Seventeen Game Season?

For dominant teams, the extension of the season by one game seems fine. Their fans have another opportunity to root them on to victory (hopefully). For teams that are merely competitive, their supporters have the suspense of an additional contest, but for teams like my home town Titans, the season can't end soon enough. Sixteen games are already too much if your team hardly ever wins any of them. 

The Titan Collapse

The Tennessee professional football team should replace the head coach because you can't realistically fire all the players. Their performance was abysmal Sunday hosting Cincinnati, and there were as many Bengal fans in attendance as home team supporters. Show me one aspect of improvement for the team this season. 

Never Say "Die"

This season's Tennessee Volunteer men's basketball team seems different. Many past squads looked spectacular, but when push came to shove, they just could not get it done. Last night at Illinois, playing a tough physical opponent (and their pet refs), the Vols somehow managed to still prevail after their two best players were fouled out. Former teams even under Coach Barnes had not been able to win under such dire circumstances, but this squad has the guts of a champion! 

No Air Force?

Where is the United States Air Force to intercept what are presumed to be large drones of uncertain origin popping up around the United States? This question must be answered, unless of course the drones are from some covert program within the American government and are being permitted to fly because they are part of our national defense. 

Other Foreign Power?

A Defense Department spokesperson assured Americans that what is being seen over New Jersey are not "Iranian drones". Did you note that our government did not declare absolutely that the objects being spotted now are not from a foreign source? The denial was not a blanket assurance but only limited to the drones not being from a mother ship sent by Iran. 

Syria's New Leader

The up and coming dictator of Syria who just replaced Assad, the despot of long-standing who fled the country, has copious amounts of American blood on his hands. The fact that the new great leader has (or perhaps "had") a ten million dollar reward on his head placed there by American authorities, did not stop the state Department from recognizing him as the legitimate head of Syria. I just love the way the Biden regime so easily casts off all decency in service of ridding all the moral underpinnings that heretofore kept order in the world. 

Iran in Retreat

The Islamic Republic is withdrawing its thugs from Syria. At the same time, Israel is vanquishing Iran's Hezbollah proxy in Lebanon. We had best remember though that a vicious animal is never more dangerous than when it is cornered, and the Mullah Regime has never felt more threatened than right now. 

Future for Syria

Syria has had bleak prospects for years, and it remains to be seen if the fall of Assad brightens that. Between the chances of an enlightened democracy or even a state that tolerates more than one strain of faith and a Sunni dystopia, the Middle East does not often spawn anything resembling a welcoming coexistence. My hope is this is what Syria becomes, but realistically, it has NO chance. 

Pity the Kurds

The Kurdish population of Syria may well be about to face an attempt at genocide by the Sunni butchers who have captured Damascus and their Turkish sponsor Erdogan. It is unlikely anyone will come to their aid. If they were near the Golan, the IDF would likely prevent them from being massacred, but most Kurds are unfortunately distant from where Israel could plausibly help them defend themselves. 

Edifices Are Falling

The Assad regime in Syria was under threat for more than a decade, but with the backing of Iran and Russia, seemed as permanent as death and taxes. Now, the Islamic Republic and Putin's playground are so weakened that they barely keep themselves in power and have been forced to cut loose their dictator friend in Damascus. The Deep State in America too is also under threat, but I fear even the mighty Trump can't bring it down. 

With Pants Down

On December 7, 1941, the United States was caught unaware and unprepared for what the Empire of Japan had been planning. There had been some speculation that Japan had intentions to respond to the pressure FDR was ratcheting up against Japanese aggression and conquest, and even an early radar sighting of the enemy flying in for the attack, but radar was a relatively new device and what was observed was discounted by higher ranks than the initial radar man and not passed on to the servicemen about to be attacked. Would a few minutes of extra warning prevented the massacre? Probably not entirely, but the defense would have been more vigorous and the casualties likely less. On September 11, 2001, America was again subjected to a surprise attack. Constant vigilance is required by our great nation. 

Prospects for DOGE

There is certainly plenty of fat that could be trimmed from the Federal Government. Even as I write, the cabal behind the Biden regime and the Deep State itself are placing obstacles up to the Department of Government Efficiency and entrenching themselves to keep Trump fro succeeding. You see, everyone from slackers who work for you but have not been in the office since COVID to certain Republican Senators, love the Swamp and hate the taxpayers. There may ultimately be some small cuts at the margins, but four years is likely not enough to drain the quagmire that enslaves Americans. 

A Brazen Murder

Would you want to visit New York City right now? You are not really allowed to defend yourself and your family there, and the authorities are not even protecting executives arriving for business meetings. 

Not Shaping Policy

In some Presidencies, the Cabinet is essential in governing the direction the nation will be headed. For Trump, the Cabinet will be for implementation of Forty-seven's own ideas and policy prescriptions. Do you see Trump deferring to anyone advising him over anything? 

Korea in Turmoil

South Korea has declared martial law. The leader has declared that North Korea has sympathizers within Seoul. Few doubt that there are Fifth Columnists there, but a cynic also realizes this crackdown will be a great way to remove opponents who have nothing to do with Pyongyang. 

Pardon Me Boy

To the surprise of almost nobody, corrupt and faded Joe pardoned his son and bag man Hunter Biden. I had thought senile Joe might resign in favor of Harris with the arrangement already made that Kamala would pardon all the criminal Bidens, but Alzheimer Joe could not wait apparently. The Bidens are a national disgrace and stain on the nation and world! 

Demon of Inflation

There is a restaurant chain in my home state of Tennessee that is somewhat similar to the more well-known White Castle that used to occasionally sell twenty square little burgers for one dollar even in my lifetime (fifty-eight years). When we drove past one of these eateries yesterday, Mom read the sign and said it was promoting "12 Krystals for just $14". I do not know if they were ever health food or even all that good, but they sure are not worth over a dollar apiece. From five cents a burger to one dollar and seventeen cents each is mighty testament to inflation run wild. 

Nobody Stays Lucky

When we moved in back in 2015, we had a neighbor who had made a relative fortune as a stockbroker. He had retired and was seemingly enjoying his golden years. On the few occasions we talked, he told me how "blessed" he was. I picked his brain for his thoughts on certain stocks or where he thought the market would go, but he was always cagey. He would tell me "you just have to stay lucky". The last time I spoke to him was around this season as I remember, when he said his wife had made "the most delicious turkey" for the holiday. Later that day, we heard he had choked on a sandwich (or more precisely, had choked, been saved by the fire department after his wife called 911, but then died of a heart attack). I could not help but think that even for the luckiest among us, eventually the luck runs out.  

A Durable Ceasefire?

Israel may be compelled, at least so long as the Biden-Harris regime continues, to stick to the so-called "ceasefire" with Hezbollah, even though that terrorist group has no intention of keeping it and has in fact already violated the terms. When Trump returns to the Presidency, the IDF may be freed to operate until victory. The cabal running and ruining America at the moment does plenty of damage worldwide and can't end soon enough. 

Love a Parade

My great aunt Pauline happened to own a condominium at 52 Central Park West that over looked the route of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, so I had the opportunity to enjoy the festivities in ways few have. It is certainly disheartening that this year's proceedings come with a terror warning. What sort of disgusting creatures would threaten a time of such joy and innocence? 

An Imposed Ceasefire

Hezbollah wanted a ceasefire badly, as they were losing. It is Israel that was winning who had the cessation forced on them by the Biden regime. Now, we shall see if the departing Biden fools also throw America's weight around to force Israeli defeat in Gaza as well. 

The Tariff King

If you are an American and want or need anything manufactured outside the United States, you had better buy it before Trump takes power because he has pledged the taxes on goods made abroad will commence on "Day One" of his second term. I had anticipated China-made goods and maybe even Mexico being subjected to tariffs as well since they have been flooding our nation with deadly Fentanyl and illegal aliens almost too numerous to count, but Forty-seven intends to include Canada as well, just because . . . Trudeau mostly. If you are intending to purchase stuff from there, do it now because it is about to become more expensive. 

Pardon That Turkey?

While faded Joe is pardoning the Thanksgiving turkey today, Biden should pardon the really large one, who frequented prostitutes and took illegal narcotics. It would be the ideal time to spare his son Hunter prison.  

Not Bear Bryant

The University of Alabama's head football coach may or may not turn out to be a good one and a great fit for the program, but it certainly did not look like one last night as the Crimson Tide were rolled up on by a decidedly underwhelming Oklahoma Sooner squad. Kalen DeBoer might be an innovator and brilliant football mind, but that wonderful combination is no guarantee of success at a particular institution which has a culture different than anywhere DeBoer actually enjoyed success. 

Consider the Source

Bitter warmonger John Bolton has just castigated President Trump's selection of Sebastian Gorka. Bolton called Gorka a "con man". I only pray Gorka serves brilliantly in his new role protecting America and freedom in the world, and that folks recognize how irrelevant Bolton has become. 

Already a Loss!

President Trump hoped we would win so much that Americans would almost tire of victory. In the event, during his first term, stumbling block after stumbling block was thrust in his way by . . . Republicans, and not just the late John McCain and Paul Ryan. Entering his second term, Trump has already faced defeat with Matt Gaetz being forced to withdraw because a number of Republican Senators would NOT back him. This is not only the repudiation of a potential Attorney General, but the man who just won the most votes of any Republican ever and most importantly, the millions of Americans that back Trump. You must understand that there is a large cadre of never Trump Congress members who do not just hate Forty-seven; they are Deep State creatures that really despise you every bit as much as any DemocRAT, and are determined to protect their Swamp. 

Civil Service Protections?

If the Department of Government Efficiency actually comes into being, will Trump really be able to "fire" certain Federal employees? I am aware some of them have entered their jobs through Civil Service and that makes it harder to terminate them. Will Trump and "DOGE" be overwhelmed with litigation should they trim those positions or even those that are not employed through Civil Service? 

The Bus Stops

Stupid voters in my hometown of Nashville approved a multi-billion dollar transportation plan with much of the focus dedicated to improving municipal buses. The Nashvillians who voted "yes" must not realize the more grandiose and expensive the government project is, the more potential there is for graft, kickbacks, and payoffs. That is horrible enough but since the election just two weeks back (November 5), there have been two murders at Nashville bus stops. This crime wave does not particularly seem like a selling point for Metro mass transit. I don't think a great slogan to improve ridership is "when you avail yourselves of our bus line, your chances of being murdered are less than one in a thousand", or "ride with us, you might even survive the return trip". 

