Trade Deals Languish

Because Nancy Pelosi is determined to see President Trump defeated, she will not allow Congress to pass USMCA. This trade agreement would benefit the nation, but because it might also help Trump secure reelection, Pelosi keeps it on the back burner. There is plenty Congress should do to help the people, but they will not because they are only focused on damaging Trump.

Always Be Vigilant

As events today in London demonstrate, we must never let down our guard. An attack may come in any public place. Our law enforcement must be proactive. They must not play catch and release with potential terrorists. The suspect must not merely have an ankle monitor as seems to be the case with today's attack. It is impossible to stop every lone wolf or copycat, but apparently today's assailant was already known to be radicalized. Today's terror never should have happened.

To Be Thankful

Virtually every American has food in the belly and a roof over the head. That is great, but our real blessing is freedom.

Iran Versus World

Iran has threatened America yet again. At this point, Iran should tread lightly. Donald Trump is not Obama, and he will not let the mad mullahs and their generals intimidate the US.

More Tenacious Party

Will the GOP vigorously defend their innocent President? Will the Democrats remain unified in their commitment to impeach President Trump? Which party has backbone- the perpetrators of the hoax-based coup or the party of the the President who is trying to rid DC of corruption?

Impeachment Polling Poorly

Obviously, Republicans do not support the removal of their President. Somewhat surprisingly, independent voters do not want President Trump impeached either, despite nothing but negative reporting on him from almost all media for the duration of his Presidency. The Democrats want their opponent impeached but have produced no facts to convince the rest of America that our President should go.

How Deeply Entrenched?

The "Deep State" exists. It has enormous power. The Deep State may yet bring down our competent and honest President. President Trump sought to drain the swamp. The swamp is deeper than anyone knew.

Known by Enemies

President Trump has cretins lined up against him. Trump must be doing plenty right to have the cast of villains he has opposing him. Adam Schiff is about as disgusting a public figure as America has ever had.

Our Prosperity President

The rotten-to-the-core redistributionists in the United States hate President Trump because he has allowed free enterprise to thrive. Americans are more prosperous than ever. Reduced regulation and taxes have put more money in almost everyone's accounts. The President proves our system is better than socialism every day.

Another Coup Attempted

Now, Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu faces an attempted coup just as President Trump does. Both leaders may hold onto power because both are innocent of wrongdoing.

Eye of Beholder

If you are a never-Trumper, then you saw plenty today to merit impeachment. If you are fair-minded or even sane, then you see this is nothing more than a coup.

The Impossible Standard

Nancy Pelosi would be happy for President Trump to testify to prove his innocence. This would of course turn justice on its head as our system has always required prosecutors to prove guilt. This is precisely what Pelosi wants, to overturn jurisprudence as America has heretofore known it.

Time of Revolution

I have not seen such widespread instability and potential for violence since 1968. From Chile to Hong Hong to Iran, regimes are just itching to slaughter protesters. America is roiled by "impeachment", but outside of ANTIFA thugs, there is little political violence here. Much of the world though is a tinderbox at the moment.

An Epic Trek

The parents of the three year old twins in their double stroller must have found it remarkable to see their charges sleep through all the excitement of the theme park. They were wide awake for the two hundred mile drive with their constant "Are we there yet?", but managed to sleep through all the crowds and noise. The toddlers probably would have enjoyed it more with their eyes open.

In One Piece

Our sojourn has ended with everyone more or less intact. Now, we need a vacation to recover from our vacation.

The Road Back

I hope for safe travels back after our daughter's spectacular vacation. We had numerous firsts for our four year old. She was as happy as a child could possibly be.

Farce of Impeachment

A Soviet-style show trial is being conducted by Democrats in the US House. They are denying President Trump due process. They are making the President do the impossible and prove he committed no crimes but there is no way to prove a negative.

Aiming for Somalia

Not content with slaughtering American women and children, Mexico has slipped further toward failed state status with sea piracy of an Italian vessel. Mexico now resembles Somalia at its worst in terms of violence. A wall separating the US from such a crime-ridden country now appears more necessary than ever.

All Encompassing Change

Those pitching "warming" said it was man's fault. Those who see "cooling" in the offing say it will be man's fault. It can not be both. It is hubris to think we are so powerful and changing terms to call everything "man-caused" does not change that.

More Then Less

Veterans of World War II are almost all gone now. Even veterans of the Korean Conflict are growing scarce. Even with these veterans departing, there are new heroes emerging everyday as fighting continues in the war on terror. We must celebrate and commemorate those who have served and are now serving to ensure that liberty never passes from this land.

A New Adventure

To a four year old, virtually everything is a new adventure. Going to Walmart- wow! Visiting an ice cream parlor- outstanding! Seeing the ocean- unbelievable! I wish I could enjoy a tenth of the thrills my daughter is experiencing, but I have outgrown wonder at my cynical age.

A Traveling Man

I am taking our daughter on her first trip to Florida. My blogging may be more sporadic than usual. I left frost on the ground in Nashville with snow coming, to enjoy eighty degrees and balmy breezes. I wish you all could join us.

Guns and Soda

Nanny-state ninny Michael Bloomberg wants to be President. He will not win, but if he did, Bloomberg (who travels with armed bodyguards) would gut our Second Amendment. He would also wage war on soda, as he believes he is smarter than you are and needs to limit your choice. New York City has had great mayors. Fiorello LaGuardia and Rudy Giulani spring to mind. Michael Bloomberg was not even a great leader for New York City. He does not have what it takes to lead the nation.

City of Cranes

There are more construction cranes up in my hometown of Nashville than I have seen anywhere. Prices of real estate are soaring. Homes are selling the moment they are listed. Nashville is booming like never before.

Rejecting All Sanity

Not content with the rising tide bringing them good fortune, stupid or mentally-ill Kentuckians seem to have voted out their GOP governor. Most of them will likely suffer for this mistake.

Never Been Better

Kentucky has been doubly blessed to have Republicans leading both the Commonwealth and the nation. Because taxes and government regulation have been reduced, Kentuckians have never been more prosperous. Kentucky must keep the GOP in power to grow the wealth even further. Go out and vote today and keep the momentum MAGA!

A Thrilling Rally

President Trump led a rally of thousands of patriots in Kentucky tonight. The crowd filled Rupp Arena with thousands more supporters outside. There was more love for America at this rally than all the events the Democrats have staged put together.

An Open Secret

Could it be that the so-called "whistleblower" is no more than an anti-Trump hack? Could it be that the so-called "quid pro quo" is just another big lie, just as Russia handing the election to Trump is a big lie? Could it be that Trump is innocent of wrongdoing and is simply being smeared by his enemies?

Taxed to Death

Elizabeth Warren would destroy healthcare and the economy with her massive government takeover. Doctors would retire or leave the profession in droves with the reduced compensation they would receive. Wait times for care would increase. Quality of care would diminish. Warren care would finish us off.

Some Collateral Damage

Democrats are perfectly content with going against due process and precedent, the Constitution, and the will of the people so long as Trump loses. The never-Trumpers are willing to make everyone suffer to deny President Trump a second term.
