Time to Defy
In large swaths of Pakistan and Afghanistan and in parts of Somalia and now Mali, providing a girl an education or attempting to administer a life-saving vaccine could mean death. These acts become taboo because they constitute revolt against the Wahhab brand of Sunni Islam, and they demonstrate that it is necessary to subvert an order when it becomes tyrannical.