America's Best Days

Obama wanted to lead America on an "elegant managed decline". That was interrupted by the first Trump term, but then Biden resumed the deliberate insipid wavering. Now, Forty-seven is going to show that the high-water mark of the United States is not behind us. 

America's Patriots Rejoice

Unlike Obama and Biden, Trump will not go around the world apologizing for the actions of the United States. There will be no "apology tours" under Forty-seven. The only sorrow-filled lamentations we will hear is enemies of freedom pleading for their lives. 

America's Enemies Tremble

Foreign countries and terrorists, that laugh at the Biden regime, are shaking in fear at the thought of Trump regaining power. They believed they had little to worry about with senile old Joe at the wheel but know Trump is a real leader and a serious threat. Forty-seven will not tolerate Houthis closing sea lanes near Yemen. If they fire on a US-flagged vessel after January 20, 2025, the American military will not launch a pin prick retaliation but wipe them from the face of the earth. 

Not Bowing Down

The incoming Trump administration will cease America's kowtow towards China. In fact, Trump is determined to strengthen the United States sufficiently that we will once again be able to back Red China into a corner and then step on the throat of the Chinese Communist Party. 

No Israel Ceasefire

The incoming US administration will not push the Jewish State to surrender but will instead give the IDF all the tools for victory that the Biden regime has been holding back. I do not know if it will be possible to rescue the hostages who happen to have survived so far, but I believe that their prospects for being returned safely to their families are better under Trump than they would have been if Harris had won. 

Cutting Off Ukraine?

Zelensky had better accept a settlement with Putin soon, because Trump will curtail US aid to the Ukraine faster than most imagine. The incoming forty-seventh President is not a Putin puppet, but he recognizes the level of corruption in Kyiv and will NOT continue to subsidize it. 

Really Good "DOGE"

Donald Trump wants to rid the Federal Government of bloat and waste. He will be appointing two laser focused business geniuses to lead that effort, his former rival Vivek Ramaswamy and super supporter Elon Musk to find the fat in the bureaucracy and take an axe to it through a new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE),  America, with our $35 trillion plus debt, needs government to shrink so that the private sector can thrive. 

The "Musk Cabinet"

Some Leftists are decrying the fact that Trump is still seeking advice from Elon Musk about the direction of the incoming administration. Who would not want a leader consulting an objectively brilliant adviser? Some are even complaining that this is a "bought and paid for" Presidency, purchased by Musk. Nothing could be less true, as Trump is going against the interests of Musk that would naturally be to promote the sale of more electric vehicles (Teslas). 

By Other Means

For decades, the DemocRATS have been waging war against Republicans, and of late, the battle has turned on all Americans with traditional values and reverence for America's Founding. In the meantime, Republicans were looking for compromise that actually helped the People and were inviting authentic enemies over for cocktails or a beer. With Trump returning to office, the formerly passive side will wield a sword as well and start to defend the Providential Blessing that is our Nation! 

Stake Through Heart?

The Deep State has so thoroughly permeated America's government that I sincerely doubt four years is enough to untangle it, particularly with certain elements of government already vowing to "resist" Trump. Then, there will be the lawfare that will grip the incoming administration. Will the power and authority of the unanswerable bureaucrats be diminished in a single Presidential term? Undoubtedly, but the new administration will face obstacles every step of the way.

Margins Too Large?

In the United States, those that manipulate election outcomes generally need the vote tallies to be relatively close to succeed in those efforts. Trump won by such large numbers that he could not fall prey again to the "fuzzy" tactics many believe worked in 2020. In some House and Senate races, the distance between the candidates may still have been close enough that some "rigging" took place. 

Has Nothing Changed?

After witnessing the horror visited on Israeli soccer fans last night in Amsterdam, I came to the conclusion that little has changed in Europe in regard to the commitment to tolerance towards Jewish people. They hated Jews before the Holocaust and still despise us. The only difference is that now few, if any, of the perpetrators of this pogrom had blond hair and blue eyes. 

Stubborn in Defeat

How did the DemocRAT-powers-that-be possibly believe that the candidate who was so unpopular and not able to gain any traction that she was forced to withdraw first from the primary and caucus process in the 2020 cycle suddenly become such a hot commodity that she was the radiant replacement for fading Joe? Was it deliberate blindness or hubris that they could select the proverbial "yellow dog" and still win? If when Biden's disability became obvious, they had just had an open process to pick a successor rather than a rigged deal, would the candidate who emerged have been able to defeat Trump? The stunning aspect from their perspective is that they obviously have learned nothing from the loss, at least so far. As a conservative, I hope the opposition party continues with their arrogance because it makes them easier to beat. 

America's Life Vest

The United States will likely not go under for the next four years due to the sound judgement of so many patriotic voters. We are not willingly going to accept the imposition of Communism on our nation, nor will we permit the light of liberty to be extinguished in the world! 

Not Much Happening?

Is anything important going on today? It doesn't look like much . . . except your future, that of your children, and the fate of human freedom around the globe. You have the chance today to go out and vote for Trump and save the world. 

Our National Salvation

Personal salvation is between each individual and the Lord, but you can do your part tomorrow to save America, and freedom around the world, by voting for Donald Trump. A vote for socialist, abortion-pushing Kamala summons national damnation. If you wonder what Hades is like, select Harris and unleash it. 

The Harris Prosperity

International fast food giant Wendy's announced it is closing 140 locations in Kamala's America. Casual dining staple Friday's has been forced to go one further and declare bankruptcy after decades. These are yet two more casualties of DemocRAT control of the mechanisms of power in the United States. Let us end that this Tuesday! 

Not a Picnic

If Trump does not now secure a second term in office as President of the United States, the world will further descend into chaos, bloodshed, and tyranny, with a real prospect of nuclear war looming faster than you fear. If the forty-fifth President wins, the Left will unleash street violence like America has never suffered. ANTIFA and BLM will be reactivated in numbers never yet seen to launch insurrection against the legitimate authorities. Opportunistic thugs will loot right alongside them, but a Trump victory, even with massive civil unrest is the better alternative to decades, if not centuries of darkness. 

The Change Candidate?

Kamala is running as if Trump is still President and not Biden. She acts as if the last four years, Donald was still in power. It is like Harris has had no influence on policy during her term as Vice President, and being that weak, how could she possibly assume the nation's highest office? Kamala mostly says she would change "nothing" during Joe's term. She tells us she would not do anything different, so you must know what to expect if you vote for Harris. If you do not like the direction our country is taking, you must vote TRUMP!

You Trashed US!

There is indeed garbage in American politics today. It resides in the White House and spawns drug addict, prostitute frequenting low-life dross. 

Fight Goes On

Even if the IDF eliminated every terrorist in Gaza, as long as the mad mullahs of Tehran are sponsoring the murder of Jews, Israel will struggle with jihadists trying to kill Israelis from Lebanon, Yemen, and now even Iranian soil itself. Until the theocracy that is oppressing the Iranian people falls, the Jewish State remains in constant danger. 

End Is Nigh?

Hamas has had six hundred of its jihadists surrender in Jabalya. The terrorist group is about to utterly collapse. The experienced masterminds have mostly been killed or captured. Israel's battle is far from over though as the head of the snake was never in Gaza but in Tehran. 

Right About That

The Tennessee Titans are the definition of awful. Not one aspect of the game with the Lions was competitive. The Nashville squad seemed to have a good defense at the start of this season, but even that has collapsed, perhaps demoralized by the pitiful offense and terrible special teams. The Lions looked unbeatable, but that was likely due to an opponent who seemed to quit trying before the end of the first half of yesterday's game. To purchase a personal seat license now, a Titans fan would have to be a masochist. 

Terrible Titans Tussle

The Titans have about the same prospect of beating the Lions as the Little Sisters of the Poor would. Tennessee plays Detroit at noon Central Standard Time, and in the end, it will look somewhat like the Christian martyrs versus the apex predator cats in the Roman Colosseum. At least the fellows representing Michigan will not eat the members of the woeful Nashville team. 

A Pin Prick

When Israel had every justification to destroy (as much as possible) Iran's nuclear weapons program, the IDF instead staged a carefully targeted, "proportional" response in keeping with the demands of the Biden-Harris regime. The Jewish State has given away deterrence on a silver platter, not out of fear of Tehran but out of dread that the current leaders in Washington will cut off support. 

House and Senate

As important as it is for Trump to win the Presidency, it is even more essential that Republicans gain control of Congress. If the former President triumphs he, on his own, will forestall the decline of our nation, but without the House and Senate in GOP hands, he can't reverse the terminal trajectory. If, heaven forbid, Harris steals the Presidency, the national legislature must be in hands that will block the imposition of Marxism. This coming vote, depending on how it goes, could be the last consequential election. Vote straight Republican ticket up and down the ballot to save the Founder's vision of the country and to preserve our Republic! 

Talk About Ceasefire

Why does nobody outside of Israel insist Hamas and Hezbollah quit the fight before Israel, the entity that was at peace but was actually attacked, exits the fight? Why is the rest of the world demanding only of the Jewish State that they stop defending themselves? Rockets launched from Gaza and Lebanon still strike the Holy Land virtually every day. If on October 8, 2023, the nations beyond Israel had all insisted that Hamas surrender and release the hostages they had just taken and that Hezbollah stop firing at Israel from Lebanon, the conflict would likely have ended within days, but with even the US State Department initially calling for Israeli "restraint" just after the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, the terrorists were heartened and knew the international community had no intention of siding with Jews. 

High Turn Over

There is no job security leading Hezbollah. The IDF recently eliminated the leader of the terror organization. Then Israel killed his replacement as the new boss of the jihadi murder squad. Finally, a strike took out the replacement of the second successor head of the terrorists. After seeing three of their honchos wiped out sequentially, I doubt many others are lining up to direct the operations against the Jewish State. 

Most Popular Sport

For generations in America, baseball was the most popular sport. Football and basketball were afterthoughts back then. Today, baseball languishes with audiences that sometimes do not reach the level of soccer. Some folks are still devoted spectators, particularly around this World Series time, but the game has lost popularity particularly when contrasted with the NFL which now has the added lure of Taylor Swift with her tight end. 

