Might Be Connected

Has anyone else noticed that in the places police actually were defunded that crime rates rose and murders surged? The most victimized segment of society seems to be African-Americans, who supposedly were going to benefit by reducing policing. There may just be a correlation there. It would seem at least initially that reducing policing actually harms those who it was supposed to help.
