When an American imam calls for "the annihilation of all Jews", is he exercising free speech and freedom of religion or inciting to murder? Considering Islam is a legal and even economic system through sharia that is supposed to supplant democracy, I would say this imam was attempting to incite another Holocaust.

US Against Them

US Senators who voted to keep Obamacare are about as out of touch as a person can be. I and most everyone I know now has such a huge medical deductible that the policies we have amount to nothing but one wellness visit per year and then pray you do not become ill because you are out of pocket for the rest until you have expended thousands of dollars. All this basically is is a catastrophic policy costing me nearly a thousand dollars a month after the "wellness visit". US Senators have exempted themselves from facing this and should be voted out unless they too have to enroll themselves and their families into Obamacare.

Republicans Lack Conviction

GOP members of the US Senate have little backbone and do not keep their promises. America needs a conservative party that will do what they say they will.

A Failed Party

President Trump has not yet been successful in his effort to repeal and replace Obamacare, but it is not he who is failing. It is Republicans in the US Senate who have let their voters down.

Russia would vastly have preferred Hillary as President. She had plenty of blackmail material the Russians could use against her and she had permitted Russia to take over vast quantities of US uranium.

Slaughter on Sunday

Muslims continue to kill each other in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen while most of the world yawns, but a few violent Palestinian rioters are killed by Jews trying to save their own lives and Israel is roundly condemned. It is not really because Jews fought back, but that a Jewish State exists at all that Israel faces calumny.

The American Weekend

We are weakened as a nation by the Democrat Party that is determined to obstruct President Trump even though they know doing so is slowing growth of the US economy. The Democrats are engaged in obstruction for obstruction's sake and in some instances, because they are essentially Marxists.

McCain as President

America would have been better off and safer if John McCain had defeated Obama. No deal permitting Iran to nuke up would have been made. I doubt McCain would have tolerated Red China rising in Asia/Pacific hegemony. I do not believe McCain would have marched us toward the rationed care of socialized medicine. McCain would have made America more free and more prosperous than the man who defeated him.

Pray for McCain

I have a friend who lost her husband to the same type of brain cancer with which Arizona Republican Senator John McCain has been diagnosed. Her husband was only 44 when he succumbed to this malignancy. Unless some revolutionary advances in treatment have been made in the last five years, Senator McCain's predicament is dire. I found two of President Trump's remarks on the campaign trail beyond the pale and hence supported Ted Cruz in the primaries. The assertion Trump made about Cruz's father possibly being involved in the JFK assassination was ridiculous. When Trump made the obnoxious comment that he liked heroes who "weren't captured" in a shot a Senator McCain, I thought Trump's chance of winning was gone. Senator McCain is in the fight of his life and now needs a miracle.

Do Nothing Congress

Do Nothing Congresses are not necessarily bad as they are not passing more laws that end up harming Americans, reaching into our wallets, and restricting our rights. Our current Do Nothing Congress is very bad though because it has not halted Obama's socialism and is not stopping and reversing the damage caused by the last President. Congress is also not advancing the Trump agenda. This Do Nothing Congress may do just enough to restore Democrats back into majorities in both the House and Senate, which will see our current President impeached and finish off the country as it was founded.

The Broken Promise

Good intentions never fed a hungry child. Almost having enough votes never passed a bill. If enough constituents made their voices heard, wavering Republican Senators might have their minds changed and change their votes.

Without a Home

An overwhelming percentage of homeless in Nashville are substance abusers, mentally ill, or both. If you gave them a house, they would not be capable of maintaining it. In the dangerous heat of summer or the cold of winter, many of the homeless would be better off institutionalized.

In a Void

The Democrat Party has fallen into an abyss of Trump hate. They offer no new ideas, just calumny against the man that defeated them and outrageous incitement saying everything Trump and the Republicans do "will kill Americans". The old, tired script about children being starved and granny thrown over the cliff by the GOP has not and can not work. Republicans breathe the same air and drink the same water as everyone else and do not want the environment befouled any more than Democrats because Republicans realize that we only have one earth. The Democrats have no great compelling candidate and no ideas that excite America.