Hamas's Hitler Hammered

The blood-thirsty murderer who orchestrated the October 7, 2023 massacre of innocent Israelis has met justice. His end did not come after a court proceeding and many appeals. It did not come from some highly sensitive intelligence and commandos acting on that super secret information. It came from a nineteen year old citizen soldier, relatively new to the military, spying a terrorist he did not know was Sinwar until long after the arch-terrorist's death. I declare, "Good riddance to bad rubbish! Yayha burn in hell!"

A Tennessee Yankee

I grew up in Nashville, a city without Major League Baseball, where about everyone either rooted for the Atlanta Braves or the Cincinnati Reds, who were the closest teams. I happened to support the New York Yankees, because when I was a little boy, my parents took me to meet Jim Turner, the then longest serving Yankee and he gave me a lesson on how to pitch. He showed me the different grips for different pitches, and we tossed the ball around in Ed Fuller's field of tomatoes. I was so impressed that Coach Turner had roomed on the road with Babe Ruth, or as he said "Ruth's luggage" because Babe was usually out carousing. The Babe had played sandlot ball as a kid with my grandfather who was a semipro catcher among other vocations and avocations as both grew up in Baltimore. From that day on to now, I have favored Mr. Turner's team, and was rarely as sad about a sporting event as when they did not prevail in the World Series played after the September 11, 2001 tragedy that struck New York so hard. I am glad the Yankees are back in the Series after too long an absence. 

Blue Helmet Perfidy

When so-called "peacekeepers" from the United Nations are not raping indigenous little girls, they seem to spend their time protecting the terrorists that are supposed to prevent from even being there. The UN is an enemy of all that is good and right and certainly an implacable foe of the Jewish State. UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) was supposed to keep the Hezbollah jihadists away from Israel's border, but in the event allowed them in and facilitated their weapons build up. It could not have happened without the complicity or acquiescence of those charged as peaacekeepers who actually just ended up as the allies of and cover for terrorists. 

Stand Up Presidency

About all Kamala is capable of is delivering prepared and rehearsed remarks or reading off a teleprompter. She becomes flustered and incapable of preceding when the teleprompter she is using happens to freeze or go out. If elected, do you think Putin will permit Harris to drag her teleprompter with her in life and death negotiations? Trump, on the other hand, is absolutely brilliant delivering off the cuff remarks as he demonstrated yet again during the Al Smith Dinner broadcast on FOX News. Trump is capable of thinking on his feet like few others ever. 

Contradiction Word Salad

Kamala: We fixed the border. Also Kamala: The border is broken but was when Trump was in office too. Anyway, everything wrong is still Trump's fault (even though we have been in power nearly four years). Harris can't have it both ways, either the border is fixed because she and Biden did such a great job (which obviously they did not) or it is only them to blame because they are the ones in office almost one full term. 

Marxist and Moron

I watched Kamala's ever so brief appearance on FOX News being interviewed by never Trumper Bret Baier. She did not answer a single question he asked. Harris also kept referring to herself as "we". I do not know if Kamala plays the pronoun game or thinks of herself as royalty, but we now all see for our commoner selves why she has avoided interviews. 

Inscrutable or Idiot

Some might believe that Kamala is so intellectually superior that she is playing chess while the rest of us are making mud pies in a septic field. Listening carefully in an attempt to decipher her word salads, I conclude she is not smart at all but a genuine moron. If you watch Harris interviewed, you have to ask yourself "who did she have to sleep with to get that job?" In the first instance, that would be Willie Brown. She is not capable of being President. After watching her flailing through her rather limited campaign appearances, I would doubt she is able to change a light bulb.  

Drunk With Power

If Harris wins, she will be drunk with power. Heaven only knows what she is drunk on during her word salads and incoherent interviews with her handmaiden press who is trying unsuccessfully to make her look good. 

On Asymmetric Warfare

An argument might be made that the attack on an Israeli base was not terrorism but a righteous action against a military target. Perhaps, that is so, but if the side conducting the strike also has attacked Israeli civilians for over a year in support of a massacre of music festival goers and whole families in their homes, the attackers are clearly terrorists who in this one particular event sought out and were (sadly) successful in hitting the IDF. The struggle is not the Israelis fighting Palestinian Davids, but a tiny, beleaguered nation facing the Islamic Republic of Iran and all the countries and terror groups the mad mullahs fund and inspire. 

Kind of Love?

Kamala is like the boyfriend who tells you "you are perfect just the way you are" but then suggests you get a second job to pay for some breast implants. Trump venerates the nation as Founded, while Harris wants to change us into something the Founders would not recognize. I believe she hates the Constitution and only sees it as an impediment to what she seeks to impose. 

"Of This World"

I had a politically-aware young woman tell me decades back that she was "in this world, but not of it", so she would not be voting. Her father had been one of the best known political cartoonists in the Philippines until he crossed Ferdinand Marcos and had to flee to the United States. This lady had attended Harpeth Hall, the most elite girls' prep school in my hometown of Nashville, and graduated from MTSU, was a US citizen but told me she would not participate in the political process because she was trying to remain on a higher level. I have heard other religious people saying they do not engage in elections as well. If I was trying to live in the light of the Lord, I would vote in this upcoming election because the DemocRATS have become an abortion pushing death cult. 

Pray for Forgiveness

No matter what your religion, I doubt you are without sin. I know I am not. On this Yom Kippur in my faith, I seek absolution and am aware I will always fall short and need to strive to make it right with my Maker. 

Pray for America

The Good Lord might be sending the United States a message that we need to mend the error in our ways. I fear with these successive natural disasters we may be about to break the Seventh Seal. Of course, that is ultimately up to a Higher Power, who might show mercy if we start to atone. 

Calvin or Luther

While some outside of Islam have expressed hope for a Reformation-type event within the Muslim faith, I see no indication whatsoever that any reformer has arisen in centuries. Sure, there are brands within Islam that are less aggressive than the Twelvers in the Islamic Republic of Iran or the Sunni Salafists or followers of Wahhab, but they are a tiny minority, often persecuted by the more militant strains. I would not be worried if my neighbor was a Sufi dancer, but my fears would be palpable as an American Jew if my neighbor characterized himself as a devoted "Wahhabi". 

The True Islam

I was heartened to see a Muslim woman speaking to an American Jewish journalist about her desire for peace. I was deeply disheartened to hear she had to flee Egypt and take refuge in the United States when her opinion that friendship with Israelis was possible became known. Unfortunately, peace-loving Muslims seem the minority in a supremacist and triumphalist faith that still adheres to conversion by the sword. 

Dread Not Compatriots

Kamala Harris has told her fellow American suffering in the aftermath of the hurricane that they have nothing to fear. The Vice President announced "one hundred and fifty-seven million dollars" is urgently on the way . . . "to Lebanon". Not a joke, as Biden would say, but as Tennesseans and Carolinians are still missing and still more have little or no access to food or clean water, the DemocRAT nominee for President is crowing about sending large sums of money to the Middle East. 

Government Help Delayed?

In a situation where the lives of people are at risk, slow response and layers of bureaucracy are potentially deadly. I do not care what political party hurricane victims happen to support but perhaps the Biden-Harris regime does. Could they be slow-walking aid to those they think oppose them? 

An Appeasement Compendium

The world, apart from Germany, hoped that Hitler would be satisfied with re-militarizing areas that the Germans had pledged not to in the treaty that ended the First World War. He was not. The former adversaries of the Kaiser ignored Germany sequentially violating limits they had accepted in the types of war materiel they could possess, from ships to aircraft and beyond, but nobody was eager to stoke the fires of conflict. Then the Anschluss occurred, but sane European countries were not eager to lose another generation of young men, and did not carp too much about the Nazis uniting German speaking people. Finally, the Sudetenland fell in the shameful concession to those who were clearly aggressors bent on igniting a new World War, but Chamberlain and his allies on the Continent thought by surrendering enough, there could be "peace in our time". In September 1939, the invasion of Poland proved that war was inevitable, as it had been from the beginning in a time when too many were cowards or filled with self-delusion about the absolute monster Adolf was. This fact set is incontrovertible and might today be extrapolated into how the Islamic Republic of Iran has been treated by other nations trying to avoid war as Shiite madmen subsumed Syria, Lebanon, large swathes of Yemen, and much of Iraq. The mad mullahs are no more reliable "peace partners" than Herr Hitler himself was. 

More Halliburton Hijinks

The Cheney warmonger clan has endorsed Kamala Harris. They may think they have found an angle to profit from expanding carnage. Perhaps though they might not be aware that in a nuclear exchange between superpowers, very few survive to profit. This endorsement of Team Conflagration should be enough to disqualify the Vice President and Governor in the minds of sane people.

The DemocRAT Party through weakness and appeasement is leading America into war with Russia, Red China, and Iran and Iranian proxies. Trump brought peace and stability to the world, while Biden and Harris opened the gates of chaos. You will be able to select the path you want for our nation in this election. Choose wisely. 

Less Than Stelllar

Kamala must really not have wanted to be eclipsed by her Vice Presidential pick, so she selected someone who is no threat to do that. Tim Walz showed himself to be a bumbling idiot last night with his "Israel proxies" misstep, when meaning Iran (boy those "I" countries are just so confusing), his inexplicable "friends with school shooters" comment, and his two minute "knucklehead" groveling when a short "I was mistaken" was in order and would have settled the issue, but the Governor instead droned on for two minutes creating the image of an equivocating liar with shoulders too narrow to simply accept responsibility for his own words. Vance was certainly better and humanized himself, softening his image and showing that he was not "weird" but was no Churchill stirring our souls to rush out to vote in his (and Trump's) support. 

A Real Difference

The IDF is bending over backwards to protect the innocent Lebanese who the Hezbollah terrorists are attempting to use as their human shields. Israel has finally been forced to try to stop the constant barrage against it from the territory of Lebanon that Hezbollah initiated on October 8, 2023, the day after Hamas staged their bloody incursion into the Jewish State from Gaza. Netanyahu has declared that the war is NOT against Lebanon or the Lebanese people, but aimed at the terrorists who launch their attacks from there. The Israeli Prime Ministers means it, and his forces have warned the noncombatants in areas the forces are about to attack to leave for their own safety. One side is a law-abiding nation fighting for survival, while the other is double war criminals trying to murder Israeli civilians while hiding behind innocent Lebanese. 

