Correction or Crash

US stock markets ended this week on a catastrophic note. I do not know if this is a minor correction or perhaps, the start of a recession or worse. One bad trading day does not a depression make, but economic downturns often start with or at least have their arrival signaled by a trading day marked by major losses.
