hillary was President, the US would be punishing Israel now for mistreating the Palestinians and America certainly would not be moving our embassy to Jerusalem. ISIS would still be on the ascendency, and North Korea would feel emboldened. Thank God, Hillary did not win.

Merry Christmas Readers

I assume the vast majority of readers are celebrating Christmas today. To all those who are- may you enjoy nothing but blessings now and in the coming year.

Made Great Again

I am so glad that America has shed a leader in favor of "managed decline" and replaced him with a leader determined to let us reach our best again. Thank you President Trump for a good first year as President. May your second year be even better.

Wrong Ones Dying

How come decent people who would not hurt a fly drop dead before they reach retirement age, but you hear of some Nazi war criminal too sick to stand trial because he is one hundred years old? I guess the good really do die young.

Touching the Sun

The lithe blond girl sped down the drive on the bicycle toward Hillsboro Road and the setting sun. The younger girl and boy watched amazed. Sandy was moving so fast on the ten speed the little boy thought she would take off into that glowing golden orb. Now, fifty years later, you made it babe and you add to the glow. You will shine on forever.

Against the People

The Democrats are at war with the values of our Founding Fathers and with the values of normal people. Most folks do not love Marx and hate George Washington. Most folks don't want a thirty year old transgender in the locker room shower with their eight year olds. Most folks respect our National Anthem and Old Glory. Most folks that is except for the elite Democrats who despise what most folks adore.

Might Just Help

The government confiscating a little less of what you have earned can do nothing but help. Getting to keep a bit more of your earnings will allow you to decide what you need to do with it rather than sending it into the morass of DC. Any decrease in taxes is a good thing.

Speed Really Kills

Many commercial trucks and buses are fitted with a governor that limits their speed. It is astounding to me that Amtrak passenger trains are not similarly equipped. With the technology that exists today, the Washington State train wreck never should have happened.

Rattling the Cage

President Trump loudly has proclaimed his support for America's police. I wonder if he has ever seen the Daniel Shaver video?

Solid Citizen Sage

We are blessed to have a rescue Keeshond named Sage who is the "policeman" of the house. Sage keeps everything in good order. He is certainly the Alpha and the bodyguard to our fourteen year old rescued female Curry. These four furry characters we rescued make the holidays and everyday interesting.

Bowl Season Starting

This is likely the college football fan's favorite time of year. The bowls kick off today. I am disappointed that the school that represents my home state, the University of Tennessee, will not be competing in a bowl, but under the new staff next season, I bet they will be back.

Prayers Are Appreciated

A beautiful soul, my cousin Sandy, is struggling for her life tonight. Prayers for her recovery are deeply appreciated.

What Price Victory

Too often, we allow the perfect to be the enemy of the good, and end up losing elections to the truly miserable.

A Troubling Loss

Roy Moore is an honorable patriot, who was successfully defamed by smears. Moore would have bettered the Senate. Doug Jones is a socialist lapdog for Obama, Clinton, Schumer, and Pelosi. The Establishment is happy because someone who would have advanced the Trump agenda and drained the swamp was denied a seat in the US Senate.

Stakes Are High

Everything hinges on Alabama. Are you going to believe allegations from decades ago backed up by no proof and vote against a God-fearing super-patriot? Are you going to vote in an abortion-on-demand gun-banner? I say vote Roy Moore and the swamp be drained.

Close the Borders

A jihadi from Bangladesh just tried to kill a lot of New Yorkers. Thankfully, he did not succeed. The US needs a Southern border wall and stringent restrictions on any foreigner entering the country.

Religion of Peace

I am sure Muslims of good-conscience everywhere will denounce the firebombing of the synagogue in Gothenburg, Sweden that was filled with Jewish worshippers. No matter what one thinks of the situation in the Middle East, there is no reason to export conflict to Europe, particularly since many Swedish Jews are anti-Zionist.

Our National Game

The oldest US service academies compete in football today. While few if any of the players will ever become professional football millionaires, every member of both teams will treat the National Anthem with respect.

Squandering Our Edge

I worry that so little of Trump's agenda has passed with Republicans in charge of the House and Senate. If Trump can not secure victories soon, there is no chance the Democrats, who will likely take over in 2018, will pass anything conservatives want or allow anything Trump manages to pass to stand.

Pearl Harbor Haze

With the woeful education US students receive at public secondary schools, some Americans today do not know the significance of Pearl Harbor. Others are aware but are so indoctrinated to hate their own country that they blame the attack on America and in so doing, absolve Japan. On this Pearl Harbor Day, let us commemorate the real history of sacrifice and courage and remember the event that forced the United States into World War II.

Our Natural Rights

I have great reverence for the US Constitution. This great document did not bestow any rights on us. The Good Lord did.

Virtue of Patriotism

My elementary school principal really wanted to imbue her young charges with her love of our country. Forty years ago at Harding Academy, Mrs. McPherson taught us about freedom and heroes and the way our Republic was designed to work. Thank you Mrs. McPherson for those lessons then that helped make me the patriot I am to this day.

Not Terror Attack

The New York driver who plowed into people on a sidewalk was NOT a terrorist, but that is little consolation to the people he hit. It is sad that we seem to need massive barriers in place to separate drivers from folks walking, but that is the world we live in today.

Sunday, December 3, 2017

Accident or Attack

A hit-and-run driver in New York City has just killed one person and injured at least three others. Given the spate of terror attacks by vehicles, one has to wonder whether this too is an act of jihad.

Drunk with Power

President Trump is not a megalomaniac and is not overreaching Presidential powers. Robert Mueller is overreaching and drunk with power.

Back to Earth

Bitcoin has, as I predicted, started to plummet. It lost twenty percent of its value in a single day. Look for the Bitcoin decline to continue.
