Competence Trumps Charisma

Let's face it: Mitt Romney is not a compelling speaker. Romney does not rivet audiences like Reagan did or have the captivating turn of phrase of a William F. Buckley. Romney does seem though to be routinely competent which would a step up in the realm of Presidential leadership regarding the economy which should be the deciding issue in the November elections.
