If inflation was measured the way it had been in the 1970s, it would be much higher now than is being reported, but the way it is tallied has been changed to make it appear lower than it would have been by traditional standards. This accrues to the benefit of the Biden regime as our economic situation does not appear as dire as it was under Jimmy Carter (which in fact, it is).
