Losing Sane Restraint

A small town in New York became the scene of drunken, destructive, injurious rioting inflicted on the community to celebrate a victory in a minor college football game. Law enforcement from across the state had to be deployed to calm the hooliganism. This collective misbehavior is sadly no anomaly. Urban youth across America have videoed themselves assaulting strangers in the so-called "knockout game". Some of those innocent victims have died from the punches. Urban predators have turned formerly innocent "flash mobs" that used to involve a seemingly spontaneous song or dance routine into orchestrated group theft in convenience stores and even larger retailers. We were once a country that held law and order in high esteem. Now chaos and anarchy seem to have seized the day.
