Tim Walz showed himself to be a bumbling idiot last night with his "Israel proxies" misstep, when meaning Iran (boy those "I" countries are just so confusing), his inexplicable "friends with school shooters" comment, and his two minute "knucklehead" groveling when a short "I was mistaken" was in order and would have settled the issue, but the Governor instead droned on for two minutes creating the image of an equivocating liar with shoulders too narrow to simply accept responsibility for his own words. Vance was certainly better and humanized himself, softening his image and showing that he was not "weird" but was no Churchill stirring our souls to rush out to vote in his (and Trump's) support.
