London Olympic Threat

Arrests have been made and extreme vigilance has been evinced with authorities even surrounding a bus on the major tollway when a passenger tried to surreptitiously take a smoke, but this hyper-sensitivity to a potential terror threat is absolutely proper now with the stakes so high. London was already subjected to lethal jihad on July 7, 2005 when bombs blasted mass transit and blood gushed on the streets and in the tubes of London. The Olympics themselves are no strangers to the bloody hand of terror with both the 1972 Munich Olympics and the 1996 Atlanta Olympics being stuck. Let us hope and pray that the determined effort to safeguard the events and attendees of these latest Summer Games is a complete success.
