Is Israel bigger than Netanyahu? I would say at particular times in history, a person emerges who transforms the course of world events. Winston Churchill was one such titan of history. I believe Benjamin Netanyahu is another. Netanyahu saw, warned, and fought against the rise of Islamist terrorism. He replaced the socialism crippling Israel's economy with free market principles that unleashed unprecedented prosperity. He reached out to the Sunni states, especially Saudi Arabia, to highlight the danger posed by Iran. No leader, not even Ben-Gurion, has advanced the interests of Israel or done more for the safety of the Jewish people than Benjamin Netanyahu, yet like Winston Churchill at the conclusion of World War II, Netanyahu is about to lose power.
