A Losing Proposition

I do not think the majority of Trump voters want an ACA replacement that is as bad or worse than ObamaCare. It is a tragedy that what is on offer is ObamaCare with penalties paid to insurance companies rather than government if the plan holder becomes medically uninsured a portion of the year. Apparently, the death panel Independent Payment Advisory Board remains untouched in the Paul Ryan replacement bill. If Trump accepts this as a final ObamaCare substitute, he will not earn a second term and the Republicans may well lose both the US House and Senate.
