Itching for War

Donald Trump is a "PEACE" President. Trump believes in avoiding foreign entanglements and conflict by building up overwhelming power that only the suicidal might challenge. Unfortunately, the mullahs that control Iran are End Time fanatics who care nothing for the survival of the Iranian people and welcome death themselves as a means to bring the 12th Imam out of his place of hiding in the well. While the US leader and the American people have never wanted a new fight in the Middle East, the Iranian despots fervently want to pull the world into a great conflagration.

Chaos and Violence

In the coming year, most people will want peace and prosperity. Those monsters in human form, who do not want a better year, will do all they can to create havoc and shed blood. Unfortunately, the evil doers will achieve their bloody ends as they do every year.

A Strong Finish

LSU football is so dominant this season that they look like they could give an NFL cellar-dweller a pretty good game. Clemson had a legitimate gripe about being the defending national champ but getting no respect. The Tigers versus Tigers may be a title game for the ages. I will just tell you- I am rooting for the Tigers and guarantee you right now they will win the national championship.

Our Small World

Decades back, we visited Charleston and Savannah and I will be darned if we did not run into a Keeshond from Nashville travelling the same route we were that we had met and played with earlier back in my hometown. Million to one coincidences like that happen occasionally. I was in a relationship with a lady from a tiny town at the West Virginia border with Ohio and Kentucky, and decades later I dated a woman from this same little town. Turns out they were distant cousins- another million to one coming to pass- sometimes the seemingly impossible just happens.

Before Taking Office

President Trump had people plotting impeachment before he even took the oath of office. Before Trump was sworn in, Democrats were plotting to oust him. It makes no difference what the President has done or if he is completely innocent, these haters had their coup in the works the moment Trump defeated Hillary.

Least Discerning Senator

Either Lisa Murkowski did not watch or follow the proceedings in the US House or she is a self-absorbed attention-seeker of the worst order who cares nothing for her state or our country. Anyone who watched the kangaroo court conducted by Pelosi must recognize the lack of due process, hearsay, bias, and the complete absence of any crimes committed by President Trump. Senator Murkowski must also know that Donald Trump is the "Energy" President, bringing unprecedented prosperity to her home state Alaska by reducing the restrictions on oil and natural gas exploration and production that the Obama regime had imposed there as part of their jihad against sensible exploitation of domestic US resources. Murkowski is not trying to find the truth or represent her constituents. She is trying to grab the media spotlight to stroke her massive ego.

The Developed World

We are so selfish as First Worlders that we actually enjoy driving, light, heat, and refrigeration. What selfish pigs we are here in America. Thank goodness Greta has come around to show us the error of our ways and that we now have a Pope who agrees with her.

Our Holiday Wishes

I hope for peace, health, and plenty for all in the coming year. None of these wonderful things will happen, but it would be a blessing if they did.

Cheapening the Process

The one thing Democrats in DC are usually very good at is pulling politics down into the gutter. They have achieved unparalleled success in this aspect with an impeachment of our President without any high crime or misdemeanor.

Nashville Becoming London

Two young men should have had promising futures. Their lives were cut short (literally) by a knife-wielding killer outside a club in my hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. So far as I know, there is no Constitutional right to carry a blade. Aggressive enforcement of a ban on carrying knives would save lives. We do not want and will do what we can to stop slaughter on our streets.

Bowl Season Starts

To those college football fans mocking the early bowls with their Podunk State versus Nowhere University jokes, at least their teams are in postseason games. Can you say that about the college team you follow?

The Phony Impeachment

If Nancy Pelosi fails to send the impeachment to the US Senate, it means she knows the Democrats have no case. Pelosi's inaction will prove the impeachment was nothing more than a partisan smear and fake news all along.

Theirs for Ours

The Democrats want to supplant their will for the will of Trump supporters. Just over a couple of hundred US House Democrats (not even all of them- there were a couple against impeachment and an abstention) believe their wisdom and judgement is better than that of over sixty million Trump voters. They believe they can negate and deny the rights of those millions who support our President. I think these Democrats have just (unwittingly) handed the Republicans back the House majority come the next election. And it is all for nothing, because President Trump is innocent and will not be removed by the US Senate.

America's Overwhelming Interest

Don't you feel the groundswell of support for the Democrat impeachment effort? Me either- those who hate President Trump still despise him and back impeachment. The sane Americans recognize this impeachment is a farce orchestrated by self-deluded partisans and will likely reelect Trump in 2020.

Daughter Wants Puppy

Three dogs apparently are not enough. My four year old wants a puppy. At some point, I am fairly certain she will have a puppy all her own, but that may be after the three dogs and I have shuffled off this mortal coil.

One Fell Down

Some poor fellow fell (or jumped) to his death a few hundred feet in front of us from an overpass on I-65 in Bowling Green. We were inconvenienced for an hour, but the victim may have found a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

The Proper Course

I do not think the US Senate should simply dismiss the impeachment charges. I think the Republicans in charge there should call all the corrupt coup plotters, from the "whistleblower"and James Comey, to the mysteriously enriched Hunter Biden. There should be a thoroughgoing investigation of all those who sought to bring down the innocent President Trump on made-up charges.

To Restore Order

I hope that in President Trump's second term he will do more to confront violent crime. When I see the barbarity inflicted on the Barnard College student, I yearn for a swift and certain justice that I know no longer exists in the United States. Perhaps with a Republican Congress, Trump can institute the types of punishments that will restore deterrence to the would-be thugs who no longer fear the punishment they are going to face.

Brexit Must Happen

With the overwhelming victory of Boris Johnson, he must deliver Brexit. No more excuses are acceptable. The wishes of the voters must be honored.

Land of Sanctuary

You would think the in-gathering of my people in the Jewish State would serve as some protection. The mad mullahs of Tehran have long encouraged the Jews to concentrate their population in Israel. That way we (the Jews) can mostly be wiped out in one fell swoop. Europe certainly is not safe for the Jews. Recent events demonstrate the Jews of America are in peril as well. When I heard a kosher market was attacked in New Jersey, my initial thought was "terrorism". Authorities initially denied any terrorist or antisemitic motive but less than a day later, it seems I was correct. Jewish people have to be prepared to protect themselves, even in America.

Arming Our Troops

Those charged with protecting us clearly should be allowed to protect themselves. It is preposterous that our forces on our soil are not permitted to carry guns. A "gun-free" military base is an oxymoron conceived by genuine morons.

Trusted Saudi Friends

After September 11, 2001, when 15 of the 19 mass murderers were Saudi, one might think America would vet Saudis entering the US thoroughly. With the terror attack in Pensacola, it seems Saudis are still coming in with murderous intentions. US authorities should greet Saudis seeking admittance very skeptically. Saudis have no inherent right to come here when their countrymen have already slaughtered so many Americans.

Democrats Against Israel

Democrats in the US House just sided with terrorists over the State of Israel. They did this because the Trump administration saw the light and realized that a two-state solution is not viable because the Palestinians are led by terrorists who will only be satisfied when the Jewish State is no more and because House Democrats are so against Trump that if he is for something, they must stand against it.

A Losing Proposition

Impeachment in the US House of Representatives is likely to succeed (based on no high crimes or misdemeanors) because Democrats have the majority. No conviction will come because Democrats do not control the Senate. Why go forward when ultimately you are bound to fail?

Impeachment Lie Implemented

The baldfaced partisan liars that comprise the Democrat House are indeed impeaching our innocent (and great) President. They wish to negate the will of over sixty million American voters. I think the Democrats will have this backfire. They will lose the House and see President Trump reelected in 2020.

