No Real Difference

Are there any distinctions between the policies of a Republican governor like Arnold Schwarzenegger, a doppelganger mayor like Mike Bloomberg who has shifted from Democrat to Republican, to independent, and the President of the USA, Barack Hussein Obama himself? There are differences in scope of power as only Obama can print money, but the goals of these nanny state ninny, control freak socialists is essentially the same. They all aim for equal outcomes, using redistributionist tools, and in so doing, ration freedom, curtailing our liberties as we have heretofore known them and distorting the markets with supposedly benevolent intervention. Even the whole US Senate has signed on as an arm of the socialist Republic, voting to warp the real estate market still further by extending the first-time home buyers federal income tax credit but reducing it from $8000 to $6500 while enlarging the eligibility to those who have not owned a home in the last three years, and voting unanimously to extend unemployment benefits for fourteen additional weeks which I do not begrudge the jobless but which perversely crowds out capital flowing to the private sector, forestalling the job creation that would free many from unemployment and delaying any prospect of real recovery which in every past economic crisis has been borne by free enterprise and only held back by government tinkering according to all but die-hard Keynesian economists. We are a nation drowning in help from our own government.