All My Fault!

If only I had not been such a selfish enemy of the Earth and bought an SUV, there would be no hurricanes. Never mind that gasoline is so high I rarely drive the behemoth, or that I purchased it in 2020 so I could make it up to see my then five year old daughter in a city two hundred miles to my north in winter if roads were covered in snow and ice. I just know that all-wheel drive V-6 just killed folks across the South. Actually, it is hubris of the most disgusting kind to think my car or light bulb is changing the climate. The Lord is quite a bit more powerful than our pretensions.  

Which Side Anyway?

The US Secretary of Defense, who is on the job this week and not taking some recovery time off without telling anyone, is excoriating Israel for not telling him the IDF was about to eliminate the master terrorist Nasrallah, before the action. I am not saying Austin would have warned this mass murderer, who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans, but countries can't be too careful when they are fighting for their very survival. It is deeply disheartening for decent people to have to wonder whether the United States is on the side of the only representative democracy in the Middle East or siding with those trying to wipe Israel out. 

Most Disturbing Figures

The United States has admitted more than thirteen thousand murderers and fifteen thousand rapists during the Biden-Harris term that the government knows about and now acknowledges. These are only the ones we are aware of because they entered America through controlled means. We have no idea how many more dangerous felons snuck in as so called "got-aways". Obviously, with admission so easy at the regular ports of entry, if you feel the need to creep around them, you must have something to hide; so it must be assumed that many other killers and sexual predators are here that we do not know about, because if they did not have terrible records, they would have entered through normal means rather than sneaking across the Southern (usually, but also the Northern) border. Clearly, Americans are much less safe under this regime than we were when Trump was guarding our nation. 

The Rosiest Figures?

With the "Joy" campaign in full swing, more tremendous economic figures are emerging from the Federal government. These numbers are of a piece with the Harris election offer and are just as credible as the pandemic emerging organically from a Wuhan wet market. Do not fall for these lies- the economy is teetering and will collapse if Kamala takes the Presidency! 

Puppy Dog Eyes

Do you ever notice the fawning that goes on anytime Kamala interacts with the press? Of course, Harris won't sit down with FOX News; so the few reporters she has granted access to all genuinely adore her. I would not be able to look in a mirror if I was a member of the media so locked into leader worship. The bulk of the so-called "journalists" are smitten in a new cult of personality. 

Victory or Defeat?

Israel is in a battle to survive. If the Jewish State prevails, they restore deterrence and put the Islamic Republic of Iran back in their box. If Israel loses, who will stop the mad mullahs from taking Saudi Arabia, or at the very least, extorting the Saudis who are loath to fight, to do Iran's bidding. The fight is not simply for the Jewish State, but to make sure the Middle East is not transformed into the Ayatollah's sandbox, where the Sunni States are forced to dance to the wicked tune the Shiite fanatics play. 

The Enthusiasm Gap?

I heard some reporting that less canvassers are going out and campaigning door to door for Trump than in his 2020 effort. That is no surprise to me as I remember several who volunteered in the last campaign cycle were assaulted and at least one shot. As for Kamala, her campaigners are filled with "joy" deep down in their bitter, class-envy filled hearts, no ideas of substance but plenty of empty-headed and/or brainwashed excitement in the same spirit as Mao's students before they beat their Western educated professor to death. What notions could Harris supporters have to advance as the few their candidate holds are bad ones that will destroy prosperity and erode freedom in our nation and likely start World War III?

A Proportional Response?

What is the measured response to a dozen young people being blown up on a soccer field? How does a nation fight back after infants have been burned in ovens? Are Hezbollah or Hamas showing any concern about Israeli civilians when they attack? Why is it only Israel held to the impossible standard of injuring no noncombatants when the world knows well that the terrorists are hiding behind their own children to launch attacks at Israeli kindergartens? 

Most Restrained Force

Israel has the might to wipe out Lebanon in a day. It is a testament to the IDF's commitment to "Purity of Arms" that so few civilians have been killed when the terrorists are hiding among them to produce that specific result while using their own children as human shields and firing at the Jewish State in a double war crime (attacking Israel's noncombatants while trying to facilitate the deaths of their own to show the world what barbarians those Jews are). 

The Unmitigated Gall

The Biden regime is complaining that Israel is"escalating" the conflict in the Middle East. The Jewish State has been under relentless fire from Lebanon since just after the Hamas massacre on the other side of the country on October 7, 2023. From the 8th of October on, missiles and rockets fired by Hezbollah have struck Israel. The IDF responded piecemeal to the provocation, but thousands of Israelis have been displaced from their homes and brought to the somewhat safer center of the country. No nation could abide what Israel has endured, and with concrete intelligence indicating that in a few days Hezbollah would launch their own October 7 pogrom one year later to celebrate the first launched by Hamas, Israel was compelled to act. As for the condemnation of Israel by AOC and other DemocRATS for ridding the world of an arch-terrorist, let me remind them that he participated in the destruction of the Marine barracks in Lebanon that murdered 241 Americans, and led the bombing of the Beirut US embassy that killed seventeen more. They should be thanking the IDF for bringing justice to such a vicious murderer who for decades had eluded America's effort to bring him into custody. American Jews who care about Israel in the slightest must see their political home is no longer in the DemocRAT party.

Hamas and Hezbollah are both mortal foes to Israel, but they are NOT the existential threat to the Jewish State. The Islamic Republic of Iran is. Without the backing of Tehran, many in the Arab world would still be hostile to the Zionist Entity but would not have the means to obliterate the insult in their midst. Given Iran's resources and their race to build nuclear weapons, it is the mad mullahs that pose the greatest threat. 

Interest Rate Cut

The Federal Reserve, that should be audited and really should have been decades ago, did their part to boost the Kamala campaign and dropped the prime interest rate fifty basis points (one half of one percent). They raised the rate over four years to combat that irrationally exuberant shopping spree by American consumers who were just so flush with all that Biden prosperity, except that the inflation was NEVER consumer driven but all caused by government over-spending!

Terrorists blew up simultaneously across Lebanon and in parts of Syria yesterday. I think it is a new type of virus that strikes people who want to murder Israelis. The event reminds me of a scene from the "Kingsman" movie. I would think twice if I were a young Jew-hater about joining a jihadist terror group right now. 

Attack for Ukraine?

It seems the gunman who intended to murder Trump may well have been motivated by a desire to protect Ukrainian independence. The potential shooter apparently believes that the former President if reelected will abandon Ukraine. Trump will no doubt push for peace but a fair peace with honor that preserves a free Ukraine. He is not and never was a handmaiden to Moscow, a claim that was all part of the smear and character assassination of our forty-fifth President. Trump is not and never was Putin's man, but is no fan of forever wars that only enrich the military-industrial complex. 

Oh, the Naivete`

How stupid can some otherwise smart, right-minded people actually be? I hear them say "everyone wants fair elections"; when, in fact, the side that prevails by cheating clearly does not. If everybody wanted a straight process, we would have one already and have little to worry about, but we do not and must really be concerned right now.

One could say Kamala is a Stalin in the making. We might luck out if she steals victory and find out Harris is merely an up and coming Lenin. Won't that be a relief! 

Nonsense and Lies

When Kamala has a prepared script or extensive practice and rehearsal, she is adequate in delivering her lies. When Harris has to think on her feet, she spouts balderdash. A local Pennsylvania reporter was granted the first solo interview with the Presidential aspirant and asked her about the economy yesterday. Her response was about "lawns" back when she grew up. If heaven-forbid she is elected, do you think Putin will allow her to go over her lines a few times with her handlers before he turns New York City into a nuclear desert? Harris declared in the debate she would not go after guns, then just three days later was pushing an assault weapons ban. What Kamala says is either off on a tangent, meaningless, or worse yet, an outright lie she is spouting to gain her power. 

A Natural Right

I saw a video of a Hamas enthusiast charging across a street to tackle a veteran demonstrating in support of Israel. It has been reported that the gentleman who was assaulted was neither Jewish nor Israeli but a 47 year old Massachusetts native named "Hayes". Mr. Hayes protected himself from the unhinged attacker by firing a single shot. The aggressor was wounded in the stomach and the shooter, who was clearly defending himself, was the first to render aid. Hayes does not seem to me guilty of any crime, but the local authorities there arrested him and are apparently charging him for two crimes. Hayes was engaging in his natural human right of self-defense. 

Need to Wonder

The United States had a rip-roaring economy under President Trump until the pandemic knocked the country back. Kamala and the shell of Biden produced crippling inflation, and drove a significant portion of Americans out of the middle class. Trump has never been a doctrinaire conservative, but a pragmatist. Harris, on the other hand, was the most radical member of the US Senate (to the Left of Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders). Kamala has experienced something of an "in the trenches conversion" now apparently, as she has backed off her progressive ideology, and now on many issues, sounds like she is to the Right of Donald Trump. In point of fact though, she and Biden had over three years to implement the policies she now claims to embrace but did not do a thing. Donald has a record he is running on, while Harris has one she is running from; so, the voters do not have to guess what the future holds with either choice. 

The Stacked Deck

The debate last night reminded me of a boxing match where one participant goes in expecting a fair fight, only to be swarmed by the opponent along with his manager and corner men, and the referee, all hitting him with bats. It was not a debate but a Soviet show trial on steroids. The bias against Trump was so palpable that it was like watching a second assassination attempt but this one not to literally murder the former President, just to kill his political career. The ABC news folks are clearly made-members of Kamala's crew. 

Debating the Debate

Americans know Donald Trump's policies because he already served as President for a full term. Love him or not, whatever he says tonight will not change that. Kamala has recently flipped on so many positions, it seems like she has been debating herself. With the degree of bias in the media, Harris could babble incoherently (like Biden), and the press will still say she presented her argument "passionately and forcefully" and won the debate. With most folks' positions already so firmly set, the debate will change very few votes. 