Little Purpose Left

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization was built as a bulwark against the USSR. The USSR is no more and NATO member Turkey is aggressive and expansionist with Erdogan setting his sights on fellow NATO member Greece. Europe and America certainly still face collective threat, but there is little reason that the US should be the guarantor and purse for countries that should be able to defend themselves.

You Versus Diablo

Your Canario dog "Diablo", who you rescued as a five pound puppy, may see things a little differently than you do. You see your neighbor's kittens as cute balls of fuzz. Diablo sees them as appetizers. You see your sister's Golden Retriever coming over for a doggie play date as a nice companion for your big fella. Your big fella thinks "entree". You see the neighbor with the pair of pitbulls as scary. Diablo wonders if when he packs up with these two other bruisers, if the mailman or the UPS delivery guy will taste better. You really love Diablo, but he does not necessarily reciprocate.

War Against Truth

All through the Trump Presidency, the mainstream media has been at war with our President. They have been at war with the truth, first by advancing the Russia hoax, and now, with the Ukraine hoax. There is also a media jihad against Trump supporters. With so many liars united against him, Trump may still prevail and win his second term.

Down the Hatch

I was at an establishment that served adult beverages and noticed many of the other patrons ordering libations that also contained cinnamon. Even some world-renowned brands that heretofore did not, now featured cinnamon. I did not want to pay twelve bucks for a drink featuring cinnamon, so I enjoyed my water with lemon that was free and chewed a stick of five cent cinnamon gum as I drove back to my house.

Trade Deals Languish

Because Nancy Pelosi is determined to see President Trump defeated, she will not allow Congress to pass USMCA. This trade agreement would benefit the nation, but because it might also help Trump secure reelection, Pelosi keeps it on the back burner. There is plenty Congress should do to help the people, but they will not because they are only focused on damaging Trump.

Always Be Vigilant

As events today in London demonstrate, we must never let down our guard. An attack may come in any public place. Our law enforcement must be proactive. They must not play catch and release with potential terrorists. The suspect must not merely have an ankle monitor as seems to be the case with today's attack. It is impossible to stop every lone wolf or copycat, but apparently today's assailant was already known to be radicalized. Today's terror never should have happened.

To Be Thankful

Virtually every American has food in the belly and a roof over the head. That is great, but our real blessing is freedom.

Iran Versus World

Iran has threatened America yet again. At this point, Iran should tread lightly. Donald Trump is not Obama, and he will not let the mad mullahs and their generals intimidate the US.

More Tenacious Party

Will the GOP vigorously defend their innocent President? Will the Democrats remain unified in their commitment to impeach President Trump? Which party has backbone- the perpetrators of the hoax-based coup or the party of the the President who is trying to rid DC of corruption?

Impeachment Polling Poorly

Obviously, Republicans do not support the removal of their President. Somewhat surprisingly, independent voters do not want President Trump impeached either, despite nothing but negative reporting on him from almost all media for the duration of his Presidency. The Democrats want their opponent impeached but have produced no facts to convince the rest of America that our President should go.

How Deeply Entrenched?

The "Deep State" exists. It has enormous power. The Deep State may yet bring down our competent and honest President. President Trump sought to drain the swamp. The swamp is deeper than anyone knew.

Known by Enemies

President Trump has cretins lined up against him. Trump must be doing plenty right to have the cast of villains he has opposing him. Adam Schiff is about as disgusting a public figure as America has ever had.

Our Prosperity President

The rotten-to-the-core redistributionists in the United States hate President Trump because he has allowed free enterprise to thrive. Americans are more prosperous than ever. Reduced regulation and taxes have put more money in almost everyone's accounts. The President proves our system is better than socialism every day.

Another Coup Attempted

Now, Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu faces an attempted coup just as President Trump does. Both leaders may hold onto power because both are innocent of wrongdoing.

Eye of Beholder

If you are a never-Trumper, then you saw plenty today to merit impeachment. If you are fair-minded or even sane, then you see this is nothing more than a coup.

The Impossible Standard

Nancy Pelosi would be happy for President Trump to testify to prove his innocence. This would of course turn justice on its head as our system has always required prosecutors to prove guilt. This is precisely what Pelosi wants, to overturn jurisprudence as America has heretofore known it.

Time of Revolution

I have not seen such widespread instability and potential for violence since 1968. From Chile to Hong Hong to Iran, regimes are just itching to slaughter protesters. America is roiled by "impeachment", but outside of ANTIFA thugs, there is little political violence here. Much of the world though is a tinderbox at the moment.

An Epic Trek

The parents of the three year old twins in their double stroller must have found it remarkable to see their charges sleep through all the excitement of the theme park. They were wide awake for the two hundred mile drive with their constant "Are we there yet?", but managed to sleep through all the crowds and noise. The toddlers probably would have enjoyed it more with their eyes open.

Our sojourn has ended with everyone more or less intact. Now, we need a vacation to recover from our vacation.

The Road Back

I hope for safe travels back after our daughter's spectacular vacation. We had numerous firsts for our four year old. She was as happy as a child could possibly be.

Farce of Impeachment

A Soviet-style show trial is being conducted by Democrats in the US House. They are denying President Trump due process. They are making the President do the impossible and prove he committed no crimes but there is no way to prove a negative.

Aiming for Somalia

Not content with slaughtering American women and children, Mexico has slipped further toward failed state status with sea piracy of an Italian vessel. Mexico now resembles Somalia at its worst in terms of violence. A wall separating the US from such a crime-ridden country now appears more necessary than ever.

Those pitching "warming" said it was man's fault. Those who see "cooling" in the offing say it will be man's fault. It can not be both. It is hubris to think we are so powerful and changing terms to call everything "man-caused" does not change that.

More Then Less

Veterans of World War II are almost all gone now. Even veterans of the Korean Conflict are growing scarce. Even with these veterans departing, there are new heroes emerging everyday as fighting continues in the war on terror. We must celebrate and commemorate those who have served and are now serving to ensure that liberty never passes from this land.

A New Adventure

To a four year old, virtually everything is a new adventure. Going to Walmart- wow! Visiting an ice cream parlor- outstanding! Seeing the ocean- unbelievable! I wish I could enjoy a tenth of the thrills my daughter is experiencing, but I have outgrown wonder at my cynical age.

A Traveling Man

I am taking our daughter on her first trip to Florida. My blogging may be more sporadic than usual. I left frost on the ground in Nashville with snow coming, to enjoy eighty degrees and balmy breezes. I wish you all could join us.

Guns and Soda

Nanny-state ninny Michael Bloomberg wants to be President. He will not win, but if he did, Bloomberg (who travels with armed bodyguards) would gut our Second Amendment. He would also wage war on soda, as he believes he is smarter than you are and needs to limit your choice. New York City has had great mayors. Fiorello LaGuardia and Rudy Giulani spring to mind. Michael Bloomberg was not even a great leader for New York City. He does not have what it takes to lead the nation.

City of Cranes

There are more construction cranes up in my hometown of Nashville than I have seen anywhere. Prices of real estate are soaring. Homes are selling the moment they are listed. Nashville is booming like never before.

Rejecting All Sanity

Not content with the rising tide bringing them good fortune, stupid or mentally-ill Kentuckians seem to have voted out their GOP governor. Most of them will likely suffer for this mistake.

Never Been Better

Kentucky has been doubly blessed to have Republicans leading both the Commonwealth and the nation. Because taxes and government regulation have been reduced, Kentuckians have never been more prosperous. Kentucky must keep the GOP in power to grow the wealth even further. Go out and vote today and keep the momentum MAGA!

