No News Organization

Citizen journalists do not have stringers, fact-checkers, or lawyers to assess stories before they are published. What they do have is the ability to be there on the ground when events happen. Sometimes early information and preliminary reports turn out to be way off base. It is important to spread the word fast, but more so to be accurate in what you are telling the public.
