Gun control was not selling as well as it used to, so it has now been rechristened "gun reform". It is still just a scheme to disarm the law-abiding, but it has a shining new name. I remember back in the Clinton years, raising your taxes became your "contribution". The powers that be still want to make you take a big swallow from the septic tank, but think you won't mind so much if they rebrand it the "national nectar".