A Thrilling Rally

President Trump led a rally of thousands of patriots in Kentucky tonight. The crowd filled Rupp Arena with thousands more supporters outside. There was more love for America at this rally than all the events the Democrats have staged put together.

An Open Secret

Could it be that the so-called "whistleblower" is no more than an anti-Trump hack? Could it be that the so-called "quid pro quo" is just another big lie, just as Russia handing the election to Trump is a big lie? Could it be that Trump is innocent of wrongdoing and is simply being smeared by his enemies?

Taxed to Death

Elizabeth Warren would destroy healthcare and the economy with her massive government takeover. Doctors would retire or leave the profession in droves with the reduced compensation they would receive. Wait times for care would increase. Quality of care would diminish. Warren care would finish us off.

Some Collateral Damage

Democrats are perfectly content with going against due process and precedent, the Constitution, and the will of the people so long as Trump loses. The never-Trumpers are willing to make everyone suffer to deny President Trump a second term.

Concern for America

Nothing President Trump did merits impeachment. That really has nothing to do with what the Democrats are doing in the House of Representatives. They are punishing you for voting for Trump. They want to make sure you never vote against the establishment again. These Democrats and their media allies want to deny you your vote and your voice. Let us hope the Republicans in the Senate turn back impeachment that is not only aimed at the President, but everyone that supports him.

Concern for Lebanon

The country of Lebanon endured a long and bloody civil war. It now looks like Lebanon may fall into a shooting conflict again. Iran holds sway in much of Lebanon. Iran uses its proxy terror army Hezbollah to force Lebanon to bend to the will of the mad mullahs of Tehran. The Lebanese people are tired of corruption in government and the poverty that corruption engenders. Some Lebanese Shiites are happy with Iran's influence but much of the country wants the corruption and foreign influence removed from Lebanon. A bloody war may ensue to see which side prevails.

Concern for Syria

Assad is not concerned about the Syrian people. He is only worried about maintaining power, and the wealth he and his family have stolen from the Syrian people.

A Better Place

The head of ISIS has been eliminated by US forces. The world is better off without him. The threat of the Islamic State remains but at least, the murderous leader will no longer trouble innocent people.

Three Republican Dwarfs

The publicity-seekers who are challenging President Trump for the GOP nomination for President appeared together in my hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Almost nobody turned up to watch them and they will gather an insignificant number of votes. Nashville is booming under President Trump and Republicans in Tennessee are happy that he is our President.

Katie Hill Republican?

If disgraced Democrat US Representative Katie Hill was a Republican, I believe every American would know her name. Her proclivities would have led the news cycle instead of being buried in it or not reported at all. Hill would be famous, but because she is a Democrat, there is little mention of her perversion in the mainstream press.

Behind His Mask

Mitt Romney needs to hide behind a fake name and phony profile to express his opinions on social media. What a coward! At least President Trump has the guts to speak up for himself without a mask.

Last Indispensable Man

Is Israel bigger than Netanyahu? I would say at particular times in history, a person emerges who transforms the course of world events. Winston Churchill was one such titan of history. I believe Benjamin Netanyahu is another. Netanyahu saw, warned, and fought against the rise of Islamist terrorism. He replaced the socialism crippling Israel's economy with free market principles that unleashed unprecedented prosperity. He reached out to the Sunni states, especially Saudi Arabia, to highlight the danger posed by Iran. No leader, not even Ben-Gurion, has advanced the interests of Israel or done more for the safety of the Jewish people than Benjamin Netanyahu, yet like Winston Churchill at the conclusion of World War II, Netanyahu is about to lose power.

Our Peace President

When President Trump said he was against foreign wars, he really meant it. Trump believes in peace through strength and he really is increasing the capabilities of US forces, as opposed to his predecessor who weakened our military. Trump is not going to leave us in a foreign entanglement where no victory is possible. I support the Kurdish people in their desire for a state of their own but it is up to the Kurds themselves and not the US to do the fighting necessary to establish a Kurdish nation.

Our Prosperity President

The mainstream media, the Democrats, and never-Trump Republicans have tried to talk the US into a recession in service of denying President Trump a second term. In spite of all the obstacles to economic growth these Trump haters have thrown in the way, the Trump economy continues to flourish. Long live Trump! Long live our thriving America!

Piece of Mitt

After John McCain's death, some were wondering who would be the next turncoat-in-chief of the Republican Party. They did not have to wait long to find Mitt Romney is a capable back-stabbing replacement. The man who refused to close the deal by really not going after Obama has no problem attacking the President of his own party.

Another Clinton Run

I despise Hillary Clinton. I will give her credit though. If she decides to run right now, she is not as some speculate, too late. Not one vote has been cast yet. Hillary would win the Democrat nomination, and I fear she would win the Presidency. She is much more appealing than any of the current Democrat front runners and could finally fulfill her highest ambition.

Stupid or Selfish

NBA players who stand with Red China are often making huge amounts of money in China. They only seem concerned with keeping the cash rolling in, without the slightest consideration to the welfare of the Chinese people. This is pure selfishness on their part. Some NBA players may also be dumb, even if they attended Duke (as in "flat earth" Kyrie Irving). LeBron James long ago lost my respect with his "old white men" and "Jewish money" comments. Some pro basketball players are selfish or stupid or both and have driven me away from a sport I used to love.

Protecting the Kurds

No people are more entitled to a country of their own than the Kurds. If the Palestinians, who brought terrorism to the world, should have a state, then the Kurds who have fought against terrorists surely should. The Kurds are not all perfect, but no nation on earth is composed of perfect people. Turkey is a bully. Turkey has staged genocide in the past. The world must prevent a genocide against the Kurds. The Kurdish people have earned a Kurdish nation with their fight against ISIS.

The Democrat debate proved they all despise Trump. It also showed that all except Gabbard are delusional.

Democrats Embody Corruption

Do you think President Trump needs any graft to enrich himself? He was a billionaire before he ever sought office. Do you think the Clintons and Bidens would be rich as cream were it not for selling access to their office?

Resisting Ultimate Evil

If you love humanity, you must hate the government of Red China. If you love the Chinese people, you must hate those who oppress them. The Chinese people have been the primary victims of the government of Red China, with an estimated sixty million murdered so far. Hong Kong and Taiwan are the last chance for freedom for the Chinese people and we should rally to their defense.

Real Super Hero

I once saw an unbelievably brave man stand up against PLA tanks in China. No one knows what happened to this man. He was likely murdered for his courage. Now, craven politicians and corporate leaders bow to the leaders of Communist China. The despots that enslave China have killed more people than any other nation (including Nazi Germany and Stalin's Russia). Donald Trump is one of the few world leaders who have taken a stand against Red China. He may not be as brave as "TANK MAN", but it is a rare act of valor to resist Communist abuses.

Great Vietnamese Food

Nashville, Tennessee is not the first place you would think of to try some delicious pho. Believe it or not though, there are several wonderful Vietnamese restaurants here, particularly in the Charlotte Avenue corridor. They all are a little different, but each offers some tasty choices. Miss Saigon always has something sumptuous. It is but one of several places for a good meal with a little exotic flair that you might not expect to find in Music City.

Great Mexican Soda

I tried a Coke from Mexico the other day that is sold in an old-fashioned glass bottle. The label says that it is made with real sugar. I do not know if it is the glass bottle or the sugar or something else, but it seems to taste better than American Coke from a plastic bottle or can. In any event, if you are thirsty, there is nothing wrong with water or any other beverage, but that Mexican Coke really hit the spot.

