Terror Targets Tunisia

Tunisia is not blessed with vast oil reserves, like Saudi Arabia or Libya. Tunisia's economy is much more dependent on tourism than the oil-rich states. When Islamists attack an internationally-renowned tourist destination, they are damaging Tunisia far more than the physical destruction they inflict. The Islamic State has "taken credit" for the massacre. What these terrorists have achieved is scaring off thousands of foreign visitors whose spending sustains much of the commerce of Tunisia. These thugs acting under the color of Islam have hurt the many believing Muslims whose incomes are contingent on serving foreign visitors to Tunisia.
