If the deal for the Tennessee Titans new stadium only makes economic success if public funds are used, then it should not have been entered into because it hangs an obligation on taxpayers that has no benefit in their lives. If you live in Nashville or even Tennessee and are subsidizing this project, you will receive no free admission or even discount to events there. You are on the hook for the bill but enjoy none of the benefits, which are reserved for the billionaire owners who could have funded the new construction themselves, but found suckers to take all the risks while they pocket all the profits. I do not blame the billionaires for feathering their own lavish nests, but our politicians who sold out working folks yet again.