Day of Prayer

Tennessee's governor has just sponsored a day of prayer and fasting. Participation was voluntary. I do not see how this event harmed anyone. If someone is an atheist, just do not participate. There are some busybodies who want to impose their lack of belief on the faithful. I stand with Governor Lee on this one.

Media Versus Truth

A long time back, Mark Twain said, "a lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes". The media almost succeeded in convincing the public that Putin had put Trump in the Presidency. Now, the mainstream press has spread the lie about Trump and the Ukraine enough that the majority may believe it. Lies may triumph in the short run, but in the end, I think truth will out and President Trump will prevail.

Real Population Replacement

Germany had a large Jewish community before the rise of Hitlerism. After the Nazis were vanquished, few Jews remained. Of late, Angela Merkel has tried to show how humanitarian today's Germans are by importing millions of Muslim "refugees". Many of these refugees hate Jews as much as the Nazis ever did. Today, a synagogue was attacked in Germany. Germany now has a very small Jewish population who are now considering fleeing while they still have their lives.

This Is Obstruction?

Any effort by President Trump to defend himself or the prerogatives of the Presidency and the executive branch are being called "obstruction" by the Democrats and the mainstream media. President Trump has no right to due process or even to defend himself in the kangaroo court of impeachment. The Democrats orchestrating this sham and their press lapdogs are proving to the world they have no fealty to the Constitution or even the rule of law.

Betraying the Kurds

The United States is leaving our allies the Kurds to the mercy of Turkey. Turkey will not differentiate between Kurds who fought ISIS in Syria and Kurds who resisted Turkish aggression. Turkey will throttle all Kurds. The Kurds have been the infantry on the ground, doing the fighting and dying so American troops would be spared. Now, we are abandoning our friends, the Kurdish people, at the time they need us most.

The Impeachment Crime

The only real crime involved in the impeachment of President Trump is the impeachment itself. No high crimes or misdemeanors have been committed by the President, but Trump can not do the work of the American people when he is under siege by the Democrats of the House of Representatives, who are not interested in the welfare of their constituents but are only interested in removing President Trump.

Obstacles and Obstruction

No previous President has been faced with obstacles and obstruction like this one. President Trump faced a unified opposition from Democrats who flattered themselves as the "resistance". Trump had and has cowards or turncoats like Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney betraying him in his own party. In spite of this and a Federal Reserve that also seemed determined to undercut him, his stewardship of the economy has been outstanding. Today's historic employment numbers further demonstrate that the President has the nation on the right track despite the efforts of so many to derail it in their effort to replace Trump.

Engineered to Crash

Of course, American stocks are tanking. This is precisely what the never-Trumpers want. The Democrat cabal in Washington and even some Republicans who hate Trump want to see you hurt and are convinced you will not blame them but will blame Trump for your market losses and/or your rapidly diminishing 401(k). Do not fall into their trap.

The Arson Party

Democrats seem perfectly willing to burn the country down to depose the greatest President since Reagan. Those against Trump are ready to send the economy spiraling just to ensure Trump can not secure a second term. There are some never-Trump Republicans who would go right along with these haters, but the primary plotters of this take-no-prisoners coup against the President are definitely the DemocRATS.

The Democrats staging the impeachment coup are absolutely delighted that they have destabilized US markets. These Democrats are more than just rooting for an economic crash. They are actively causing one in the service of ousting Trump, if not by impeachment, then by reversing all the gains his wise economic policy had been generating before Democrat machinations geared up. Remember these Democrats are deliberately harming our nation to advance their own ambitions.

I am transitioning into my next year today- no, not the Caitlyn Jenner kind of transitioning- just another year older. I once enjoyed the certitude of youth, then saw I was as prone to error as anyone else. I once thought death would not catch up to me and took some risks that could have killed me. I was sure I was going to achieve great things, but have not in the half century plus of being here. I used to think I knew what tomorrow would offer. Rushing to Defend?

Why are Republican politicians not rushing out to say not just "no" but "HELL NO" to impeachment? I am shocked, indeed even disgusted, that so few GOP politicians are stepping up to defend our President. When the guilty Bill Clinton got away with his crimes, virtually every public Democrat rose to his defense. Now, Trump's party is strangely hesitant to put their necks on the line beside the President's, even though it is obvious Trump has never committed a high crime or misdemeanor.

The Samson Election

Virtually every Democrat and some never-Trump Republicans are willing to see the edifice that is our nation torn down, just to see Trump not achieve reelection. These haters would gladly send the nation into recession, to cause Trump to lose. The problem with that is a recession would bring great upheaval and could turn into a depression, but the Trump-haters do not care.

Just Like Clinton?

The major difference between Bill Clinton and President Trump is that Clinton was GUILTY. President Trump has never sullied the Oval Office by having sex with an intern. Trump did not commit perjury. Trump did not create a "charitable" foundation to rake in millions and then use almost none of it on charity. Bill Clinton deserved his impeachment while Trump is facing it only because he won the Presidency.

I do not know what our new elected officials will do to us but do know that the departing representatives really wore out their welcome. On Hurricane Preparedness

Everyone should take common sense steps to ready themselves in anticipation of a natural disaster. Unfortunately, by the time a hurricane is bearing down on you, it may be too late to take these steps as emergency supplies are almost always sold out when they are needed most. The best way to survive a hurricane is to get out of its way. Yes, you may sustain property damage or even loss, but you are much more likely to escape injury if you move many miles away from the coast as a hurricane is striking it. Your life is always worth more than your property, because only your life is irreplaceable.

Rooting for Catastrophe

Over sixteen million Americans served in the military to save the world during the Second World War. By the time the draft churned up in earnest for Americans to serve in Vietnam, there were numerous legal ways for young American men to be exempted from service, though the poor and uneducated found it difficult to escape the draft without fleeing to Canada. I have read that in our all-volunteer military less than two percent of Americans chose to serve. Yet, millions of chicken-hawks want America to fight just about everyone else in the world. They would never don the uniform of the country themselves, nor encourage their blood-relations to join up, but they are eager to have folks they don't know die for our country. I deplore what Red China is doing to Hong Kong (and incidentally to Tibet, the Fulan Gong, Muslims, Christians, and anyone else who does not instantly bow to the demands of the despotic government). I hate the fanatic mullahs in Iran who threaten the existence of Israel as well, but I recognize that these are not American fights. The worst thing the warmongers in the US can do is to tell people to pick a fight somewhere under the expectation that we will or even can help, and then leave those who are dying for our values to their own fate. We did this to an extent in Hungary in 1956, in the failed Bay of Pigs invasion, and again in 1968 to Czechoslovakia. Don't tell people you "have their back" in a fight to the death and then only offer to hold their coats.

Greater the Peril

Iran wants to create an arsenal of nuclear weapons to dominate the Middle East, threaten the world, and wipe out the Jewish State. Israel is ready to give the Islamic Republic nuclear weapons, but not in the way Iran wants. Israel has long had atomic weapons but has chosen not to use them unless the survival of the Jewish State is imperiled. Iran seeks to do just that- attack Israel in an effort at genocide. "Never again" is not a slogan in Israel. It is a steely determination to do whatever is necessary to do to overcome those who would try to destroy the Jewish people, accompanied by the military means to achieve that end.

