Most Dangerous Person

Joe Biden piles mistake upon catastrope and earnestly believes he should be congratulated for it. The worst aspect is he does not recognize the devastating consequences of his actions. Nobody like him has ever held power in the United States. Folks as warped as Biden rarely leave a psychiatric ward, so they usually do not have the power to do so much damage.

A Biden Western

If Joe Biden was leading way back then: The pioneers (in Joe lingo "colonialists") would not have the US cavalry rescue them when the Indians (in Joe lingo "Native Americans") attack. The US troops might be right there on the Plain as the wagon train is attacked, but they could not possibly intervene to protect the Pale Faces (in Joe lingo "occupiers"). They could gallop past, leaving their carbines and plenty of ammunition behind, not for the pilgrims, but for the Redskins (in Joe lingo "NOT the Washington football team"). The model for this premise is Afghanistan.

A Biden Peace

If Joe Biden has his way, a lot of Americans will find peace. It will be the peace of the grave, and I see very few folks welcoming it. America just gave state of the art "assault weapons" and machine guns, not available to private citizens here to some of the most bloody-handed terrorists in the world. In our country, ammunition for hunters, sportsmen, and people just wanting to protect their homes is scarce if available at all, but millions of rounds have just been given to jihadists. We have armed folks that have a homicidal hatred of us the means to murder us.

Emboldening America's Enemies

Does Joe Biden project strength? Does the United States seem strong after the Afghan catastrophe? Do you think Red China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela are less likely to start trouble now than they were when Trump was in power? Joe Biden is poison for decency and liberty around the globe.

Idiots and Imbeciles

What sort of moron would trust the Taliban to protect Americans? How could the people we have been fighting for twenty years be allowed to secure the perimeter of the Kabul airport? Only the dumbest people ever in authority anywhere could not have known a terrible tragedy was inevitable with Americans subcontracting their security to the Taliban, who are atavistic, woman-hating murderers who should not be negotiated with but destroyed.

Limits of Power

The greatest limit to US power is a lack of will to use it. Joe Biden has diminished us. Our enemies no longer fear us, and our allies can no longer trust us. I think it is highly unlikely the circumstances would have arisen to permit today's massacre had Trump still been President.

Post American Era

The United States will not collapse or be conquered in a day, a month, or even a year, but it is now clear that if there is not tremendous change, America is on a terminal trajectory. I do not believe Joe Biden has failed but has instead performed exactly as his handlers wanted. They wanted to see the last superpower diminished, and its unique status taken away. Biden has achieved this with remarkable alacrity.

More Missing Monday

The situation in Humphreys County, Tennessee remained dire. At least twenty-two are now reported dead, and dozens are still unaccounted for after more than a day. Twin babies and a two year old were swept to their deaths. This event is one of the worst flooding disaster in Tennessee's history.

A Sad Sunday

Yesterday turned out to be tragic in Middle Tennessee. More than a dozen people were killed and at least thirty are missing. Weather can be a remorseless killer, and it was Saturday near Nashville.

New Tennessee Summer

Parts of this summer in Nashville have looked like monsoon season. It has been raining all morning. Sometimes, the rain has been torrential. Some summers, Middle Tennesse has suffered drought. This year, it looks like we should be building an ark.

Who Replaces Biden?

If Joe Biden is somehow incapacitated or resigns, it is NOT his predecessor Donald Trump that replaces him, but the awful Kamala Harris. The only question as I see it is: Could Harris be any worse than corrupt, senile, old Joe?

A Brilliant Masterstroke

Perhaps Joe Biden is such a genius that Afghanistan is not a tragic fiasco at all but the best strategic maneuver ever. After all, the Taliban are no longer hiding in caves. They are out in the open where powerful US forces can easily find them and knock them off. Of course, old Joe is actually so addled that he will not order American troops to do that. In point of fact, the pitiful Biden has no idea what to do now to redeem his already failed regime.

Into the Void

Joe Biden is obviously NOT in control of his regime. America is flying blind. I was wondering who was pulling Biden's strings, but now wonder if anyone is? Whoever is trying to direct the regime, they are doing an atrocious job for the United States and the world.

In Perfect Control

Does anyone in their right mind think Joe Biden is on top of things? His regime is obviously temporizing when it comes to dealing with the China virus. He said in early July, Afghanistan would not fall, and one of his spokesmen said Kabul would not fall just three days ago. These folks are incompetent fools or just fools who care nothing for their own country. Their failures are ruining the world.

