Justin Amash Running?

It is with great excitement that I heard Congressman Justin Amash may seek the Presidency in 2020. This is the same kind of enthusiasm I would have if a rabbi sought the papacy. A Justin Amash Presidency is just not going to happen.

California Still Shaking

Another major earthquake just hit Southern California. It was even larger than the previous quake. Ironically, folks in tents on Skid Row are safer than those living in mansions in the event of a monster quake. If your tent collapses on you, not too much harm is done. If tons of masonry fall on you, chances are you will be killed. I just pray for the millions of people in the quake zone.

Love a Parade

The Washington DC Fourth of July parade was not militaristic nor menacing. It was not a campaign event for President Trump. It was about pride in the country. The event was pure patriotism.

Happy Independence Day

I woke up today with a great sense of relief. I realized if America had lost her revolution, I would be British, a horror too terrible to even contemplate. If we had lost the war for independence, we would be forced to watch the New England Redcoats thrashing our pro football teams. If we had lost the war against the king, I likely would never have seen a dentist. If we had not chased away those lobster backs, what is now Washington DC might still be a swamp- oh never mind!

Raising a Stink

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that detainees were being forced to drink from toilets because they had "no running water". How do toilets work without running water?

Not Raising Cash

Governor John Hickenlooper has not raked in millions for his Presidential campaign. He is a liberal Democrat but is just too far to the right for the radicalized Democrat Party. He would have been called left of moderate in 2016, but now he is just too centrist for the AOC Party. How far left have these Democrats gone? They have almost left the country but would fit in great in Havana.

Raising Campaign Cash

Some fringe candidates who will never be elected President are raising enormous sums. That is nice for them, but you have to remember, President Trump (the billionaire) can outspend whatever they raise by writing a check to his own campaign.
