There are some great sales today as part of Memorial Day promotions, but this holiday is not about that. It is about the folks that died defending or nation. My family does not usually spend much time shopping on Memorial Day because we are busy remembering our cousin Ralph Shepard killed in World War II and my uncle Nathan "Ned" Hatkoff whose B-24 was lost coming back to England following a bombing raid. There is nothing wrong with saving a dollar but please don't forget what today is meant to be about.
