Enmity or Friendship

Eighty years ago today, the Japanese displayed the ultimate antipathy for Americans. Now, Japan is a steadfast ally of the United States. Perhaps, at some point in the future, Iran will be friendly toward America. Let us hope that blood does not have to be shed in the meantime.
