Bloodbath in Egypt

Sadly, massive casualties serve the purpose of Morsi supporters who are more than willing to die to present the image of a brutal military coup that swept to power with force and is ruling through violence. Martyrs gladly trade their lives because they see it as service to Allah to bring the Muslim Brotherhood back into power. If the world is gulled into making the new Egyptian regime into a pariah, and exert enough international pressure that the Muslim fundamentalists return to control Egypt, the world will have created a Sunni version of the Shia horror state that is Iran. America and the West may have to bite their tongues and bide their time until enough of the Islamist furor is dissipated that secularists retain control of the mechanisms of power, even if it means many more are killed before Cairo returns to stability.
