Saved the World?

Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, and Pope John Paul II could be said to have brought down the global menace that was the Soviet Union. Perhaps, the USSR would have ultimately fallen anyway due its own corruption, but these three stalwarts for human freedom certainly brought the Evil Empire down sooner than it may have fallen otherwise.