When I was in elementary school, boys did not play with dolls until the appearance of GI Joe and later the Six Million Dollar Man "action figures". Today, I sometimes see parents handing their boys Barbie dolls or even porcelain princesses. Somehow, I do not think the boys playing with toys previously enjoyed almost solely by girls are going to be growing up to be cowboys, lumberjacks, policemen, firefighters, soldiers, or pro football players. They are more likely to end up as hairdressers or interior designers.

When I was growing up, many elementary school boys were fascinated with dinosaurs. I do not think many, if any girls at all, shared that interest in dinosaurs back then (the early seventies). I have a toddler daughter who absolutely adores dinosaurs. I do not know if it is cartoons, all the marketing around the Jurassic Park franchise, a combination of those, or something else, but she is fast becoming an expert on the creatures that roamed the earth millions of years before man. I am glad though that something has sparked an interest in learning.

Over the years, scientists have sought ways to manipulate the weather. Some did ponder launching a nuclear weapon to break up a hurricane but quickly dismissed the idea, as it would almost certainly NOT stop the hurricane but cause it to spread massive amounts of radiation. The fake news claimed that President Trump wants to nuke hurricanes. The President denies this, and that is good enough for me.

Battle Fighter's Take

Those who have been in combat, suffered wounds, had comrades die in their arms, certainly never want to fight another war. Without freedom, you can not have true peace. You have slavery. The people of Hong Kong do not want to live on their knees. They are willing to fight against oppression by the Red Chinese. Israel may have to fight for survival against Iran. Neither of those fights involve America. When we were attacked on September 11,2001, that definitely became our fight. Question of Loyalty

Long before the creation of the modern State of Israel, Jew-haters questioned the allegiance of Jews to their native lands. The Dreyfus Affair is a glaring example of how Jews were regarded as "disloyal" and conspiratorial. Bolshevism was often blamed on the Jews though Jews suffered as much as any group under the Communist regime. The Jew is rarely regarded as fully integrated in any country outside of Israel, and all too often considered the "other" to the extent that Jews are blamed for every societal ill. President Trump does not see Jews as foreign or hostile but as family. Trump has done more for the Jewish State than any other Gentile. Trump deserves a great deal of gratitude from Jews who love Zion, but is disappointed that many Jews place their attachment to left-wing causes above all else. Trump's statement about "loyalty" of Jews is different in scope and kind from the accusations of anti-Semites. The anti-Semite is driven by hatred, while President Trump by his actions, clearly demonstrates a deep and abiding love of the Jewish people.

The Silent Majority

The resistance makes a lot of noise. Those who support President Trump have a lot more votes. The Trump-haters are disproportionately represented in the media. Almost everyone in the mainstream media displays open contempt for the President, which makes it seem ninety-plus percent of the people hate the fellow in the Oval Office. I think folks are afraid of the backlash they would be subjected to if they openly admit they back our President, but in the privacy of the voting booth, they are certain to vote for Trump.

Syria Versus Turkey

Syrian aircraft just attacked a Turkish column on Syrian territory near the border these countries share. The Syrians are trying to reassert control over part of the land that the Syrian regime claims has been occupied by terrorists. The Syrian Assad regime is evil incarnate on earth and is propped up by the equally bad Iran and the troublemaker Russia. Turkey's intentions are not entirely benevolent either, as the Turks want to crush Kurdish aspirations toward statehood. Turkey, being a NATO ally, could end up bringing in involvement by Western European military forces. The United States is already in Syria. The new fighting could spark a wider regional war or even a world war.

Standing Against Fascists

Watching the events in Portland, I have come to some conclusions. The Proud Boys are like the Minutemen of Lexington and Concord. They are standing up to protect the freedoms of speech and assembly that are enshrined in the US Constitution. They are fighting for our rights to think what we want and not be censored and bullied into a 1984 or Brave New World America. It is the so-called anti-fascists of Antifa who want to block gatherings and stop speech with which they disagree. Antifa is happy to visit violence on those with whom they disagree and ready to try to strip away our Constitutional rights.The Proud Boys are affirming liberty for all while Antifa seeks to steal our freedom. Antifa are the real fascists while the Proud Boys are true patriots.

Every Jew knows what Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are. They are the Cossacks coming for the pogrom. They are the SS goosestepping into the ghetto. Even Kapos like Bernie Sanders know what the objectives of these Jew-haters are. Sanders simply agrees with them as a Jew who like George Soros hates his own people. A Problem Customer?

The main issue I have with business today is that a customer with a problem has become "a problem customer". The tight labor market has exacerbated this because even a bad employee now seems more valuable than a good customer. "Now hiring" signs appear at virtually every business in my home town of Nashville. A business needs warm bodies to function, even if some of these employees turn out to be rude or incompetent. Customers, particularly in a tourist town, are a dime a dozen. An employee has to be quite the customer repellent to be fired here at the moment in Music City.

Do Rules Apply?

For your Prince Andrew and your Bill and Hillary, the laws that apply to you mean absolutely nothing. It is the folks unfortunate enough to know about the wrongdoing of these super-elite who seem to come to untimely ends. These people can do virtually anything without consequence. Some might say they can get away with murder. Some even claim they already have.

Calling on Britain

It is perhaps not remarkable that President Trump has not taken a harder stance against the brutal crackdown on the freedom-loving people of Hong Kong. Trump is trying to sustain an unprecedented level of prosperity in the United States and does not want to further spike the prices of imports to America from our largest source of consumer goods, after already pushing Red China in a tariff battle. President Trump is not going to wage a shooting war for a distant former British territory, so the people of Hong Kong have to seek other nations to support their struggle for liberty. Since Hong Kong was formerly a British Crown Colony until 1997, the silence of the United Kingdom in reaction to the crushing of dissent by the Red Chinese is somewhat mystifying. Boris Johnson could at least speak up to demand restraint of the part of the Communist thugs. No country seems to be willing to bleed for Hong Kong, but at least, some of the Western countries, particularly the UK, could speak up for freedom.

Calling Out Cuomo

A CNN anchor who almost no one watches and who is only on the air due to the fame and political success of his late father and his brother went wild after a minor insult. Chris Cuomo could not stand to face what conservative college students, who are not public figures, face every day. If Cuomo can not face scrutiny or criticism without blowing a gasket, perhaps he should retire from the public eye.

The Other Option

If President Trump goes along with restricting gun rights as I am certain he will, that does not mean we Constitutional conservatives are suddenly going to vote for the Democrat candidate for President or even the Libertarian choice. We may just sit out the election which will likely be enough to make the Democrat nominee our President rather than seeing Trump secure his second term. Anything that saps enthusiasm away from those who were formerly Trump's most fervent supporters is likely enough to see him lose his bid for reelection. By restricting our Second Amendment rights, Trump is forfeiting his second term.

Trump's Mixed Bag

I love the fact that President Trump has cut taxes and regulation. I appreciate that Trump is trying to secure the border. I see the President is not eager to start new military adventures or expand old ones (though I realize some things are worse than war). I am in principle a free trader but recognize true free trade must be fair trade, so I stand with the President on tariffs. I hate the fact that the President has continued to expand Obama's uncontrolled debt. I am saddened that President Trump does not revere our natural rights the way Reagan did. I am alarmed that Trump is no Constitutional conservative but a populist or even a demagogue who is glad to shift from campaign pledges when popular opinion changes. I will vote for Donald Trump in 2020 because the Democrat Presidential candidates are open border socialists at this point. I knew Ted Cruz was the authentic conservative and the genuine backer of gun rights in the last Presidential primary and I voted for him, but gladly backed Trump over Hillary. I will do so again, albeit with some reservations when he wins his second term.