The Crazy Jews

There were Jews with resources who saw the rise of Hitler but made no effort to escape Europe. They believed reason would prevail, which ultimately it did, but only after almost all of them had been murdered by the Nazis. We are in that "Never Again" moment, where one candidate for the American Presidency will bring catastrophe to the Jewish People and, more broadly, the world, yet the most recent survey shows sixty-eight percent (68%) of Jews voting for Kamala and only a quarter of Jewish voters siding with Trump (25%). Could my brethren conceivably still be this stupid? 

Order or Chaos

If you want BLM/ANTIFA-types controlling your streets, and Venezuelan gangs extorting apartment complex dwellers, vote Harris-Walz. If you want the illegal alien violent thugs laid out like trophy deer, so that no more would dare come to our nation, vote for the law and order ticket that opposes Communism and anarchy. 

A Tragic Anniversary

October 7 is rapidly approaching. To commemorate that unhappy day, a Canadian Muslim was going to slip into New York City and murder as many Jews as he could. Do you think he was going to ask his targets, "Are you Zionist" or "Are you for Netanyahu"? No, he was going to slaughter Jews simply for being Jews. Those of my faith should remember this- those who seek to kill us are not looking for subtle distinctions. They just want our blood! 

Unbelievably Successful Campaign

The effectiveness of the way Donald Trump has been demonized is unquestionable. The New York Times was even given a Pulitzer Prize for their reportage on Trump's "conspiracy" with the Russians. No such linkage between the former President and Russia ever existed. Trump is still deemed guilty by folks that are book smart and consider themselves well-informed. After all, they read the Gray Lady everyday, and some are so well educated that they actually complete the Times crossword puzzle. I mean, these are the literally brilliant cognoscenti, but they bought the lies meant to smear Trump and his supporters hook, line, and sinker. Then, there are the merely well-informed who garner their news on MSNBC and CNN. They may rarely (if ever) read the so-called newspaper of record in the United States, but they were fed the steady diet of lies about the insurrectionists and their evil cult of personality leader and now they despise their neighbor or former classmate who happens to think Trump is the better option for America than Kamala's Marxism. Then, there are those doing their own research but finding their "facts" on incredibly biased search engines or from social media that has a history since 2016 of spreading anti-Trump propaganda and lies. There are smart and capable people, many in responsible positions who think Trump is a Hitler in the making and his supporters are literal Nazis. After all, the former President did say something about "good people on both sides in Charlottesville" which in reality is more out of context manipulation by those who hate Trump. 

Annihilation or Survival

In the case of the current war of annihilation being waged against the Jews, it is more important to secure Israel and her existence as the Jewish State than to save the hostages. Of course, I along with virtually every Jew (and decent people of any or no faith) want to see those abducted rescued or set free, but not at the cost of future security, because losing that imperils the nation and Jews everywhere. 

Thoughts on "Ceasefire"

If Israel is forced to accept a ceasefire without Hamas being effectively destroyed, the Jewish State will be placing an enormous target on their relatively small country. Yes, Israel is being bullied by everybody except the majority of Israelis themselves (who are not suicidal), but most citizens there know that if they quit the fight prior to victory, the surviving members of Hamas, the Palestinian Authority armed factions, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, the Houthis, Assad's Syria, the Shiite militants of Iraq, and of course, the mad mullahs of Iran smelling Jewish blood and baying for more, are all bound to hit Israel with the intention of finishing off the Zionist entity. For Israel (and likely world Jewry) to survive, the IDF must prevail, and any semblance of an organized Hamas must be vanquished.

Hamas is al-Qaeda. The slight distinction is that the terrorist group waging slaughter against Israel's civilians used motorized gliders to murder instead of hijacked commercial jets. Hamas is ISIS. They are both relentlessly determined to slay people who do not conform to their seventh century worldview. The one certainty about all these jihadist groups is that the world would be a more peaceful place if they were wiped from it. 

No Fiscal Restraint

If you run government like a business, citizens thrive. If you run business like government operates today, you go under in short order. Private enterprise can't print money or take it away from those who have earned it at the point of a gun, but government certainly does. A country that eases regulation and slows government spending enriches its citizens while high tax overreaching government impoverishes the People. 

Such Tragic News

Can you imagine having a hand blown off and then being torture treated without anesthesia? That is what American citizen Hersh Goldberg was subjected to on October 7, but he fought to stay alive to return to his family. They will not be reunited as the bloody butchers of Gaza have now murdered him and five other innocent hostages. I pray the few kidnapped Israelis who are still alive are returned safe to those they love. 

Oh, the Irony

The leaders of Islamo-Nazi terrorist group Hamas have just called for "martyrdom operations" against Israel. This comes in the wake of revelations that one of the sticking points in ceasefire talks is that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar wants Israel to promise him that he will not be targeted by the Jewish State. In other words, this butcher wants to send his underlings to certain death, but demands his personal safety guaranteed by the folks he has been murdering. I say if Sinwar wants suicide bombing to resume, as a leader, he should volunteer to be the first jihadist to strap on the bomb and go forth to try to die gloriously and claim his seventy-two virgins. 

A Candidate Stampede

Watching excerpts of the first interview Queen Kamala has granted with sidekick Walz, I was struck by how much she ran away from her policy positions that she has annunciated for years and how much the Minnesota Governor lies and deflects about his exaggerations of his service in the Army National Guard. One runs away from her record, while the other flees his own words. 

Pushing You Out

The DemocRAT leaders and their fellow travelers have pushed for decades to break up Black families by rewarding single mothers for not having the fathers in their homes and have killed African-Americans before they are even born by locating abortion mills in primarily Black neighborhoods. Now, these same leaders are rushing to supplant African-American voting power by importing millions of Hispanic future voters who do not have the same priorities as the Black Community. The DemocRATS have a half Black candidate at the top of their ticket, but Harris intends to keep America's borders open and that will dilute Black Power even more. Why not give Trump a chance to make a better future for all Americans? 

The Game Plan

First you make it so hard on your native population that those who are responsible and would never take charity or government handouts stop having children (by necessity, because they can't afford them). Then you talk about the population problem you have deliberately caused because there are no longer enough births to sustain your country. With birthrates so low, you must import laborers. Those workers are forever in your debt for rescuing them from Third World conditions and once given voting rights are the block that keeps you and your chosen successors in power permanently to keep importing their relatives. Of course, this is just the paranoid fantasy of right-wingers. 

The Educated Fools

I know well-educated professionals who are enthralled with Kamala and can't wait to vote our nation into Communism. My wise great grandmother, born in Russia, would have said they had "all the education but no common sense". I would say they are unbelievably dangerous. It amazes me that certain fellow Jews, some having graduated the most prestigious universities, are giving the Harris-Walz ticket their full-throated support. At best, Kamala will embargo arms going to Israel. At worst, she will join the rest of the Jew-haters to order the blue helmets to march in and destroy the Jewish State. Does this sound like "joy" to you? 

See Reagan Movie

I had the unique opportunity to attend the Nashville premiere of the Reagan movie featuring Dennis Quaid. It was a masterful telling of many of the events of the Twentieth Century, but much more with soulful portrayals of the human beings who made that history. Quaid's performance was particularly compelling with him capturing the essence of the late President from his initial foray into acting all the way to his passing from Alzheimer's. Quaid obviously could not play "Dutch" as a child, nor as a young man working as a lifeguard and playing college football, but when Quaid, who is into his seventies appears on the screen, he captures the verve and expectations of a twenty-something trying to make his way in Hollywood, and his vocalizations and facial expressions actually bring Forty back to life. 

Unprecedented Israeli Aggression

A huge swathe of the media is against the Jewish State. These Jew-haters in the press report "news" from the Gaza Ministry of Health without skepticism, while framing everything Israel declares as "Israel claims" or the IDF "appears to show", heaping questions of credibility on the side that was attacked. I have already heard such reportage from Lebanon as well, as if Jerusalem lies while Hezbollah states unquestionable truth. Israel is NOT waging attacks on Lebanon or Lebanese but on an Iranian proxy terror army that has subsumed Lebanon as its base from which to launch attacks to murder Israelis. 

A Monumental Development

Robert Kennedy has essentially endorsed his Republican opponent. He will not contest races in states where he might be the spoiler who puts Kamala in office. Kennedy and Trump see the world differently in many aspects, but while I always supported Trump in this race, I agree wholeheartedly with Kennedy that folks should not be compelled to take a vaccine (that turned out to be neither particularly safe nor effective). I do not know how much Kennedy's departure shakes up the contest, but it certainly seems he has placed country over self. 

Were You Fooled?

Did you buy what DemocRATS were selling at their convention? Did you notice they co-opted Republican themes and even policy positions (like no tax on tips). Kamala's side was suddenly more patriotic than the Founding Fathers while in actuality they want to erase the legacy of our Founders. The difference between Harris and Trump is he will actually do all he is able to keep his promises while hers are mere posturing to gain votes. In the horrific event of her victory, she will revert to the socialism of her heart and head, while America loses freedom and prosperity.

The Platform Collapsed

Nothing is going badly in the Biden-Harris regime, but if it were, Kamala will fix it when she becomes President. Harris will not attempt the repair now, while she is Vice President, but she will start waving her magic wand after she is sworn into higher office and solve all our problems (not that we actually have any during the Biden-Harris utopia they have had charge over almost four years).

The head of the police in the United Kingdom has threatened to jail Americans for expressing opinions that he does not like. He may or may not be a top flight administrator and investigator, but he certainly lacks a knowledge of history. Does this martinet not recall that America kicked his then empire six ways from Sunday in the Revolutionary War? United States' citizens no longer have to abide by whatever edict London demands. In fact, come over here and tell us that to our faces, you stuffed shirt, inbred imbecile! 

Class Envy Liars

Most American billionaires support DemocRATS, but the few that do support Trump have not done so because they want to further feather their own nests, but because the DemocRATS have turned against the Jews and Israel. At the convention, you heard some populist talk, but that was all it was. DemocRATS since Bill Clinton have done little for working people, but much for their billionaire donor class. The DomocRAT Party is a Marxist institution with a remnant of corrupt capitalism reserved for cronies. 

The Conventional Wisdom

DemocRATS will tell you whatever they think you want to hear at their convention but will govern as Marxists in the tragedy of their victory (heaven-forbid). Their leaders are practiced and accomplished liars who in office only engage in capitalism when it enriches them and their cronies. They may put on a fantastic show this week, because the Hollywood people will orchestrate the proceedings, but they are selling whole cloth to the gullible. 

