Iran's Unearned Victory
Do you think France would give up the right to national defense because a couple of other countries had fought each other and then demanded the French take it easy on those who attack them? The Spectacular Failure
Wemby may be the best player on the court, perhaps ultimately the greatest of all-time, but right now he is playing wild, thinking he must carry his team and win games by himself. His opponent in the post, Karl-Anthony Towns, is a team player with the maturity to play within himself and recognize his role as a cog, doing what is best for victory rather than trying to put the Kicks on his back. An efficient center is going to secure a championship over a fellow who would likely dominate him in a one-on-one competition because basketball is not won necessarily by the flashiest but by the individual that recognizes his role for the benefit of his teammates.
