They All Know

There are certain countries no want wants to move to and no one wants to stay in, and however President Trump characterizes them, he could not be too harsh. These places are not demi-paradise but hell-on-earth. People migrate to slightly less odious hellholes, just to escape these unrelenting hellholes. Haiti is the worst such hellhole in the Americas. I realize that sometimes the truth hurts.

Snow Stops Nashville

My hometown of Nashville, Tennessee was more or less brought to a standstill by an inch or so of snow, or rather the fraction of an inch of ice underneath it. Schools closed, which happens down here, but more surprising, many businesses closed as well. Business has certainly changed. When my family was running wholesale and retail establishments in decades past, they opened the doors, even in our rare blizzards.

Calling Haiti Right

If Haiti was not how Trump reputedly characterized it, why have so many Haitians fled it? When Haiti rebelled against France starting in 1791, they killed every French white male and most white French women and children there. Haiti has been impoverished and disease-ridden ever since. How many people have you heard talking about wanting to take a tropical vacation to Port-Au-Prince? Haiti has the highest incidence of AIDS in the Western Hemisphere. Haiti has the highest infant mortality rate in the Western Hemisphere. Haiti has the lowest life expectancy in the Western Hemisphere. Haiti has the lowest literacy rate in the Western Hemisphere. Haiti means "Hades"- that is Hell.

Out for Self

Virtually every politician says he or she only wants to serve the best interest of their voters. What these politicians really do once they are elected is to serve themselves. I had hopes Trump was rich enough and well-known enough that he really was all-in for his voters, but he is betraying the patriots who believed and backed him in favor of the globalists and the foreign horde they have been bringing in as their source of cheap labor.

Stabbed in Front

If Donald Trump permits amnesty for illegal aliens he will have betrayed his voters like no other US President ever has. His base will remember how he sold them out in subsequent elections.

Football National Champion

A freakish, almost unheard of event has taken place. The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team has won the national championship of major college football. Underdogs in virtually every game, the overmatched, plucky little Alabama players somehow managed to overcome all challenges (save Auburn) to somehow prevail. And they always exemplified class while doing it- especially Bo Scarbrough. Oh wait- the Tide were favorites in every game they won and are pretty much a pro team in college uniforms- never mind.

Crash and Turn

So long as the economy is strong and US markets rising, Trump stands a good chance of securing reelection. If the markets or US economy sour, Trump is toast.