The Terrible Leveler

Honest government can't make anyone wealthy. Graft and corruption can and do, but all government is able to accomplish is not spreading the wealth but reducing the circumstances of the hitherto successful to grow misery across the board. 

The Fool's Errand

The Federal government gains funds by printing money which devalues it or by confiscation (through taxation). If a country prints enough fiat currency, it becomes another Weimar Germany or Zimbabwe. If it takes from productive citizens, it becomes a disincentive to work. Kamala wants to do both. 

Moronic Marxist Notion

How would price controls work on groceries in America? They would advance the process of turning the United States into Zimbabwe. Also, if any such practice were put into action, wage controls would have to necessarily accompany them, as price controls without wage controls cause food producers to go bankrupt. Kamala is not for wage controls though but supports a higher minimum wage, which would spark ever greater inflation and be an invitation for a contraband trade in ever more scarce food. If you want Americans to live like they did in the Venezuela of Chavez, vote Harris. 

A Glaring Admission

Kamala Harris has not done an interview, even iin the many friendly forum available to her, since he elevation to Presidential nominee (without receiving any actual votes), The reason she has not made herself available is evident. Harris and her handlers do not believe she is capable of performing well, even with the friendliest interlocutor. 

Liars and Cheats

Who do you think deceives more- the DemocRAT leaders or their media flacks who pretend to be objective? The DemocRATS have the vested interest of self-promotion to retain and then gain more power. The dinosaur press are simply their willing propagandists. Both harm Americans and should never be believed. 

Trump Means Liberty

For goodness sake, our future is at stake. We will have greater freedom and prosperity after the election, or Harris-Walk, but not both. It is a simple question- do you want a peaceful and thriving nation or socialism? 

Even at Tiddlywinks

If someone is competing for the United States in any event, as a patriot, I am for them. I did not watch the Olympics after hearing of all the perversion feted during the opening ceremony, and I am not fond of certain athletes on Team USA, but as an American, I hope my countrymen always prevail over the competitors from other nations. I heard Red China tied America in the gold medal count, but the Communists certainly contravene rules as much as possible to win. Go red, white, and blue- I am always rooting for you!  

Say Anything Ticket

The Harris-Walz team will promise much to be elected but will not follow through with their commitments. Trump will do all that he is able to keep his pledges to voters. He will unilaterally push forward with what he says, and if he has a Republican House and Senate, every assurance he has made will be followed as policy and turned into law. 

A Fair Shake

Most all of the media will not report anything critical of Harris or news that is positive about Trump. They say Trump "claims" while declaring the Harris campaign positions with no skepticism as if they are all facts. The bias aimed against Trump but promoting Kamala is undeniable. 

Another Hidden Candidate

The DemocRATS used COVID as the rationale to hide already fading Biden in his basement during the 2020 campaign. Now, they have hiding Harris, who has not even published her policy positions. If you vote for Kamala, you do not know what you are voting for, but only that you are against Trump, who is telling you exactly where he stands and giving press conferences. Harris will not submit to press inquiries, but said she will have "one before the end of the month", no doubt with handmaiden media. All Trump wants to do is bring us more peace, freedom, and prosperity. Kamala will not tell you where she stands because she does not want you to now just how radical she is. 

Real American Zero

Tim Walz portrayed his military service as more heroic than it actually was and exaggerated his rank. This matters to veterans and bespeaks a lack of integrity. This lack of candor will not matter to most, but it should. I hope the voters realize the Minnesota Governor is a lying socialist who holds positions far to the Left of the mainstream. 

Most Radical Ticket

Harris-Walz does not have a scintilla of moderation, but is in fact radical. Walz is no moderate Midwesterner but a self-identified socialist. Harris is a San Francisco Marxist, who was to the Left of Bernie Sanders in the US Senate. They will not be easy to beat because the DemocRATS will cheat to install them into power. 

Proponent Versus Opponent

Donald Trump is for human freedom. He wants you to be able to drive what you like where you want to go. Kamala Harris wants electric vehicles mandated and fifteen minute cities. She wants you confined to a small area to reduce your carbon footprint )yours, not hers). She is against the freedom to travel because she thinks the SUV you own is destroying the planet. If you enjoy liberty, you know who to vote for in the coming Presidential race. 

The Greatest Crash

When US markets are at their highest levels ever, not because the fundamental value actually had risen, but because the US Dollar has been so devalued, stocks have only one way to go. With thirty-five trillion dollars in debt, what we face is a larger hole than the entire productive economy. Americans can't afford or sustain this. This is a depression in the making, but it was not from investor over-exuberance or consumerism gone wild, but insane and out of control government spending, and unrestrained printing of increasingly worthless fiat currency, along with measures by the Federal Reserve that were meant to tamp down over spending and stock speculation that was not the cause of our current difficulties because in this instance, it was not happening. The government made a bubble with stupid economic and monetary policy that was bound to burst. 

Only in Defense

Israel did not kill two terrorist masterminds recently out of viciousness. Their assassinations were not even vengeance for previous murders of innocent Israelis but to prevent the next attack. The other side is the one that targets innocents, while the IDF protects civilians by eliminating murderers. 

Trump- the Providential

I do not know if President Trump is especially moral or even particularly religious but do realize the the Lord selects His instruments and that they are never perfect. We have a perfect G-d who by necessity finds imperfect men to do his bidding. What the world witnessed in Butler, Pennsylvania was a miracle of survival toward what must be an Inspired destiny. 

Women Were Gentler

Ladies used to be known as the "gentle sex". In woke world, it is impermissible to even define a "woman". I heard an essentially male Olympic boxer beat up an authentic female one, forcing the genuine distaff to retire less than fifty seconds into the bout. My notions might be quaint and antiquated, but I do not like to see women fighting each other and wish there was no such contest as women boxing. 

A Power Vacuum

The United States is as vulnerable to being attacked now, as Joe Biden is clearly only a figurehead, and a greatly diminished one at that, and Kamala Harris is a self-identified "radical", and a stupid one at that. America has sent much of our munitions to the Ukraine, and a bit to Israel, leaving us without sufficient 155 mm artillery rounds to conduct a war of our own if we need to fight for our own survival. We also have an enlistment crisis with no branch of the military suffused with ample personnel. Red China, Iran, North Korea, and the world's terrorists all see glaring weakness, and this invites aggression. 

A Long Reach

If Israelis are murdered, Israel will go to the ends of the earth to avenge their deaths. There is no sanctuary for terrorists who target citizens of the Jewish State, not in Lebanon, and not even in Tehran. You target innocents, and the IDF will eliminate you. 

The Turkish Threat

So Erdogan, the mad mis-leader of Turkey, says he will invade Israel if the IDF retaliates in Lebanon. The Turkish tyrant says the Zionist entity is no different than Libya or Karabakh, but he should remember that Israel has the fourth largest nuclear arsenal in the world (larger that that of France and behind only those of Russia, the United States, and Red China) with means to deliver the most destructive weapons including cruise missiles launched from German-built submarines and now, reputedly, domestically produced hyper-sonic missiles as potent as any in Russia's arsenal. Recep might want to rethink taking on the Jews.

Head of Snake

It is not enough for Israel to simply attack Hezbollah. Iran orchestrated all the recent aggression against the Jewish State, including the one day Holocaust of October 7, 2023. Tehran has gladly sacrificed the "martyrs" of Hamas and Hezbollah, but would be less apt to continue if Iran itself pays a price for the attacks they sponsor. 

Lebanon Will Pay

A dozen Israeli children were murdered in an attack by Hezbollah that came from Lebanon. I would not want to be near any of these terrorists there, because surely the IDF will extract vengeance, and there will be considerably less living jihadists with which the world must contend. 

Relishing the Olympics

I assure you that I am every bit as interested in these Summer Olympics as cricket matches. There is no more amateurism at the highest level of sport, and the leader of America's men's contingent in the Games Mr. James of basketball fame is a great lover of the Chinese Communist Party. I would rather have Enes Freedom Kanter on our basketball team and lose than LeBron and win. I will not be watching. 

Certain Environmental Factors

Trying to figure out why all our dogs except our three year old remaining companion have ended up with cancer, I have to guess that our pups suffered some sort of exposure to carcinogens, particularly since they all lived around creeks, except Bru who lived on a lake when we rescued him. Of course, he was nine years old then and had come from Oklahoma, so I have no idea what he faced in his earlier life. Everything drains into the creeks, from chemicals used to treat lawns, to people's pest control products, even to antifreeze and motor oil handled carelessly. We did not let our dogs roam unsupervised or to bathe or swim in the streams, but they were occasionally in and out of those tainted waters. Of course, your dog can't live in bubble wrap. Whatever took the other pups, we will try hard to keep Zari away from it. 

Cancer for All

Every dog I have had in my adult lifetime developed cancer. What is causing this horror? Is it commercial dog food? Is it our environment? Is it something in the flea and tick preventatives or the heart worm blocking medication? Is it vaccines? It is uncanny, every single dog ending up with cancer! 

Down to One

When we had five dogs in the house, it was sometimes chaotic, but it sure was fun. Now, we are down to the Highlander pup, the sole survivor. She is young (relatively) with Border Collie energy and (maybe) intellect. The problem is that she is headstrong, potentially to her own detriment. She will receive much attention now, and we know she loves us. 

A Great Dog

Over eleven years ago, I drove Mom to Medina, Tennessee, where we "rescued" a pair of eight month old puppy brothers. They were "twins" and litter mates who had cost nine hundred dollars apiece when they were purchased together just after they weaned, but ended up discounted to fifty dollars each or both for seventy-five dollars when we were informed by Paws New England they were listed so cheap in a Craigslist ad that they might end up as bait dogs for pit bulls. They were called "Gizmo" and "Peta" from the Gremlins movie. Well, Peta vomited all over his brother and our minivan on the ride back to their forever home in Nashville. Gizmo became Gizzy and passed away from complications of cancer last winter, and Peta who became "Sage" left us yesterday after his cancer had infiltrated most all of his major organs. They were great companions and will be sorely missed. 

