A tax imposed in the name of a far away king was important enough that Americans launched a revolution over it. There is no chance that today there would be a tax revolt in the United States. In fact, eighty-seven thousand new IRS agents are on the way to put the screws to the American people, not "billionaires" as the regime stated or even millionaires, but ordinary working Americans because that number of new agents is well beyond what would be needed to go after rich people. Is a border important? No more than locking the door to your motel room when you visit Watts. Is giving Biden a free hand to spend, spend, spend a significant way to help the American people? No, it is more an invitation to inflation and eventually hyperinflation that destroys nations and people. It is important to have a secure home where you have a viable means of protecting your family in a country with secure borders where you are free to speak your mind and permitted to keep what you earn and your money holds its value.
