Why Burn Bibles?

In a town near Nashville, the city I was born in and where I have spent the majority of my life, some heathen burned a trailer full of Bibles, at Easter! What sort of devil would do this? What message in Holy Script did this moron find offensive? Is nothing sacred anymore?
