The Poor Girl

We met a lovely family at our art museum. They are from out of town, but a nearby city, where they lack psychiatric services for young children. They had not come here to see and hear the sights and sounds of Music City but to seek treatment for their little daughter's mental issues. What a nightmare! To have a "day pass" to spring your own under ten year old kid from an asylum. Then, to have her wear a brand new Target dress because the clothes she wore in from out of state had a drawstring and were disposed of for her own safety. They want a well and normal functioning child, and I hope they achieve that with the treatment they have arranged for her or with the Lord's help or both and soon.
