Most Boring Sport

The only thing worse than watching men play golf is watching women play it. Someone that some folks thought was a has-been just won a tournament at what was once one of the most restricted places in the country. It was not until 2012 that this place even had any female members. Now, a minority has won the prestigious (to some) Green Jacket there. In 1950, I do not think today's winner would have been permitted to play a single hole there.

Lies Swallow Nations

Nazi Germany was built on and then destroyed by the big lie. The Soviet Union rose and then fell under the lie of Communism. Fascist Italy started and ended with lies. You can fool people for a time and even enslave them with lies, but eventually they wake up and destroy the oppressors who lied to them.

Truth Becomes Dangerous

When it becomes a crime to report the truth, the public will largely, by necessity, be informed by lies. If that is not where we are now with the arrest of Julian Assange, that is surely where we are heading.

A Stark Choice

President Trump can pardon Julian Assange. The President can allow the prosecution of Assange to move forward. Assange exposed some of the apparatus that was turned against Donald Trump to mount a coup attempt. Assange published some things American intelligence wanted to hide, but the secrets he was exposing should not have been kept from the public in the first place.

You Rock Bibi

\Benjamin Netanyahu has emerged victorious in Israel's election. Bibi has now been elected more often than any previous leader of the Jewish State. His job may be the most thankless in the world and certainly one of the hardest, but he has willingly sacrificed much to protect Israel and has helped the Jewish State to thrive.

Leader of Israel

Who would want to be Prime Minister of a country that half the world would love to see wiped out? I do not envy Netanyahu or his successor, should Natanyahu lose. Leading the Jewish State must be one of the hardest jobs in the world.

President Trump Steamrolls

I do not see any Democrat beating Donald Trump so long as the US economy continues roaring. Full employment and the best jobs numbers ever for minorities and women are a great selling point not to change horses in the middle of this stream.