Biden Train Wrecked

The smoldering hulk of faded Joe's campaign just mercifully came to a grinding halt. There was much "et tu, Brute" at the end as the rats jumped off the sinking ship. Biden is being replaced with his oh so successful border Czar, who is noted mostly for her cackle. We will see in November though who has the last laugh. 

Agenda, Not Candidate

When somebody is selling horse manure, the salesman does not matter so much as the product. If a different vendor is selected, what is being sold will still stink. 

The Other Convention

We have all seen the pitiful little man behind the current and know he is no source of awe. If the DemocRATS maintain the dementia patient as their chosen leader, the will lose by historic margins, but if they open their convention up and have a new selection process, many will tune in to find out who they ultimately pick. A certain excitement returns to the scene and enthusiasm for someone new is likely to come with it. If the party sticks with the senile influence peddler, we can welcome Trump forty-seven in January. 

An Evangelical Fervor

I have never seen as much enthusiasm at a political convention as at the just concluded GOP gathering in Milwaukee. In some aspects, the event had the feel of the best aspects of a tent revival, but staged on the grandest scale. If the election were today, I believe that Donald Trump would prevail in a landslide. 

No More Tokenism

Donald Trump did not pick the woman, or a Black guy, but the person he thought was most capable of fulfilling his expectations of a Vice President, and that happens to be a white fellow from a hardscrabble background, who is beyond question, an achiever of the highest level. No criticism of Nikki Haley (although she did become a turncoat to Trump), or Tim Scott, who may be a President in the future, or Dr. Ben Carson, who is also undeniably brilliant, but Trump was not interested in checking boxes. He was interested in assigning the best person for the job, and to his mind that is James David Vance. 

A Rousing Convention

To this point, the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee has been the most exciting I have seen in my half century plus on this earth. The reason is not the speeches, though they are inspiring. It is not the staging (although that too has been professional). It is the MIRACLE that preceded the event. 

Build Back Stamina

My wonder now as I (hopefully) recover from Coronavirus is how long will it take to regain my strength. I was walking on ten degree days or hundred degree days five miles and a minimum of eleven thousand steps as measured by the pedometer on my phone. During the whole time of the pandemic, I did this literally only missing my target one day when I started watching a subtitled movie with my 5 miles already in, but when it ended after midnight realized I had only trod 10,959 steps before I sat down and became engrossed in the show. Since I developed symptoms, I have not been able to make it close to my normal daily distance and have been too sick to try or even care. When (if) the virus eases, will my energy pop back up or will I have to build back slowly? Wish me luck. 

The COVID Train

Trying to look on the bright side of being as sick as I have been in memory (I nearly died as an infant but have no recollection of that), the virus helped me lose eleven pounds in two days without even trying. Still, there are better ways to shed a few lbs. 

This Really Sucks

After avoiding COVID for several years, I finally had a close personal encounter. I could have lived without it. Between the roasting and the chills, the difficulty in breathing, I can say "all in all, I'd rather be in Philadelphia". 

A Sick Writer

Please bear with me if my writing is less prolific for a few days. I am battling my first fever since before COVID emerged. Hopefully, this too shall pass in short order, sparing the author of this blog. 

Birthing a Monster

A "State of Palestine" will be conceived in rape and born in the blood of Jews. It is not an insignificant minority of Muslims in the Holy Land that favor the destruction of the Jewish States and the Jews that exist there. Almost no so-called "Palestinians" favor coexistence, and those that do keep their opinions quiet about it, because other Palestinians would quickly kill them if their views on living alongside Jews became public. Their is no peace constituency on the Arab side, and most Jews who may have held pacifist ideology before October 7, 2023 do not want and are not going to commit suicide. 

One Jew's Perspective

I watched the Biden spectacle tonight. Fading Joe placed the onus for the conflict not on the bloody-handed terrorists who initiated the war, but on Netanyahu and Israel's "conservative war cabinet" (which it was not particularly at the inception of the fighting as the now departed Benny Gantz was liberal to his core and joined the government to demonstrate unity in the face of the most horrific barbarism the Jewish State had ever faced and the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust). Biden also failed to mention the hostages still being held, including American citizens, and continued to insist on the risible notion that two states will soon exist side by side when one is comprised of murderers who want to obliterate the other. Corrupt old Joe is a tragic joke whose punchline will be millions of unnecessary deaths. 

Bright Day Dawning

DemocRAT leaders are shocked that polls show unprecedented gains for Trump among Hispanic and Black voters. They should not be. Did they think Latinos want MS-13 thugs marauding through their neighborhoods? Did they think African-Americans want their wages cut by a glut of labor streaming in from the Third World? Could DemocRAT honchos not see everyone wants safe communities? I think Americans from all backgrounds now realize Biden is a hollow shell, and nobody from any race or ethnicity wants to vote for that. 

Chance with Trump

Israel has a better prospect of survival with Trump as President rather than Biden or the candidate DemocRATS would choose to replace him with during Joe's current glaring incapacity. The former President has no magic wand to wave to mend the world, but he is better on a policy basis than fading Joe or the captives to the "Squad" that increasingly anti-Jewish party would summon. Trump consistently had the proverbial back of the Jewish State and was the President who finally moved the US embassy to Jerusalem. If you are an American Jew who does not vote with the Republicans this time, you are actively harming Israel. 

The Next Question

Let us take this administration at its word.  We will (for the moment) accept that Biden is not being treated for Parkinson's disease. The next question the White House press corps must ask is "what is the President being treated for?" That is the logical next step. 

My Fearful Prediction

If DemocRATS remain in power in Washington, Israel as a Jewish state will cease to exist within five years, and as many Jews as those murdered in the Holocaust will be slaughtered yet again. You might consider that when you go out to vote in November, particularly if you want your Jewish neighbors to survive. 

Open an Office?

With so much remote employment now, nobody in their right mind would develop office space. My hometown of Nashville is a boom city, but there is copious office space for lease at low prices, and it seems few are interested in renting it. Of course, doctors and lawyers still need space to meet patients and clients, but for so much else in our economy, physical office space is now unneeded. 

Gas So High

Over this holiday weekend, gasoline prices in America are outrageous. They are so high that a Saudi sheikh sent me a thank you note for the gold bidet he was able to buy his fourth wife with the proceeds from my fuel purchase. Yep, even the filling station saw how expensive their 87 octane was, so they made me an offer: I could have the petrol in exchange for my first born, but that did not seem very practical, as that was who I was traveling to pick up. I thought about selling my plasma to fill the tank, but I would have run out of blood in the process. At least under Trump, you could afford a drive to the beach. 

Biden's Holiday Message

Old Joe told the DemocRAT governors that he "needs more sleep". Yep, those days of putting the work in from ten in the morning to four in the afternoon are awfully hard on him, as difficult as say the work-a-day Americans are now facing, who have to decide if they are able to afford a second meal today, or have to forego their medicine to pay for their food, or if they need the gasoline to be able to get to their workplace more than sustenance and can go two full days without eating. Yes indeed, Biden has it so tough that he has spent forty percent of his Presidency on vacation and when he puts in his labor, has the shortest workdays of any President since Woodrow Wilson suffered his stroke. The good news is that unless the cheating in the coming election is enormous, Biden will be able to go on holiday for the rest of his life in January 2025. 

Detestable Dependence Day

America has a particular political party that wants as many people on the dole as possible, reliant on them and always voting their self-interest to keep them in power. This would be the DemocRATS who now even want illegal alien sneak-ins on our welfare roles. The US should never grant benefits to those who have come here from abroad and not paid into the system. 

Behind the Scenes

The decision may already be out of Biden's hands. There are machinations afoot within the DemocRAT party apparatus to replace Joe on the ticket. Some of the tactics will involve direct pressure in meetings with Governors from that party, and other means may even include invoking the Twenty-fifth Amendment although Biden's immediate circle is said to be reluctant to become the first administration to ever remove their putative leader by this means. Given these considerations (even with nothing else involved), it clearly demonstrates that Biden is incapable of serving a second term. 

No Questions Answered

Biden demonstrated he could still read a bit off a teleprompter yesterday, even inadvertently blurting out "end of quote" as he spoke. Then, with the press pool shouting questions,  Joe wheeled around and slipped away. Biden did not even attempt to answer one query because he can no longer think of spontaneous answers at all. SAD!

The Puppet Master?

I guarantee you Ron Klain was NEVER making the decisions in the White House. Jill Biden likely has more influence than many give her credit for, as Joe would not move forward with his wife's approval. I do not think Obama respects Biden in the slightest or ever did anything but use him to show the "moderate face" of what was actually a radical administration. My bet is that Susan Rice is conveying Barack Hussein Obama's policy desires to Team Biden, and they are dutifully carrying them out with Joe never having very much influence over what is done in his name. 

Were You Fooled?

In this information technology, mass media, instant access world, did you not find it odd that you had almost no interviews with Biden, little real time, live engagement with him, and even had Joe skip the softball Super Bowl conversation the last two times? The reason the President does not reach out to the public is because he can't do it anymore. Biden's deterioration is so pronounced that he no longer is able to communicate, even in friendly forums. Did you not realize Biden is a mere figurehead for other quite likely malign forces pulling Joe's strings outside of the view of the American People. 

Americans Being Played

Do you think the debate was the first time Biden experienced a cerebral melt down of the sort that he could not be understood because much of what he was trying to say was nonsense? With no malice, I say Joe is past the point of being able to perform in office, and his aides and family have had to have seen this decline for quite a while. You do not wake up one day after being the Commander-in-Chief and suddenly not be able to place a carryout order that could be understood. Biden is obviously not running anything and has not for some time. The poor fellow could not conduct a pre-K class much less administer to the needs of a country, and those in his sphere have been aware of this and made him their figurehead. Presidents of the United States are not meant to be puppets, but leaders. 

Really Bad Strategy

Biden had been hiding fairly successfully since he initially took on Trump to gain the nation's highest office. Joe had several excuses to avoid debate in this current cycle. He could have said "I will not lower the Presidency by engaging with a  common criminal", Biden could have declared "the nation's needs are too pressing for me to take time out to debate". He could have blurted out that he could not take time out from his oversight of "the Ukraine crisis" or the "terrible events in the Middle East", but he decided to walk right into a bear trap instead. Poor old man, woefully advised dementia sufferer, why did you take the bait? 

