All Just Dross

Americans do not need to be suffering today. The loss of prosperity is deliberate harm, as is the diminution of freedom. We used to produce quality goods at affordable prices in the United States, but that has been ended by government interference. Regulation, on its face may seem well-intentioned, but if it pushes all domestic production out in favor of slave labor in Red China (and other despotic places), you have done grevious harm to your own people, and you have left yourself dependent on adversaries. Restriction of carbon-based products is cost-raising and economy-destroying lunacy, before you have affordable, widely available replacements. The shut down of so much of the private economy using the pandemic as a rationale broke people financially and likely killed more folks than it saved. Everything America did to address COVID might have caused more damage than letting the virus run its course and having many more millions survive with more durable natural immunity than short-lived vaccines and boosters, that have evidently failed, requiring more of each that will likely need the administration of numerous doses throughout patient's lives and without yet knowing the long-term effects of even the first dose. Every business is essential to the folks it supports. Government should not pick winners and losers in a free country. The USA is not beyond saving, but political leadership must turn on a dime away from their fascist, socialist, and corporate crony agenda to spare the citzenry great and irreversible trauma, beyond even what was suffered during the Great Depression. One quick fix to the "Putin Price Hike" (which is in itself a falsehood), would be to reopen the tap of oil production in America, and drill baby drill, but the Biden cabal will never do that.

Slowing the Surge

The flow of illegal aliens into the United States will naturally diminish as the Biden regime makes the economy progressively worse. Foreigners will have no reason to try to sneak into America when things are just as bad in Cleveland or Corpus Christi as they are in Caracas. Wrecking America will go a long way to abating sneak-in problems at the Southern border. Why leave a horrible place to journey somewhere just as bad, and pay large sums and risk your life to do it?

The Deadly Magnet

Fading, corrupt old Joe is killing folks in a number of different ways. His open border mayhem just murdered more than forty trapped on a truck. Virtually everyday, someone drowns illegally crossing the Rio Grande into the US. They are coming in droves, because they know if they make it into America, there is virtually no chance they will be sent back out. This lures them to danger. They also die on trails and in deserts of exposure and dehydration. They are exploited and raped along the way, often being prayed upon by (human) coyotes and drug gangs. They are often forced to carry narcotics with them or do it voluntarily with some becoming rich through smuggling the poison Fentanyl. This drug is particularly toxic and kills many Americans every day. Biden is also incentivizing sneak across with generous welfare and handouts, rarely or never available before to people who entered the US illegally. This is a nightmare regime bent on importing death and causing carnage on both sides of the border to advance what they see as a change in voter demographics that favors their side, all the while rapidly destroying our nation as Founded.

Answer to Prayers

The United States Supreme Court once again upheld first Liberties, this time with the excellent prayer decision. Hallelujah- Americans can pray in public. America is not a country free of religion, but a place citizens are free to practice their faiths!

A Prodigal Nation

Can a country awash in innocent blood ever be welcomed back into the Father's house? I would say that if it turns from sin that America can once again be a Providential polity.

Path to Redemption

Over a century and a half after the last Negro slaves were emancipated in the United States, some still demand reparations. No individual alive today either owned a slave or was a slave in America. A substantial portion, if not most American families, had their first progenitor reach US shores after slavery was abolished. Why should someone from the great waves of Eastern European or Italian immigration that occurred after the Civil War be forced to pay for an event that did not involve anyone connected to their families? Beyond that, few Southerners even owned slaves before the War Between the States. Do you think white sharecroppers had the means to afford a slave? Of course, there were some great fortunes built on the great crime of owning other people, including in the plantation economy that the ultra-rich participated in before Emancipation, but this was a tiny minority of whites, many of whom were dipossessed and destroyed financially by Reconstruction. Yet calls for reparations persist. If someone owes the Black community something in the United States, it should be Planned Parenthood with genocidal Margaret Sanger at the helm pushing "purebred" white Americans and locating abortion mills primarily in areas with high concentrations of African-Americans. At least now with Roe being overturned, Blacks will see a greater chance of taking a first breath outside the womb with the Eugenicists being pushed to the back foot in parts of the United States where they will find it harder to prey on African-Americans.

A Consecrated Nation

The United States may yet save herself with a return to Biblical morality. Sixty-three million unborn babies must never be forgotten as the Lambs they were and the people they could have been, but perhaps the Lord will forgive us as individuals and a country if we turn away from the sin and bloodlust of abortion on demand. Ripping a baby from the womb to destroy a life is NOT contraception but the murder of an innocent. Please God forgive America for the bloodbath of the last half century since the lie of Roe.

