Obama's Harriet Miers

George W. Bush presumed his friendship with his White House Counsel Harriet Miers qualified her to sit on the US Supreme Court. Enough of America disagreed to force the withdrawal of the controversial nomination. Barack Hussein Obama and Chuck Hagel are evidently friends but that in no way makes Hagel the appropriate choice to be America's Secretary of Defense. I have called both my US Senators to ask them to oppose Hagel for that position and I urge my American readership to do the same.