Debacle for Humanity

What has happened to Afghanistan is certainly not good for America. It is obviously bad for Biden, but it is worse for the Afghan people, and because terror rises from failed states, it is awful for decent people everywhere. The United States was not the only loser. Any place vulnerable to an act of jihad now must be super-vigilant because of what Biden's incompetence unleashed.

The Imposter Implosion

Even the most pessimistic could not have forseen Afghanistan falling this quickly. Then again, who could have guessed that the heretofore guarantor of liberty in the world would have fallen to a senile usurper with a Marxist cabal propping him up? It is Joe Biden, the worst misleader America has suffered under, that lost Afghanistan.

Divide to Conquer

There are malign forces that want us at each other's throats. The masked versus the unmasked. The vaccinated against the hesitant. The races pitted against one another. This effort to tear us apart may not have sprung from the Chinese Communist Party, but it certainly benefits them.

Bringing America "Equity"

The Third World is destitute, not becauce of a lack of resources or human capital, but because of corruption. The more corrupt a society, the more the people suffer. The United States has becaome a fractured nation under the Biden gang. Now, we will be beset with all the agonies crooked elections and illegitimate regimes bring.

If you want to kill your unborn, it is your body, your choice. If you want to avoid a potentially harmful, experimental vaccine, you have no right to do that, at least according to putative conservative Constitutionalist US Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

We dined out tonight. Our server was in film school here in Nashville at Belmont. She did not seem to know much about the movies. She had never even heard of the neighbor it is my blessing to have, the talented and generous Dennis Quaid. Her situation is like being a music major without knowing who Mozart is.

So Invincibly Ignorant

I have Facebook "friends" who are excoriating the unmasked and unvaccinated because they masked and vaccinated and still got COVID. They are unlikely to know if they contracted the virus through someone unvaccinated or even if they caught it from someone unmasked, but by saying they were both masked and vaccinated and still became coronavirus-positive, they are demonstrating that the vaccines and masks DO NOT WORK. They are blaming the wrong people and must now realize the precautions they had taken were not foolproof.

War for Water

There may be no more blood for oil, as the world weans itself from dependence on petroleum. The wars may still be fought, but now the cause, particularly in the arid Middle East, is likely to be water.

Most Job Openings

There are a record number of job openings in the United States now. Why would people bother working if by going to a job they end up taking a pay cut to what they are making through unemployment assistance?

The Best Way

Red China was going to assert primacy by dominating the Olympics. In the event, that dominance did not happen. America, the Land of the Free (at least partially free at the moment) managed to win the overall medal count and secure the most golds. Freedom still prevailed over the slavery of Communism.

This will turn out to be the least watched Olympics in the modern media era. Is it a spectacle if no one watches?

Sickness or Reaction

No medicine is ever perfect. Some people have severe reactions to different pharmaceuticals. When a huge, really unprecedented, number of people take a "vaccine", some are bound to experience adverse events. If folks die from any drug that is supposed to make them better, it is a tragedy. If COVID is so dangerous that we need "experimental" vaccines to save us, so be it, but if it turns out the vaccines are potentially quite harmful, we may find out we made a colossal mistake.

Why Race Walk?

I was dining in a sports bar that was airing an event I am conspicuously avoiding on some of the televisions. It was "race walking". Who invented this "sport"? If you want to go somewhere quickly without a vehicle, I can see running, but what is the possible purpose of "race walking"? Did someone once say, "I need to get there in a hurry, but not too fast"? It is a sport (after a fashion), but one without any discernible reason to exist.

Cuomo Might Prevail

Maybe we are writing Governor Cuomo off too fast. He has not been convicted of anything. The allegations might be true, but even so, he could ride it out. Bill Clinton did.

No Mo Cuomo

Andrew Cuomo's political viability likely ended today. He enjoys a presumption of innocence in a court of law but not in the court of public opinion. He may survive his term, but I see no way Cuomo can ever be reelected or win high office in the future.

A Silver Lining

Perhaps the Delta Variant will bring us closer to herd immunity. Yes, it does seem to be more easily transmissible, but death numbers do not appear to be spiking, so maybe Delta will bring the threat of COVID nearer to its end.

A Clerk Jerk

My Mom and I were doing a little shopping. We walked into the Omega watch store and the staff was too engrossed in their conversation with each other to wait on us. I bought her an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra a few years back and she already owned another Omega Dad had given her. We were dressed summer casual, not exactly in go-to-meeting clothes, but they should have had the courtesy to wait on us. I now wish I had bought a Rolex instead of an Omega. I doubt I will ever make a purchase from Omega again.