Mixed Bag Day

The Congress and President are rushing to take your heretofore legal guns while the US Supreme Court is expanding your right to carry those same weapons for self-defense. It is a topsy-turvy day in Washington D.C. in our schizophrenic nation.

Never Seen Before

When you hit your mid-fifties, there is little left that can shock you, but last night I saw something novel. We were dining at a Cracker Barrel in Nashville and a relatively large group from Hawaii that had visited the Vanderbilt campus was eating there as well. I watched a late teen Asian girl drink from her straw with her mask on and eat her meal lifting the mask up between bites. This child had been so warped by the pandemic propaganda that it must be scary to live. I feel sorry for her and hope some day she is able to shake off the insanity that has been foisted on her.

Divide and Destroy

The United States should not have national holidays that have a polarizing affect on our country. Juneteenth is used by some to separate people by race and stoke racial animus. It seems part of the twisted triangulation strategy Bill Clinton first employed to get us a each other's throats rather than being a holiday aimed at unifying Americans.

The Consecrated Country

A nation that celebrates perversions and slaughters babies can no longer call itself "under God". America today venerates Satan.

Fell From Grace

Millions of Americans were glad to see Trump go. They despised the Donald, and that provided enormous good will to whoever replaced the forty-fifth President. Many of those never Trumpers now regret their vote and now wish the last President was still leading the Ubited States. Biden has forfeited the support of millions.

Loss of Face

Old Joe fell off his bicycle. Kind of in the same manner as his regime is leading America over the cliff. If you want the United States to survive (at least as founded), don't be lemmings, vote the DemocRAT scoundrels out in November. They are destroying the prosperity and freedom of our nation.

The Double Whammy

Joe Biden is seeing to it that everything costs more in the United States at the same time that his mishandling of US markets means our portfolios, managed pension plans that invest in American stocks, and 401(k)s are worth less. This figurehead is a disaster licking an ice cream cone, but apparently to those in the know, is still better than his potential replacement Kamala, who is as obnoxious as she is incapable of performing routine administative tasks, which is why the Twenty-fifth Amendment will never be invoked as these lunatics destroy America faster than most thought possible.

Another Vaccine Casualty?

While my heart goes out to the Casten family over the sudden and unexpected loss of their seventeen year old daughter, I have to wonder if the COVID vaccine played any role in her death. Just like watching soccer players collapse on the pitch, when all would assume that they are at the peak of health and conditioning, I have to wonder if this young woman had taken her coronavirus jabs.

Who Was Fooled?

President Trump, who I would vote for again in a heartbeat, brought the COVID vaccines to the market faster than any previous vaccine and quicker than most thought possible. Did the rush for the new drugs compromise safety, and if so, was Trump at least partially responsible? If the pharmaceutical companies thought what they were making was "safe and effective", why did they demand liability shields before releasing their products to market? Did government employees profit from some of the vaccine patents, and if so, who and how much? I know the vaccines did not put a penny in Trump's pocket, but what about the rest including Fauci? Trump had to do something fast to reopen the US economy at the start of the pandemic, but did he do the right thing?

The American Implosion

If a foreign enemy ever overtly attacked the USA virtually every American would rally to the nation's defense, making us unbeatable. Our enemies have realized this for generations, which is why they have plotted our defeat from within, through internal subversion. I would submit that external forces have installed operatives throughout our soceity to vanquish us, from school board members who hate the United States as Founded right up to our bribe-taking First Family. Those helping bring us down may not have signed up to be part of a conspiracy knowingly, but if they have been educated to hate their own country and are determined to indoctrinate future leaders to do the same, it is little different than if they were receiving a check from the CCP to do it. Some would term then "useful idiots", but they certainly are useless ones in advancing America's interests at home or abroad. They are in fact betraying the United States, perhaps without meaning to do so.

Way It Is

An anti-American cabal is deliberately inducing the collapse of the United States. Everyone with any sense knows we remain a petroleum dependent economy. So why undercut domestic oil production? It is much more costly and potentially environmentallly damaging to bring supertankers from the Middle East rather than pipelines from our own continent. Those in charge do not love the earth and are not really concerned about climate. They just hate us, the working citizenry.

Rebuking Natan Sharansky

Some years back I remember Natan Sharansky advocating "democracy", with a primary rationale being democracies do not make war on each other. Russia is at least nominally a democracy but did not hesitate to invade the Ukraine, another democracy. Of course, a wholly-corrupt democracy may not have been what Natan was envisioning, but that is about all the world has left in the realm of democracies.

No Victory Complete

So long as any territory in the Ukraine is not controlled by Russia, Putin will not credibly say he has won. It may be impossible to subdue more than forty million liberty-loving people. Dying Putin may have bitten off more than he can chew.

