For the Tennessee Vols football team to lose at home to Vanderbilt is a disgrace. To drop a bowl game afterwards in our home state is shameful. Is that the level of performance Tennessee is paying big money for- to lose, lose, lose- which has traditionally been Vanderbilt's path with vastly less resources and dollars devoted to the Vandy program? Maybe it is time for the fat boy who used to be a quarterback for Oklahoma to go back and coach Sooners.

Making Such Progress
The Tennessee Titans will likely not have the first draft pick again as the Raiders seemingly worked mighty hard to lose even more games than Tennessee. The Titans did not suddenly turn contenders but managed three huge wins, with potentially one more on the way, out of seventeen regular season games. If a Cardinal had not fumbled what looked like a sure touchdown that would have clinched another Titan defeat, the Titans would have matched the Las Vegas level of futility, but it looks like the silver and black have genuinely reached the nadir this season.

The Peaceful Religion
You know I have never heard of an Amish suicide bomber. I have never witnessed a Quaker carrying out a mass casualty shooting. In fact, the perpetrators of these attacks normally happen to come from a particular faith group. That religion, which I will not mention at this point, is known as the fastest growing on earth, but who would rather fight than switch, when these devout folks will slowly cut your head off or rape your daughters in front of you to convince you that their way is the right path to take. Most people valuing survival will join the winning side if that means grotesque violence will not be visited on them and those they love.

Great Tight End
Travis Kelce may have just played his final home game. Obviously, if he wants to retire, he will, but even at this late stage in his career, he led Kansas City in receiving and was a force blocking throughout the contest. He will go down with Ozzie Newsome, Kellen Winslow Sr,, Russ Francis, Dave Casper, Tony Gonzalez, and Rob Gronkowski as one of the all-time great tight ends. He is still a dominant force and could play additional seasons, should he decide to continue competing.

Exempt from Terror
The most jihad beset place on earth is Israel. There are not "Apartheid" walls, but barriers that have been constructed and maintained to stop what would otherwise be constant murderous attacks against Israelis. No place else but the Jewish State was a suicide bombing campaign launched with dozens of separate incidents, including a hotel Seder being exploded wiping out generations and erasing whole families. Yet, circumstances have become so dire for Jews in other places that they are making aliyah to the place where they are under continual threat. How bad is it to be a Hebrew in France that a life of having to be ever vigilant in the Holy Land seems preferable?

Yay Van Epps
My fellow Tennesseans in District 7
will be represented by a common sense, mainstream conservative over the next couple of years as Matt Van Epps beat the radical the DemocRATS picked to run for Congress. The House loses Mark Green, a doctor and a leader, but he is replaced by someone with a similar mindset and platform. We win!
