The after Christmas rush is apparently to return gifts to retailers.

Best and Worst

2015 is the best year ever because my daughter was born in January. Being able to visit her only five times since August 15 made it the worst year as well.

Just Last Year

At this time last year, my mother was about to sustain a major stroke on the right side of her brain. My wife was about to deliver our first child. The year has been a whirlwind.

We are collecting Cassie's ashes today.

Hillary is at it again. Just as she blamed a video nobody had seen for the Benghazi disaster, she claimed during the Saturday night debate that the Islamic State is using video of Donald Trump for terror recruiting. I do not believe that for an instant.

Curry's operation has been postponed until we can regulate her thyroid.

Donald Trump attacked Ted Cruz for being against the ethanol subsidy. Trump is for continuing the corn carve out. Through his support for warping the markets by applying the heavy thumb of government, Trump may gain the support of Iowa farmers (by essentially buying their votes). This may help Trump win Iowa, but it proves he is no conservative.

No Perfect Candidate

There never will be a perfect candidate for the Presidency of the United States. Ted Cruz is pretty darn close though.

The Trump Card

No matter how hard the main stream media are trying, no matter what the establishment elites say, Donald Trump seems to gain political momentum. Perhaps, the vast majority of everyday Americans are tired of those who consider themselves their betters telling them what they should think. People in flyover country do not want DC and New York City elites telling them how they must vote.

A nation must always be ready to counter those who would attack it. On December 7, 1941, the United States was not. On September 11, 2001, America was still not prepared. I fear today that the USA is still not ready. If we were serious about our sovereignty, the San Bernardino attack would never have happened.

An Intelligence Failure

Apparently, the female jihadist from the California slaughter gave an address that did not exist in Pakistan to the US State Department as it was vetting her for admission into the United States. She also belonged to the hyper-militant Red Mosque in Pakistan but US intelligence agencies missed that as well. She was a ticking time bomb that America admitted into the homeland. How many more jihadists have been let in by authorities more concerned with a consistent narrative of political correctness than with defending American lives?

Hillary wants to "protect fellow Americans" in the wake of the California terror attack (just as well as she did in Benghazi).

Much of the main stream media is acting perplexed about what the motive for the California attack might be. The motive is religious fanaticism and it should be obvious. This was an Islamist massacre on US soil.
