Our precious resource is dying off before we may tap the wisdom and expertise that could turn around the terminal decline to which our nation is willingly subjecting herself. That treasure trove are those old enough to remember the Great Depression and understand how to survive it. They recall World War II and can tell us what it takes to win global conflicts against implacable foes.
