Itching for War

Donald Trump is a "PEACE" President. Trump believes in avoiding foreign entanglements and conflict by building up overwhelming power that only the suicidal might challenge. Unfortunately, the mullahs that control Iran are End Time fanatics who care nothing for the survival of the Iranian people and welcome death themselves as a means to bring the 12th Imam out of his place of hiding in the well. While the US leader and the American people have never wanted a new fight in the Middle East, the Iranian despots fervently want to pull the world into a great conflagration.

Chaos and Violence

In the coming year, most people will want peace and prosperity. Those monsters in human form, who do not want a better year, will do all they can to create havoc and shed blood. Unfortunately, the evil doers will achieve their bloody ends as they do every year.

A Strong Finish

LSU football is so dominant this season that they look like they could give an NFL cellar-dweller a pretty good game. Clemson had a legitimate gripe about being the defending national champ but getting no respect. The Tigers versus Tigers may be a title game for the ages. I will just tell you- I am rooting for the Tigers and guarantee you right now they will win the national championship.

Our Small World

Decades back, we visited Charleston and Savannah and I will be darned if we did not run into a Keeshond from Nashville travelling the same route we were that we had met and played with earlier back in my hometown. Million to one coincidences like that happen occasionally. I was in a relationship with a lady from a tiny town at the West Virginia border with Ohio and Kentucky, and decades later I dated a woman from this same little town. Turns out they were distant cousins- another million to one coming to pass- sometimes the seemingly impossible just happens.

Before Taking Office

President Trump had people plotting impeachment before he even took the oath of office. Before Trump was sworn in, Democrats were plotting to oust him. It makes no difference what the President has done or if he is completely innocent, these haters had their coup in the works the moment Trump defeated Hillary.

Least Discerning Senator

Either Lisa Murkowski did not watch or follow the proceedings in the US House or she is a self-absorbed attention-seeker of the worst order who cares nothing for her state or our country. Anyone who watched the kangaroo court conducted by Pelosi must recognize the lack of due process, hearsay, bias, and the complete absence of any crimes committed by President Trump. Senator Murkowski must also know that Donald Trump is the "Energy" President, bringing unprecedented prosperity to her home state Alaska by reducing the restrictions on oil and natural gas exploration and production that the Obama regime had imposed there as part of their jihad against sensible exploitation of domestic US resources. Murkowski is not trying to find the truth or represent her constituents. She is trying to grab the media spotlight to stroke her massive ego.

The Developed World

We are so selfish as First Worlders that we actually enjoy driving, light, heat, and refrigeration. What selfish pigs we are here in America. Thank goodness Greta has come around to show us the error of our ways and that we now have a Pope who agrees with her.

Our Holiday Wishes

I hope for peace, health, and plenty for all in the coming year. None of these wonderful things will happen, but it would be a blessing if they did.

Cheapening the Process

The one thing Democrats in DC are usually very good at is pulling politics down into the gutter. They have achieved unparalleled success in this aspect with an impeachment of our President without any high crime or misdemeanor.

Nashville Becoming London

Two young men should have had promising futures. Their lives were cut short (literally) by a knife-wielding killer outside a club in my hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. So far as I know, there is no Constitutional right to carry a blade. Aggressive enforcement of a ban on carrying knives would save lives. We do not want and will do what we can to stop slaughter on our streets.

Bowl Season Starts

To those college football fans mocking the early bowls with their Podunk State versus Nowhere University jokes, at least their teams are in postseason games. Can you say that about the college team you follow?

The Phony Impeachment

If Nancy Pelosi fails to send the impeachment to the US Senate, it means she knows the Democrats have no case. Pelosi's inaction will prove the impeachment was nothing more than a partisan smear and fake news all along.

Theirs for Ours

The Democrats want to supplant their will for the will of Trump supporters. Just over a couple of hundred US House Democrats (not even all of them- there were a couple against impeachment and an abstention) believe their wisdom and judgement is better than that of over sixty million Trump voters. They believe they can negate and deny the rights of those millions who support our President. I think these Democrats have just (unwittingly) handed the Republicans back the House majority come the next election. And it is all for nothing, because President Trump is innocent and will not be removed by the US Senate.

America's Overwhelming Interest

Don't you feel the groundswell of support for the Democrat impeachment effort? Me either- those who hate President Trump still despise him and back impeachment. The sane Americans recognize this impeachment is a farce orchestrated by self-deluded partisans and will likely reelect Trump in 2020.

Daughter Wants Puppy

Three dogs apparently are not enough. My four year old wants a puppy. At some point, I am fairly certain she will have a puppy all her own, but that may be after the three dogs and I have shuffled off this mortal coil.