Get the Message

The glaringly obvious conclusion that must be drawn from watching charges dropped against Hamas enthusiasts across the United States (from New York to Austin, Texas and beyond) is that it is open season on Jews here in America. The so-called "Soros prosecutors" who adamantly pursue Trump and his supporters can't find anything criminal in intimidating Jews and not allowing Jewish students access to and use of the facilities their tuition helps pay for and Jewish professors the ability to even enter universities where they (formerly) worked and hold tenure (at least notionally). In Malmo, Sweden, this sort of capitulation to darkness makes some sense, where an angry group that was once a fringe minority is approaching a majority, but New York City where the Columbia chaos took place has the largest Jewish population of any city in the world. How can the Jews be so cowed there? 

Framed in Deceit

The upcoming debate is sure to be biased against Donald Trump. The moderators are both Trump haters of the first order who have demonized the former President at every occasion but gone out of their way to treat the flailing Biden with kid gloves. Trump is the challenger, so he had to accept what the incumbent would grant, but there will be no fairness or even-handedness in this three to one pile-on. I doubt the debate will have that much suasion though, as when people vote, they will reflect on three plus years and not just one night. 

Nazi Enforcement Tactic

Law enforcement is NOT being hard in dealing with antisemitic mobs, but police are arresting Jews when we start defending ourselves. Daniel Greenfield chronicled this on Sunday in Los Angeles. Some folks have called cops "Nazis" here in America. It certainly looks like these critics of authority may have a point at least when it comes to what just happened in California. 

Los Angeles Pogrom

I see a great deal of coverage that there was a "clash" or "protesters and counter-protesters" at a Los Angeles synagogue yesterday. This is biased reporting against the Jewish People. What happened was Jews were attacked by a large number of terror supporters who obviously launched an organized effort at our place of worship. Jews did not go to a mosque to intimidate other Americans, but Hamas enthusiasts planned and carried out a coordinated assault on Adas Torah Shul. I did not think such things could happen in my country! 

What Debate Means

I think in many instances, debates do make a great difference, but in the case of the current political campaign, the event will have little impact as both Presidential candidates have track records serving in the office already. Biden and Trump are known quantities, and nothing they say on a particular night is going to change the perspective voters already hold of them. I will watch, but nothing either candidate says will erase or alter the record each left in the office. That being said, expectations have been lowered so much for old Joe that if he stands up throughout the proceedings without babbling incoherently, it will be judged that he has prevailed, while Trump will have to contend with hostile moderators, and is facing a one versus three telecast. No matter the outcome, or manipulated perceptions of the performance, I am still voting Trump because Biden is destroying our nation and has destabilized the world. 

An Inevitable Attack

If less than thirty terrorists were able to pull off the September 11, 2001 massacre, think what one hundred battle-hardened jihadists could do. Do you not think in eleven million-plus sneak-ins, that many fanatics have entered our now vulnerable nation? 

The Border Disorder

Team Biden is crowing that border encounters are down 25% in recent days since their brilliant leader tweaked asylum rules. Joe finally did this because folks are about to vote in a Presidential election. If he was able to do this now, it clearly means Biden could have done this anytime during his first three years. Joe had the power, but he lacked the will to maintain the more successful border policies of his immediate predecessor. I feel much better now though knowing that there will be a quarter less Tajik jihadists sneaking across the border to try to make their way to a concert hall near us to slaughter the audience. 

Such Optimistic Times

America has made such progress that even a man who could not baby sit a toddler can serve as President of the nation. Fading Joe is unambiguously impaired, yet his hand remains on the nuclear button. If that does not inspire confidence, and make you want to vote Biden again for another term, you must be a pessimist. 

Took His Swings

One of the greatest baseball players of all-time has died. Willie Mays was the oldest living Hall of Famer prior to his death at the ripe old age of ninety-three. Mays was arguably the best all-around player, being able to get to balls with his speed that few other outfielders ever could have caught and spectacularly robbing hits from his opponents. He had a strong arm and was innately smart about when to use it. He hit for power, despite being relatively small for an athlete. In the pantheon of great players, Willie is right there with the Babe, Ted Williams, and Hammering Hank.  

Start Something Big

The Boston Celtics have triumphed. They secured their unprecedented eighteenth pro basketball championship. This group seems to be true team players with no overbearing personality insisting they are the star and heart of the team. It is not often you find great competitors so free of ego. If they stay together and healthy, these Boston ballers have to be the odds on favorite to win the next championship as well. 

Ride That Kangaroo

The Biden campaign is engaging in industrial scale election interference by using the Courts to take down Donald Trump. With their ad denouncing Trump for his felonies, the Biden team has made this manipulation transparent and obvious. I pray enough Americans see this tactic for what it is and that the election itself is conducted fairly enough to restore the former President to the White House and America back to her Founding Principles under Trump's leadership. 

Projecting Such Weakness

Has the United States ever presented a lack of strength the way America is now? We are not showing our enemies a Commander-in Chief, but a bumbler who can't ever figure out where to stand or which direction to face. It is a mortification on the global stage, that the foes of our nation have never witnessed before, because when Woodrow Wilson suffered his debilitating stroke in office, he was hidden away in the White House, not paraded around as if nothing was wrong with him the way Biden is. It is incomprehensible that in our mass media age that every American not in the same sinking diminished capacity boat as Biden is does not realize that the puppet in the Oval Office has fallen to a terrible and obvious cognitive decline. 

Still Some Life

Some may have thought the Mavericks had their goose cooked when they fell behind the Celtics three games to nil in the current professional basketball championship series. The Dallas cagers proved last night that they still had quite a bit of fight left in them. I am not saying they will somehow sweep the next three contests and claim the title, but they certainly demonstrated last night that they belong on the same court as mighty Boston. 

A Union Overreach

A small coffee house chain in the somewhat tarnished Golden State (only three stores) was just closed by its owner after the employees voted to unionize. The workers already received health and dental insurance along with pay exceeding California's high minimum wage. The proprietor told staff that the locations had already been losing money for years, but labor nevertheless voted for collective bargaining. This left the boss with no choice (from his prospective) but to shutter the doors. The work force should have realized that any enterprise other than government is unable to simply print more money, and that they could push their now former employer too far. 

The Real Offense

Hunter Biden does not seem to have always made great life choices. The one aspect of Hunter's misadventures that is undeniable is that he had nothing to offer to his foreign contacts, save for who his father happens to be. I do not see energy firms offering random crack users in America millions of dollars if their Dad does not happen to be the nation's Vice President, and in this context "Vice" has a double meaning. 

A Terrifying Abdication

I really hoped, even prayed, that Meir Kahane was wrong, and that in America at least, the government would protect Jews. I watched family friend Melba Lapidus murdered in a blast and never having her killer brought to justice. I sadly witnessed the killer of Sammy Schlanger, a Jewish attorney in my hometown of Nashville, never be caught. I thought perhaps that was merely incompetent policing, but now fear that perhaps the authorities just did not care sufficiently about my fellow Jews to really look that hard into their murders. At UCLA last night, I watched the Chabad rabbi threatened with murder right in front of police who refused to make any arrest, saying they were only there for "crowd control". Even in the United States, it seems the authorities who are charged with upholding everyone's rights including the protection of our lives have abandoned their duty to the one most vulnerable minority. Jews are left to fend for ourselves. 

First Amendment Issue

The Tennessee Star has published portions of the demented Covenant School murderer's manifesto and some evidence from the investigation of the massacre that took six innocent souls. The publishers are now threatened with incarceration for contempt of court. The caprice of a local judge should never be allowed to trump the free speech protections of the United States Constitution. 

New Day Dawning?

It is possible, that in France and Belgium at least, that the Left is in the process of losing power to more conservative parties. The Left kept pushing anti-farming policies which amount to being anti-humanity, but the Right in Europe brings different connotations than in America. Too often in the Old World, "Right" means authentic Hitler-loving Nazis, as we saw with Jorg Haider in Austria and see in the Azov thugs in Ukraine. Pro-native parties coming into power that oppose unfettered migration and support productive agriculture would be a benefit to the whole world. 

Prestige, Even Credibility

The United States has slipped into a morass where the President will either clearly be cognitively impaired or a convicted felon. Many nations hate America deeply, and the looming choice of leaders for the nation of Honest Abe will only reinforce their perception of our once being great to now descending to the status of a fallen country. The one redeeming fact is Trump is not actually guilty of the crimes for which he was convicted in a manipulated trial. The other certainty is that Joe Biden's mental decline will only worsen. 

Modern Day Miracle

After eight months of captivity and the horrors that accompany being held by conscienceless terrorists, four of the Israeli hostages have been rescued including Noa Argamani, the terrified concert goer seen pleading as she was spirited away on a motorcycle on October 7, 2023, during a precise operation carried out by Israel's police and intelligence forces. Freed along with her were Andrey Kozlov, Shlomi Ziv, and Almog Meir all recovered alive during two separate but simultaneous assaults of hideouts in Nuseirat, according to a news release in the Jerusalem Post. This masterstroke must be counted with Entebbe as a success for the tiny beleaguered state that seemed impossible before the mission was executed. Some might even see the hand of G-d in the amazing feat. 

The Take Down

If a malign force in government wants you in a prison, it is likely you will end up in one. Leona Helmsley once pointed out that in the tax year the prosecutors ferreted out her "tax crime", she and her husband paid several hundred million dollars in taxes, yet government attorneys found a way to first smear her ("only the little people pay taxes" which is something she may well have never said and certainly with the tax burden she and her husband maintained, never really believed) and then incarcerate the elderly lady. Martha Stewart was obviously such a danger to society that she needed to be behind bars at least in the mind of some government thug seeking a famous scalp. Now, our once and hopefully future President must have rubbed someone the wrong way or more likely became too much of a threat to entrenched power. 

Saving the World?

On this date in 1944, intrepid young men rushed Hitler's Fortress Europe to end the Nazi march of conquest and the massacre of the Jews. Today, self-identified Nazis of the Azov Brigade are feted as the heroic fighters stopping the Russians and preserving the "freedom" of the West. Jews faced the worst slaughter they have since Hitler was vanquished just this last October 7. It is good all those brave soldiers stormed those beaches, but it sure does not look like the world changed much for the better despite their heroics.
