Blame the Shooter

Guns are inanimate objects. A gun has never loaded itself and gone out and shot anybody. An evil man with a warped mentality committed this massacre. The murderer in Las Vegas also was a pilot, who might have killed as many or more innocent people by flying a plane into a building, crowd, or packed stadium. He obviously did not care to survive his murder spree because he killed himself before he was ever confronted by law enforcement. All the gun control laws anyone can enact could not stop every murder because determined people willing to lay down their own lives can do quite heinous things with or without firearms (see Tim McVeigh, who used a bomb to kill many more innocents than the Vegas killer, and the September 11 terrorists who used box cutters and passenger jets to kill three thousand).
