An Authentic Conservative

Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz declared his intention today to seek the Presidency of the United States. Cruz is a logical inheritor of the legacy of Ronald Wilson Reagan. This is not to say Cruz is the only candidate who could carry the mantle of Reagan. Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is equally conservative. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is also on the right but more libertarian than the aforementioned candidates and America's fortieth President. Any of these candidates would be better for the country than anyone the Democrats might offer or moderate Republican Jeb Bush.