With the (predictable) death of Jeffrey Epstein, the Clintons skate yet again. A big fish will now never have the chance to rat out even bigger fish in the corruption that seems to follow Bill and Hillary like the aroma that hovers around a skunk. If you must wage a trade war or a shooting war, it is absolutely necessary to win. You can not fight with half measures if your economy, your freedom, or your lives are at stake. You must be as ruthless as necessary to prevail. Red China and Iran demonstrate every moment that they are not constrained by morality or even humanity. The United States has to utterly defeat these malign forces of oppression and evil for our own survival and so that liberty does not perish from this earth.

No Possible Justification

Anyone who murders the innocent has consigned themselves to eternal fire. They may come up with excuses for the slaughter, but nothing they say mitigates their evil. They must be punished swiftly and with certainty to deter anyone who might try to duplicate their awful actions.

Marianne Williamson is likely right that a "dark psychic force" has been unleashed on America. I think she is dead wrong that the source is President Trump. Lies that man-caused climate change give us twelve or maybe only ten years to save the earth cause great distress, especially among people teetering on the edge of instability. Race hustlers like Al Sharpton and all the Democrat candidates pushing for "reparations" divide us even more. Donald Trump has done nothing but try to bring America together while others try to rouse us against each other so much that we are at each other's throats.

America has enjoyed unprecedented prosperity because of President Trump. He has fought headwinds never before experienced by any US President. Not only have the courts, the media, and the opposition party done all they can to obstruct the Trump agenda, many members of his own party have secretly or even openly tried to thwart Trump as well. Even the man that President appointed to run the Federal Reserve seems bent on making sure Trump does not win reelection. Until the end of this trading week, the markets withstood all of the tactics the anti-Trumpers employed to knock US stocks down. Then the Fed Chairman had to open his mouth in a way to break Trump by crashing our markets. Alan Greenspan or even Paul Volcker would never have interfered in politics in such a blatant way. I have said recently that the US was enjoying an unprecedented recovery. That resurgence may well be over because of Jerome Powell's devastating remarks.

"Scientists" are about to create a human-rat hybrid, according to a story linked on Drudge. I would contend that combination already exists in large numbers. The hybridized creature walking among us is called a "politician".

A New Tiananmen

As Red China gathers the forces to massacre the freedom-loving people of Hong Kong, the world sits silent. Great Britain, who held Hong Kong as a crown colony, is cowed by the Communist superpower. We have a Creator so loving as to have given us free will. We have the choice if we want to sin. We also have the option not to go against our Lord. Any American who has had to deal with foreign call centers in all likelihood never wants to deal with them again, and many are willing to pay more to avoid it. Decades ago, I had my first encounters with outsourced technical support, having to interact with contemptuous folks in India, who automatically presumed I was an idiot and who all too often were incomprehensible on the phone. Later, I found interacting with the Philippines was almost as bad, though the employees there seemed less arrogant. I feel like I have won the lottery when I actually reach US call support. I would gladly pay a premium for a product to ensure that it uses only American call centers. I think many other American consumers would gladly pay more as well to have quick answers by people who are easily understood. I often never make a purchase again from a company once I realize that they have taken jobs away from my countrymen and caused me headaches by directing calls to them to foreign shores.

Selling More Frustration

Walmart has more physical retail locations by far than anyone else. Visiting them may well bring savings versus other retailers. Online, you may save too, but dealing with Walmart sometimes makes the DMV look warm and inviting. The in-store associates are all too often the opposite of welcoming and helpful. Internet purchases from Walmart are complicated by calls that are often routed offshore, where your satisfaction as a customer seems a very peripheral concern at best. I am lucky to be in a position to shop virtually anywhere, but I still like a bargain. It is no bargain though if you want to tear your hair out by the roots after dealing with Walmart.

Our Unprecedented Prosperity

America is enjoying a stock market that keeps surpassing all-time highs. The United States is enjoying statistical full employment. African-Americans and Hispanic-Americans are enjoying their highest levels of employment ever along with the highest wages they have ever earned. The fifteen dollar minimum wage Democrats have been pushing is irrelevant because the average starting wage under President Trump has surged to twenty-two dollars an hour. America has never had it better and President Trump, by lowering taxes and decreasing regulation, is the person who deserves most of the credit.

Endless Loop Impeachment

The members of Congress who despise Trump are oblivious to the disaster that was the Mueller hearing and everything else except their blind rage against the President. The performance of the Democrats is embarrassing but not to them, because they have no shame.

Job of Congress

I always thought the function of members of the United States House of Representatives was to represent their constituents while enhancing peace and prosperity. The Democrats in Congress could not care less about this. They want to impeach or defeat President Trump beyond all else. They hate Trump and despise the country as it was founded. They are determined to block Trump, no matter how logical his proposals are or how much good he is doing.

The Conspiracy Unravels

Robert Mueller did not drive the last nail in the coffin of the Trump administration the way Trump opponents wanted. Trump came away unscathed as Mueller looked doddering at his best moment and like a deer in the headlights through the entire proceeding. Mueller knew less about the case he purportedly assembled than many casual observers who have only gathered details on the case through the media. The entire effort could be called a hoax against President Trump, except it is far too malicious to call a hoax with stakes that are far too high.

Voting Our Hopes

We just "early voted" in Nashville's election. I have been disappointed too often by politicians who say one thing to win votes and then do the opposite after they are elected. I hope the candidates I voted for are true to their word and do not tax us out of my hometown.

Destroying All Morality

The Left has banished prayer and attempted to chase God from schools in America. They have put out the welcome mat for perversion. These mis-educators have ushered in gender confusion. War is the natural state of man. In all of human history, only a few decades have not been visited by active conflict. From when Cain slew Abel, the human race has been trying to erase itself. Now, with the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, humanity actually has the means to that end. Murder, war, and killing will never cease, until the human race is extinguished. I differentiate between murder and killing because murder is wrong while killing is sometimes necessary to thwart evil. War can be either good or evil. A war of aggression is bad. A defensive war is not. World War II is the perfect example of a great good emerging from violence. It took force to wipe out Hitlerism and stop the spree of conquest by Japan. Without war, every Jew on earth would likely be dead. All of Asia would be under the boot of the Empire of Japan. I do not want my country shedding blood anywhere, but I would rather eliminate the threat of Iran becoming a Middle Eastern Nazi Germany now, than see Israel wiped out once Iran has their nukes.

The left-wingers that dominate the entertainment industry are determined to spend hundreds of millions of dollars making absurd movies that virtually no one will pay to see. The folks that make the James Bond franchise are planning to kill off their audience by making the next James Bond with a black female lead as the iconic male British spy that Ian Fleming turned into one of the most watched MEN in the world. Natalie Portman is now going to be starring as a female Thor, in an absolutely laughable casting choice. The Oceans heist movies have been ruined by the female ensemble replacing more entertaining male performers. Hollywood is killing its own box office and I couldn't be happier to see liberals squandering their own clout.

Not Backing Down

Iran will never back down until they (the mullah leadership) are beat down or removed. It is not simply a matter of national or religious pride. It is a matter of devotion to an apocalyptic faith that the world must be brought into violent chaos to bring forth a sort of salvation for believers in the 12th Imam, who in their twisted theology has been hiding in a well for over a thousand years. Nancy Pelosi is an old-line liberal, but she knows that America is not ready for Marxism just yet. Facebook sent me a survey today. I find it hard to believe that out of hundreds of friends sharing their political opinions, only around a half dozen support our President. Another major earthquake just hit Southern California. It was even larger than the previous quake. I woke up today with a great sense of relief. I realized if America had lost her revolution, I would be British, a horror too terrible to even contemplate. Governor John Hickenlooper has not raked in millions for his Presidential campaign. He is a liberal Democrat but is just too far to the right for the radicalized Democrat Party. He would have been called left of moderate in 2016, but now he is just too centrist for the AOC Party. How far left have these Democrats gone? They have almost left the country but would fit in great in Havana.

