Another French Strike

My father last visited France in the late 1950's and early 1960's, and even then was warned to conceal his American identity as much as possible, as France was then riven with anti-American unrest and strikes. Over a half century, France is still afflicted with much hate towards the US, and has just endured another strike. I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same, at least in Paris.
