Congressman Allen West, a Florida Republican, ruffled a lot of feathers recently when he claimed there are between seventy-eight(78)and eighty-one(81)Communists among the ranks of the US House of Representatives. Calumny issued forth such that one would surmise the seemingly brash statement West made has ended his prospects for higher office and perhaps his political career. West was so hotly denounced by the Left because he spoke the absolute, unvarnished truth.
