Stop the Fires

Keeping areas clear of dry underbrush might help contain the fires ravaging my home state of Tennessee. Clearing large firebreaks would also help. Attacking an ignition early also would be beneficial (although that might not be easy, as some of the fires are starting in remote and largely inaccessible areas before they spread). With winds as high as they have been, fighting the fire is exceptionally hard. That is why efforts should have been made before the fires ever started.
