Prudent Packing Primer

There seems to be some confusion among our Democrat neighbors as to what packing the US Supreme Court means. The definition is really quite simple. Filling a vacancy on the Court is NOT packing. Raising the number of Justices beyond nine (the current number which has prevailed over one hundred and fifty years) is. The last President who threatened to pack the Court was FDR when some of his New Deal socialism was challenged in the Federal Courts. Roosevelt relented when the chastened Court allowed most of his Progressivism to stand. Joe Biden is being coy about whether he will pack the Court. The fact that Biden is noncommital now is actually an admission that he will pack the Court.