Some fringe candidates who will never be elected President are raising enormous sums. That is nice for them, but you have to remember, President Trump (the billionaire) can outspend whatever they raise by writing a check to his own campaign.

About half of the Democrat Presidential aspirants held a debate last night. I did not watch because I do not care. There is another debate tonight for the Democrats in their huge and unwieldy field of more than twenty and I won't be watching this one either. At Least Trying

President Trump has been afflicted with Republicans like the late John McCain, Paul Ryan, and is now saddled with Mitt Romney. I have no doubt that if Trump could rule by edict, that he would do the right thing by the American people. Unfortunately, the President has to deal with turncoats in his own party and now, a Democrat House of Representatives that has thrown up a brick wall to everything Trump proposes to help America. These Democrats are glad to have Americans fail just to deny the President any accomplishment.

Willing to Overlook

Many who voted for President Trump are willing to overlook his failures (border wall and Iran) so long as the economy remains so strong. Heaven forbid there is an economic slowdown for Trump. If the US slides into recession, there is no way Trump will be reelected.

Those Truthful Politicians

How many politicians tell the truth? How many keep their promises, or even try to keep them? I think President Trump has tried to honor his pledges more than most officeholders but even he has failed. Trump at least is trying but if he fails to deliver, how much different is he than the other politicians who lie to our faces.

Tired of Winning

I am "tired of winning" the unabated flow of ill-educated foreigners that President Trump has welcomed into America. I am tired of the narcotics and disease they bring with them. Ann Coulter was one of President Trump's most fervent supporters. Then, Coulter described precisely the way in which the President let her, his own voters, and the nation down. I had hoped Coulter was wrong or at least premature in her judgement. It now seems as the President continues to puff but illegal aliens break through in unprecedented numbers and Iran marches forward with aggression and towards nuclear weapons that Ann Coulter was absolutely right. When Iran attacks US assets in international airspace, America must act militarily. If not, we are inviting escalating violence against us in the future and showing Iran that we are not serious about blocking their acquisition of atomic arms. Donald Trump is acting like a paper tiger at a time America needs our Churchill.

A rational person has an abiding interest in self-preservation. End-time fanatics are not constrained by this. They welcome death. Politicians have banned certain types of toilets, light bulbs, and now are increasingly banning plastic bags, all under the guise of protecting the environment. What these politicians are doing is not fighting global warming (which has never been caused by man) but denying us choice, which is robbing us of freedom. Any politician that votes to force consumers to buy a certain type of product or prohibits use of products that have been in our homes all our lives and generations before that should be voted out of office. Goodbye Dear Curry

Curry, the sweet Keeshond girl we were blessed to have in our lives since 2012, departed yesterday. We did not want to lose her with her courage, her humor, her devotion to her two boys Gizzy and Sage. Before her paralysis, she brightened any room, just by trotting in and nuzzling a knee. We will carry you in our hearts for the rest of our lives Curry.

Pray for Curry

Our brave, sweet little Keeshond girl stopped eating yesterday. Before we rescued her, she lost her front teeth chewing though a chain to be free. In the seven years we have known and loved her, she has had cancer four times and a stroke, and lost the ability to walk last year. This breed can be a nightmare on walks, refusing to turn to go home or deciding to take a rest in an intersection. Curry never did any of that. She was a pleasure to walk and is a joy to have as part of the family. Please pray for Curry.

There will almost certainly be no D-Day veterans left at the hundredth anniversary. There were already very few left at the seventy-five year commemoration. All these troops did was save the world. It is incredibly important to preserve the recollections of the remaining survivors who were more than eyewitnesses to history. They made the history that saved our liberty and our lives.

I was sickened to hear Crowder has been demonetized from YouTube, but was not surprised. Those who can not compete in the battle of ideas stifle the better argument when they have the power. The Perfect Leader

The perfect leader does not exist. Every single one of us has feet of clay. We are all sinners. No matter how great the abilities of a given individual are, it is certain that person has imperfections to go along with their strengths. In fact, some people blessed with fantastic gifts are cursed with an overweening pride because they realize just how exceptional they are. Certainly, President Trump has a huge ego to match his "huge" accomplishments. Remember the works that Trump does as President are not meant to elevate him but to elevate you.

They are willing to spark chaos to harm the President and this ultimately harms the nation.

The Impeachment Trap

I believe fair-minded people will be just as disgusted by attempts to impeach a President who has committed no crimes as they were with the hoax that Judge Kavanaugh was a rapist. The anti-Trump faction will not let go of the collusion/obstruction hoax because with the outstanding job our President is doing, they have no other way to attack Trump. This cabal to oust the President will ultimately fail and hopefully those orchestrating it will lose their power.

Robert Mueller as it turns out is not the humble and objective public servant he was portrayed to be. Some said Mueller was the "most honest man in Washington" prior to his attempt to initiate the impeachment of President Trump. Mueller has now proven himself to be no more than an anti-Trump partisan perfectly willing to cause untold damage to the nation just to harm President Trump. Mueller would gladly have the nation forfeit relative peace and prosperity just to ensure that the elite remove the outsider President and that no challenger to the deep state (that Mueller is a part of) ever rises again.

The Obama-Clinton coup against our President continues, aided by deep state elitists and some never-Trump Republicans. Prosecutor Strongly Biased

If a prosecutor does not charge a subject of an investigation, he should not then drag that person down by keeping the sword of suspicion over his head. A Memorable Holiday

I took my four year old daughter complete with Speedo buoyancy swimwear and water wings to a neighborhood Memorial Day Party. She has had some swimming lessons, but without the "floaty assistance" can not actually swim yet. Still, she did a great job under close supervision of navigating the whole pool and had a great time. My worry though is the false confidence she may have around water when she is not wearing "floaty gear". A few more lessons though and she may actually have swimming down pat. Anyway, watching her make her way through the water was a joy.

Always Worth Remembering

Every single person who laid down their lives for our freedom should never be forgotten, especially on Memorial Day. My Aunt Redi lost her first husband on a B-24 in World War II. Our liberty does not belong to us alone but to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to preserve it.

World Without Borders

People who embrace the concept of abolishing borders are gullible and in sufficient numbers, dangerous. Those in favor of abolishing the nation-state have not reached the only possible conclusion that a one world government would be one that does not resemble the United States, a representative republic, but which would be totalitarian like the old USSR or Red China. Jet travel was going to open the doors to peace by literally bringing the world closer together. How is that working out? You can now leave a country where an epidemic is raging and be in a nation where heretofore nobody was afflicted in a few hours. If you are of a malign mindset, you can fly one of those jets into a crowded building, but that would never happen- right?

I have been to some nationally known steakhouses and had some good steaks there. I enjoyed a steak at humble Cracker Barrel last night that held its own with the great American steak restaurants. It was the twelve ounce sirloin and it was terrific.

Up with Infrastructure

President Trump is one hundred percent right to tell Democrats to "go pound sand" in the infrastructure improvement meeting that had been scheduled and usher them out. It is not that roads, bridges, and many other elements do not need improvement. They do, but President Trump can not make deals with backstabbers and vipers Schumer and Pelosi who are determined to bring him down.

