Some Honest Questions

The government of the city of Nashville and our electric service have demonstrated unpreparedness, negligence, and incompetence. Why was aggressive tree cutting or at least paring back initiated near electric lines and transformers? Why did it take so many days to bring in additional help when the scope of the outage was immediately observable? Why are so many still without electricity even now? I am sorry if my presentation is disjointed, but our home does not have electricity restored yet.