If Russia Wins?

If Putin prevails and somehow subdues the Ukraine, will the world still boycott wheat grown in that region? It would almost certainly trigger famine, particularly in the so-called Third World, if the world isolates "Greater Russia". I do not know if other nations are so willing to cut off their own noses as it were to punish a victorious Russia.

Purveyors of Perversion

Children essentially universally adore unicorns and rainbows. The most corrupted portion of society has appropriated these cherished symbols to represent their cause. If this is not "grooming", what is? I have a seven year old daughter, who adorns herself with unicorn everything, without noticing any sexual association. The perverse agenda being foisted on the most innocent is glaringly apparent to this Dad. This advertising for dangerous and disgusting lifestyles by glomming onto what for generations was innocent symbology may not be a revelation for some but to me was an epiphany. They really are coming for our children!

The Safest Schools

If America armed our teachers the way Joe Biden armed the Taliban, the United States would never face another school attack. If we spent even half of the amount of what was left behind in Afghanistan on hardening classrooms, our childen would be safe from attacks (approximately forty-two and one half billion of the 85 billion dollars of military equipment that was abandoned to the protectors of those who attacked our nation on September 11, 2001). If we love the next generation beyond lip service, we would provide ample protection to places of learning.

Knocking Off Judges

For a society to not fall into total chaos, our judicial system has to be fair and must be respected. American judges must not be subjected to threats and have to be protected; otherwise, we do not have the rule of law but anarachy.

A Deliberate Obfuscation

One item the Leftists running New York state are banning is body armor. In many of the so-called mass shootings, it has been reported that the perpetrator has been wearing a "bullet proof vest". In almost every case, the gunman has actually been wearing a load-bearing carrier for his magazines that will not block the rounds fired at him by first responders. The Buffalo massacre may be different. That murderer may have indeed been protected by Kevlar or ceramic, but that is the exception rather than the rule. A lot of folks that handle cash or are well-known and therefore targeted own "executive protection concealable armor" to protect themselves and that does not threaten anyone. These devices should not face any bans, but the media has hyped up that law enforcement does not have the ability to take down these mass killers who are better protected than the knights of yore. Almost none of the shooters were even wearing armor and the very few who were could still have been easily stopped by a head shot.

Hitler or Stalin?

Sometimes, there are no good choices. Putin is not Hitler, but an argument could be made that he is closest in his action to dead old Adolf as anyone in power today. Vladimir has, after all, launched a war of aggression against a peaceful neighbor. The Ukraine is no Utopia, and may well have been one of the most politically corrupt places on earth, but I did not see columns of Ukrainian tanks streaming toward Moscow. There is no perfect party or totally innocent one ine the Russia-Ukraine War, but if you accept that countries should not attack other non-threatening nations, then you should support the self-defense of the Ukraine.

Something Drastically Wrong

Two catastrophic events have recently taken place in Texas. The school shooting where law enforcement failed to intervene for agonizing minutes and the escape of a murderer that led to a family being massacred. Texas purports itself to be a "law and order" state, but look at the border crossings into the Lone Star state going virtually unchecked, the rampant homelessness in state capital Austin, the soaring crime and murder rates in Houston, and it is obvious a great deal is amiss in one of the nation's largest states. I fear that in spite of a "tough on crime" reputation, Texas is becoming lawless.

For Everyone Else

I was in no way saying yesterday that doctors should not be amply compensated. Where else are you going to preserve and extend your lives?

Treatments Versus Cures

I have and had numerous relatives and friends who are members of the medical community including some in research. I broached the subject once of looking for "cures" for particular diseases. I was stunned to hear this physician say that "cures are not sought. If you cure a disease you are only paid once, but if you find a treatment, you have a patient for life". That mercenary aspect of medicine confounds me to this day.

Global Warming Leader

Fading old Joe is like the tub of ice cream you forgot in the car on the hottest day of summer. He is melting, as is his ill-gotten regime. Unfortunately, it is the American people and those who want freedom the world over who are suffering for Biden's dogmatism and incompetence.

The Double Game

We have seen since Ted Kennedy drowned a girl and growing worse in recent years a double standard in regard to the laws of the United States wherein DemocRATS who commit crimes with political overtones are rarely prosecuted and when they are, are almost never convicted while heretofore legal activity by members of the GOP are now prosecuted as crimes. This pattern seems to have prevailed once again in the Sussmann case, just as it did with many of the BLM DemocRAT foot soldiers either never charged with crimes they had actually committed or given slaps on the wrist while Trump supporters who were waved into the Capitol by police languish in jail. When you have different application of law based on political affiliation, you have no justice at all.
