A High Probability

I pray the coronavirus never reaches epidemic proportions in the United States. I am fairly certain some people at the Super Bowl will have the flu. I virtually guarantee you, others who attend the game will catch it.

Super Bowl Certainty

I am sadly sure that some young men will be hurt during Sunday's game. They may sustain career-threatening and life-altering injuries. They may be concussed. I think these athletes are modern day gladiators, assuming terrific risk, and I give them thumbs up for their efforts.

Worst Birthday Ever

My daughter turned five yesterday. She occasionally bemoans ordinary events with "worst day ever". I do not buy her the "Happy Meal" and it is "the worst day ever". I tell her it is too late for a TV show and she intones "worst day ever". With her big day marked by bad flu, it really seems to have been the "worst day ever". I am sorry my dear, it really seems like your birthday was the "worst day ever". I pray you get well soon and hope next year's birthday makes up for this year's debacle.

Green Travel Time

I think some folks are not so saddened that a helicopter crash killed nine people. After all, it was not a solar or wind-powered vehicle but a fossil-fuel guzzling earth destroyer that burst into flames. The poor souls aboard paid the ultimate price for attacking the planet.

A Tragic Loss

I have heard people saying they "would not take their helicopter up in fog" after the horrible California crash claimed nine lives. I do not think they have anything to worry about as most of the folks saying this have about as much chance of being in their own chopper as they do sprouting wings.

May Never Hear

Because we no longer have an objective or even an honest mainstream media, the public may never hear the defense side of the Trump impeachment. The dinosaur press are not just anti-Trump partisans. They are liars who are maintaining the Democrat narrative. The Deep State, the Democrats, and the press outside of FOX News and conservative talk radio will continue their coup against the duly elected President of the United States by having their mouthpieces not report the facts that exonerate Trump.

Finally the Truth

Now that the President's defense has started, the American people are finally going to start hearing the facts. A coup was initiated by the Deep State even before President Trump was inaugurated. Lie and smear have been the order of the day by the Democrats in the US House. Now, to the extent the media covers it and the public listens, America will at last hear Trump's side.

Ring of Steel

The Democrat impeachment managers have constructed a box around President Trump no human being could escape. They have proved his guilt not beyond just a reasonable doubt but beyond any doubt. Yes, our President is guilty of breathing and the Democrats hate Trump for that.

The Democrats want a one-sided process in their hoax-based impeachment. The GOP that has the Senate majority is not going to permit the Democrats to ramrod their travesty through against President Trump and our nation.

One Sick Puppy

My canine pal Bru is nearly sixteen. He has been hurt a couple of times in the nearly seven years we have known each other, but he has never been sick. Now, Bru is battling pancreatitis at the least. The poor little fellow may also have Cushing's disease and liver issues. Please keep this wonderful Keeshond in your prayers.

Asking for Prayer

I have an old dog named "Bru". He may not be everyone's cuppa tea, but he loves us and is very protective of our family. He has been blessed with good health until now. Since Saturday, he has been vomiting everything he tried to eat. Bru has been lethargic, which he heretofore never had been. Please say a prayer for this good boy's recovery.

Competing Against Duds

The impeachment will not likely stop President Trump's reelection because he has no real competition. If the best the Democrats can muster is a nanny state ninny who seems about four feet tall (Bloomberg), they will lose and lose big. If the Democrats stick with old dementia Joe, they will lose. If they select pretend Indian Warren, they are toast. If they go with Buttigieg, who could not even govern South Bend effectively, they will not even garner many black votes. In any event, unless Miichelle Obama decides to save them, Trump wins his second term.

Running the Numbers

I am not concerned with what the Democrats will do in the US Senate. I know what they will do. They will vote uniformly for conviction of President Trump (with the possible exception of West Virginia's Joe Manchin, who must recognize a guilty vote against the innocent President so popular in his home state is career suicide). It is the Judas faction of the GOP I worry about, Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Lamar Alexander, the disgrace who happens to be one of my two US Senators in Trump-friendly Tennessee. These turncoats will give the coup-orchestrating liars a sheen of bipartisanship in their impeachment ploy. I believe all four of these never-Trumpers will vote guilty. The Democrats will not pull off enough Republicans to remove our President but may even have more than the four Republican defections I anticipate, more than enough to taint Trump and hinder his reelection.