One Fell Down

Some poor fellow fell (or jumped) to his death a few hundred feet in front of us from an overpass on I-65 in Bowling Green. We were inconvenienced for an hour, but the victim may have found a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

The Proper Course

I do not think the US Senate should simply dismiss the impeachment charges. I think the Republicans in charge there should call all the corrupt coup plotters, from the "whistleblower"and James Comey, to the mysteriously enriched Hunter Biden. There should be a thoroughgoing investigation of all those who sought to bring down the innocent President Trump on made-up charges.

To Restore Order

I hope that in President Trump's second term he will do more to confront violent crime. When I see the barbarity inflicted on the Barnard College student, I yearn for a swift and certain justice that I know no longer exists in the United States. Perhaps with a Republican Congress, Trump can institute the types of punishments that will restore deterrence to the would-be thugs who no longer fear the punishment they are going to face.

Brexit Must Happen

With the overwhelming victory of Boris Johnson, he must deliver Brexit. No more excuses are acceptable. The wishes of the voters must be honored.

Land of Sanctuary

You would think the in-gathering of my people in the Jewish State would serve as some protection. The mad mullahs of Tehran have long encouraged the Jews to concentrate their population in Israel. That way we (the Jews) can mostly be wiped out in one fell swoop. Europe certainly is not safe for the Jews. Recent events demonstrate the Jews of America are in peril as well. Unfortunately, the Holy Land is the number one target of world jihad. Just as the world proved at the time of the Holocaust, there is no sanctuary for the Jewish people.

Act of Terror

When I heard a kosher market was attacked in New Jersey, my initial thought was "terrorism". Authorities initially denied any terrorist or antisemitic motive but less than a day later, it seems I was correct. Jewish people have to be prepared to protect themselves, even in America.

Arming Our Troops

Those charged with protecting us clearly should be allowed to protect themselves. It is preposterous that our forces on our soil are not permitted to carry guns. A "gun-free" military base is an oxymoron conceived by genuine morons.

Trusted Saudi Friends

After September 11, 2001, when 15 of the 19 mass murderers were Saudi, one might think America would vet Saudis entering the US thoroughly. With the terror attack in Pensacola, it seems Saudis are still coming in with murderous intentions. US authorities should greet Saudis seeking admittance very skeptically. Saudis have no inherent right to come here when their countrymen have already slaughtered so many Americans.

Democrats Against Israel

Democrats in the US House just sided with terrorists over the State of Israel. They did this because the Trump administration saw the light and realized that a two-state solution is not viable because the Palestinians are led by terrorists who will only be satisfied when the Jewish State is no more and because House Democrats are so against Trump that if he is for something, they must stand against it.

A Losing Proposition

Impeachment in the US House of Representatives is likely to succeed (based on no high crimes or misdemeanors) because Democrats have the majority. No conviction will come because Democrats do not control the Senate. Why go forward when ultimately you are bound to fail?

Impeachment Lie Implemented

The baldfaced partisan liars that comprise the Democrat House are indeed impeaching our innocent (and great) President. They wish to negate the will of over sixty million American voters. I think the Democrats will have this backfire. They will lose the House and see President Trump reelected in 2020.

Little Purpose Left

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization was built as a bulwark against the USSR. The USSR is no more and NATO member Turkey is aggressive and expansionist with Erdogan setting his sights on fellow NATO member Greece. Europe and America certainly still face collective threat, but there is little reason that the US should be the guarantor and purse for countries that should be able to defend themselves.

You Versus Diablo

Your Canario dog "Diablo", who you rescued as a five pound puppy, may see things a little differently than you do. You see your neighbor's kittens as cute balls of fuzz. Diablo sees them as appetizers. You see your sister's Golden Retriever coming over for a doggie play date as a nice companion for your big fella. Your big fella thinks "entree". You see the neighbor with the pair of pitbulls as scary. Diablo wonders if when he packs up with these two other bruisers, if the mailman or the UPS delivery guy will taste better. You really love Diablo, but he does not necessarily reciprocate.

War Against Truth

All through the Trump Presidency, the mainstream media has been at war with our President. They have been at war with the truth, first by advancing the Russia hoax, and now, with the Ukraine hoax. There is also a media jihad against Trump supporters. With so many liars united against him, Trump may still prevail and win his second term.

Down the Hatch

I was at an establishment that served adult beverages and noticed many of the other patrons ordering libations that also contained cinnamon. Even some world-renowned brands that heretofore did not, now featured cinnamon. I did not want to pay twelve bucks for a drink featuring cinnamon, so I enjoyed my water with lemon that was free and chewed a stick of five cent cinnamon gum as I drove back to my house.
