Stop the Attacks

There have to be layers of barriers, secured by armed guards, in this day and age to block car and truck traffic where large numbers of people are gathering. Obviously, the Nice murderer was a religious fanatic, but practical solutions have to be initiated to physically block copycat attackers anywhere in the world hundreds or thousands are gathering for some event. Would you accept free tickets to the Brazil Olympics now? I would not.