Worthy of Removal

President Trump should stay in office two full terms. All the witless traitors in Congress screaming for Trump's impeachment should be voted out of office.

Theater of Maniacs

Those who want to kill the nation's goose that lays the golden eggs by impeaching the President that has created the most economic success for our nation are beyond the theater of the absurd. They are downright destructive of our prosperity. Even if they win, they lose. Are they all fired up about making Mike Pence (who is far more naturally conservative than Donald Trump) President if impeachment somehow succeeds? My home state US Congressman Steve Cohen is itching to get the impeachment ball rolling. He is also a mortification to ninety percent of Tennesseans outside his district. Impeachment with a nation mostly at peace and roaring with prosperity makes absolutely no sense.

The Good Fight

My father-in-law, who treated me better than most, just succumbed after a thirteen plus year battle with a lung cancer with a zero percent five year survival rate. He fought a helluva fight against an opponent who always ultimately wins. Irvin J "Sonny" Steinberg was a mensch and a gentle man. He is and will be missed and his memory will be a blessing.

Nation of Industry

A guaranteed basic income is the best way to sap initiative and take away the desire to work among some people. Why support yourself or your family if the state will pay you to do nothing? This idea is a festering sore on the back of achievement. It is beyond Marxism as Communist countries made you do something for your daily bread. Reinforcing and subsidizing sloth and failure by paying people for indolence is a great way to destroy a nation. Hard work and smart, dedicated workers make America great.

The American Colossus

Donald Trump is not ashamed of America's past or our power. Trump has restored US prestige. Trump will not kowtow to enemies or bend to so-called "allies". Our President will always and only place America first.

Shoulders of Giants

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abe Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, and Donald Trump are Presidents who built our great country or preserved the nation as it was founded. In the case of our current President, Trump has slapped back the forces that had almost succeeded in the fundamental transformation of our nation. Trump is a giant in regard to his patriotism and his determination to protect everyday Americans against the machinations of the elite.

Pantheon of Greatness

President Trump should not only rank as one of our greatest Presidents, he is one of the great world leaders of all-time. Donald Trump is right there with Ronald Reagan and Winston Churchill as leaders who recognized a looming danger to the world and had the courage to confront and defeat it.

Into the Well

I have an idea for the mullahs that enslave the Iranian people. Go jump in the well with the Twelfth Imam. You will have your personal end time while sparing the world from conflagration.

Not Finishing Last

In a trade war or a shooting war, the ultimate goal must be to vanquish your opponent. You can not afford defeat in a trade war because that would mean your economy will be ruined. You can not tolerate a loss it a shooting war because that would mean slavery or death. President Trump is indeed a risk taker, but he is also a winner. I am going to stick with Donald Trump, a leader with the backbone to do all that it takes to win.

Of Course Retaliation

Did anyone really think a country that steals trade secrets, uses slave labor, and manipulates currency really would not raise tariffs against America after the US raised tariffs on their goods? Red China was bound to strike back. That in no way means that President Trump is not exactly right. We are finally fighting a trade war that has been necessary for decades, and President Trump will use it to break Red China. If we stay the course with Donald Trump, the United States will win.

Iran Versus America

Iran apparently wants to use proxies to attack Americans or our allies in the Middle East. Iranian tentacles may hit US forces in Syria or Iraq. Iran may use Houthis to hit US interests from Yemen. Iran has threatened to cut off the strategic Straits of Hormuz. If any of these attacks happen, whether by Iran or someone acting for the Tehran regime, the United States must declaw the expansionist, aggressive mad mullahs who have enslaved the Iranian people since the fall of the Shah before they attain nuclear weapons and do unimaginable damage.

Titans of Tech

Most of the billionaires that control virtually all of the Internet are horrible, amoral, or downright immoral people. They despise the values of the heartland and want to silence folks who advocate traditional morality. Oddly, they also tend to be in bed with fundamentalist Islam, the least tolerant force on this planet. Facebook and Twitter may be a good way to keep up with old friends and gauge public opinion, but they are so full of corruption that they could make a sewer rat gag.

Not So Super

Neither of the now traded ride-share services have done well on Wall Street. I am not saying they will never be hot stocks or highly profitable companies, but it certainly has not happened yet for Lyft or the new issue Uber.

Stifling Trump's Recovery

All Democrats in DC and (perhaps surprisingly) some Republicans still want to crash the US economy to deny Donald Trump a second term. A Republican Senator from South Carolina is so bitter that he has subpoenaed Donald Trump Junior to testify before his committee. Someone like this RINO hates the Trump family so much that he would gladly permit an economic recession to overtake America to facilitate a takeover by President Joe Biden who would make the economy even worse.

Expelling the Beast

If you want to be forever free from the Mark of the Beast turn off your social media and unplug any device that connects you to the sewer known as the Internet. That would obviously include turning off this blog. I will miss you as a reader but you will be better off. I can not sever my ties to technology as my income relies upon it. I do not want to wear that Mark for all eternity or even a second and yearn for the day that I too can disconnect from the devil's playground.

The Stalking Beast

The tech companies, including Amazon, and the banks are instituting some real mark of the beast stuff. Consumers in the United States have not yet been forced to accept surveillance devices into their homes, but for the convenience of making purchases more easily, many folks are inviting corporations into their homes to spy on them. Financial institutions are cutting off access to accounts to people they find controversial and businesses that suddenly offend them, like gun stores. We have a choice now to reject these intrusions but will not have any alternative later. President Trump must break up the tech monopolies now to stop the stripping of our privacy and must regulate the banks to guarantee every citizen the right to buy and sell, regardless of the political opinions they hold.

Restore Israel's Deterrence

The Jewish State should not accept a ceasefire that leaves wanton attackers in power and mostly unpunished. Israel sustained hits by over 700 rockets. At least four Israelis were murdered in this barrage. If the IDF does not overthrow the terrorists running Gaza, they must weaken them to the extent that they would not dare launch another attack. It does not seem though that Israel will do what is necessary to stave off future waves of lethal rockets.

An Incessant Barrage

The civilian population of Israel has been subjected to an attack by more than 650 rockets from Gaza over the last two days. At least three Jews, noncombatants, have had their lives snuffed out. Israel has no choice but to respond with force sufficient to end the attacks. Much of the world will condemn the Jewish State whatever the IDF does, but with President Trump at the helm in Washington, Israel will enjoy a freedom of action it has never before had to defeat the terrorists.

Israel Under Fire

The terrorists that control Gaza, backed by their Iranian sponsors, have lobbed more than one hundred rockets at the civilian populace of the Jewish State. Now is the time the IDF must be unleashed to crush the jihadsts and free the poor oppressed Palestinians in Gaza from the grasp of Iran's tentacles.

An Economic Genius

President Trump has done the greatest job ever strengthening the economy of any US leader. Trump is wise enough to know that if you keep government and bureaucrats out of the economy, you give the free enterprise system the room to grow broad-based prosperity for everyone willing to work. There are now more jobs available to Americans than there are folks to fill them. Wages are rising. Ronald Reagan was fantastic at stimulating growth but Donald Trump is even better!

Hiding Behind Veil

Around half a billion women wear the Islamic veil. The vast majority only have love and charity in their hearts. A few like Ilhan Omar use their religious garbs and their protestations of faith to spread hatred, not restricted to despising other faiths but apparently extending to a hatred of whites, particularly white men. This kind of prejudice must be exposed and publicized until Omar loses her seat in Congress. Omar's own words must be used against her.