Defeat Is Possible

If enough Republicans turn on our nation's great President, and allow baseless smears against Trump to stand, the President could lose reelection. Trump will not be convicted by the Senate, but enough dirt could stick if left unanswered that we could end up with President Biden in 2021.

Impeachment About Nothing

My recollection is that when the "Seinfeld" TV series came out, NBC advertised it as "a show about nothing". That is the same as this coup attempt- it is an impeachment about nothing- no facts behind it just an abundance of hate against our President.

How Many Turncoats

I wonder how many Republicans in the Senate will spit in the eye of the nation and go against the greatest President of my lifetime in service of a coup? Those GOP members getting weak in the knees must realize at this point that President Trump by himself is bigger than the Republican Party.

Best College Team

Louisiana State University earned the national title of college football last night. The Tigers were dominant against a Clemson team that had gone undefeated. LSU may be the best NCAA team ever. They played a tough schedule and made a lot of good opponents look bad.

Iran's Mad Mullahs

The Iranian regime is composed of End-Time fanatics. A few of the despots at the top are also concerned with survival of the theocratic tyranny. Many of the leaders are so consumed with visions of the virgins they will receive after martyrdom and raising the Twelfth Imam that they actually would welcome their own deaths. I hope the freedom-loving people of Iran oblige the death-seeking psychopaths who have oppressed them since the fall of the Shah.

On the Field

In sport, unless the fix is in, you never really know what is going to happen. My hometown Titans were dogs twice in the playoffs but somehow pulled off victory. Tennessee will be prohibitive underdogs again against mighty Kansas City, but the Chiefs still have to beat the Titans on the field.

Trudeau Should Go

Justin Trudeau is mostly accepting the "fog of war" excuse by the Islamic Republic of Iran for murdering over sixty Canadian air travelers. Trudeau seems madder at President Trump for defending Americans against terror than at Iran for committing terror.

What a Relief

Most aliens who come to the United States do not want to kill Americans. They just want to loot our welfare system. Doesn't that make you feel better?

Follow the Leader

In the Middle East, the people disdain and will not follow a leader who projects weakness. President Trump has just demonstrated his and America's strength. Iran is now the weak horse with the US once again on the ascendancy. President Trump is now the strong horse in the region.

President Trump has spurned the path of his predecessor and will not try to buy Iran's love. Trump knows our enemies must fear us!

Slaves to Mullahs

The people who most despise Iran's fanatic religious leaders are the Iranian people who have been enslaved by them since the fall of the Shah. Most Iranians actually love America and Americans and want to be freed from the tyranny of the mullahs. The greatest boon to world peace would be to end the despotic ayatollah regime.

Just One Game

My hometown Titans upset last season's champion New England team. I am glad Tennessee won, but I know that just means the Titans now have to vie against the mighty Ravens in Baltimore. I will be rooting for the Titans but seriously doubt that they can upset the much younger and more athletic Baltimore squad the way they dominated the venerable Patriots.

To Avoid War

I am not going to bow down to some foreign potentate or swear allegiance to an alien philosophy or false god to avoid a fight. Our nation should not permit our troops and bases to be attacked by a self-avowed enemy. Eliminating an arch-terrorist was exactly the right thing to do, even if that terrorist wore the uniform of Iran.

Not with Impunity

Since the fall of the Shah, Iran has attacked the US over and over again. Prior to yesterday, only Ronald Reagan had met Iranian attacks with force. Yesterday, the US finally struck back at the aggression of the mad mullahs and now, Tehran is boiling mad. If I were in Iranian leadership, I would cool my jets and hold fire, because if America, our allies, or our interests are attacked again, President Trump will destroy the mullah regime.

Weight Loss Plan

Move to socialist Venezuela and I guarantee you will lose all the weight you want and more. Don't bring your pet though, with all the food shortages, Fido will get eaten.

Beyond Our Abilities

If somebody tells you they know how 2020 will go, treat it with a great deal of skepticism. There is no one on this earth who can foretell the future, which is one reason I have ignored the man-caused climate change hype. The other reason is that those pushing man-caused climate change tend to receive grants or make a profit by warning us how we are killing our planet. There are forces much more powerful than human beings that do alter climate and they are well beyond our ability to manipulate. Only the Lord has done and can do that.