Almost Always Right

Rush Limbaugh is uncannily accurate in his predictions and insight. He has great ideas. Limbaugh is also so polarizing that he could not be elected dog catcher in most places. That is a shame too because his ideas if implemented would leave the country better off.

Not Always Right

Even Ronald Reagan could be wrong. He was right though much more consistently than his opponents. Trump is no Reagan and is imperfect, but he is manifestly better than those in the so-called "resistance".

Lying in Bed

The mainstream press lies from the moment they wake up. If their lips are moving, chances are whatever they are saying is not down the middle truth but agenda-driven activism. The dinosaur press is willing to resort to the lowest fabrication and most outrageous falsehood to bring down our President.

The Obstruction Crew

The mainstream media, the Democrat Party, and the Republican establishment really do not want an outsider to succeed with a growth agenda. These Trump opponents will gladly hurt the country so long as the President is diminished.

Menace No More

Wow, a couple of Trump family members met with a Russian. Suddenly, jihad and North Korea are no longer threats to the US and the world, and we can all get about the important work of removing a duly elected President. What a relief to know that with some imagination all the world's problems would suddenly abate if a patriot who has sacrificed much to help his country is frog-marched from the White House.

A Real Thaw

If the US and Russia could truly work together to combat the menace of jihad, the world would be a much safer place. Putin surely plays for the interests of Russia, but when those coincide with what advantages America, there is no reason for Putin and Trump not to work together.

Lot of Nothing

President Trump's son and son-in-law spoke with a Russian lawyer after Trump secured the Republican nomination. I once had Russian dressing on a salad. Neither fact is noteworthy. Sorry anti-Trumpsters, there is still no impeachment anywhere in sight.

Not Backing Down

Unlike his predecessor, President Trump stood toe to toe with Putin and did not blink.

A Brilliant Orator

I do not know if anyone could have delivered a better speech than President Trump did in Europe. We have a guardian of liberty in our President the likes of which rarely appear in human history.

War as Virtue

Someone who had experienced a war said, "the only thing worse than winning a war is losing one". We have in North Korea a maniacal sadistic cult of personality state that basks in the starvation, torture, abduction, and slaughter of people. The civilized world should not permit Pyongyang to develop weapons that can obliterate nations. America can not allow North Korea to develop the ability to threaten our existence, for surely, if Pyongyang can destroy our electric grid or Seattle and Los Angeles, they will. No sane and moral nation would permit an insane and immoral country to threaten not merely freedom but life itself.

Remove a Threat

If there is a rattlesnake at your backdoor, do you invite it inside? I think not. Why are we allowing North Korea to become the mouse that roared without any of the humor? I say blast their offensive capability and hopefully their bloodthirsty tyrannical rulers right out of existence.

Saved the Queen

Can you imagine if we had not rebelled against Britain or if the American Revolution had not been successful? We might be involved in Brexit now, except there would likely never have been a European Union as it exists mainly as a hedge against US economic power. If we were still subjects of her Britannic Majesty, there would likely be no Queen Elizabeth II as Nazi Germany would probably be entering the 84th year of the Thousand Year Reich. Only a free America has saved the world. From supplying Russia to invading Normandy, our treasure, blood, and guts preserved and sustained liberty.

Notion of Exceptionalism

The essential quality that separates America from all other countries is liberty. The United States was conceived as a consecrated Providential enterprise dedicated to human freedom. Not everyone enjoyed equality in the eyes of the law at our founding, but America had expanded rights since 1776 and has become the repository and arsenal of democracy. No other nation or nations really shed treasure or blood for the freedom of others like the US does.

Just an Opinion

The only thing worse than the Democrats trying to destroy the Trump Presidency are the Republicans who are permitting it to happen. Establishment Republicans are blocking the Trump agenda and doing nothing to defend the President of their own party.

The dinosaur press has impeached their own credibility. Their hatred for Trump has overwhelmed their capacity for reason. The preposterous lies they have told are only accepted by the most gullible or most biased against the President.
